CENTRALLY CONTROLLED SAFE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
A cash management system utilizes a cloud computing model wherein a cloud of one or more servers may be locally networked or may be geographically dispersed and accessed by the client device over the Internet. The client device is a cash management safe. More than one safe may be employed in a system. Metrics, control functions, and interactions normally handled by an autonomous safe are shunted directly to a cloud server on the network. Usage data, currency validations, coin validations, security entries, etc. are communicated to the cloud server. The cloud server(s), based on database information and software settings, can transmit configuration, updates and information to remote safes. The information transmitted may include user configuration, access rules, currency configuration, alert configuration, and software and firmware updates. The cloud server based cash management system allows the entire cash management of an enterprise to be provided as a service to that enterprise.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR DYNAMIC OFFLINE BALANCE MANAGEMENT FOR PREAUTHORIZED SMART CARDS
A smart payment device is issued to a user; the device is capable of both offline and online transactions and has a total available balance split. The split is between an available offline balance and an available online balance. It is determined whether the user has entered a primarily offline environment or will imminently enter a primarily offline environment. If this is so, the total available balance split is redistributed to favor offline transactions.
Method, system, and graphic user interface for enabling a customer to access a media file and associated artist
A method, system, GUI, apparatus, and computer readable media for enabling a customer to access both an artist media file as well as the associated artist are provided. An artist profile may be hosted on, for example, a web site, SMS/MMS gateway, and a WAP site. A media file may be received from the artist along with artist contact links and may be uploaded to the artist's profile. A request to access the media file and/or the artist may be received from a customer. The customer may then be enabled to access the media file and/or artist. The artist's account may be updated to indicate the transaction.
System, method, and computer program product for facilitating financial transactions
A system, method, and computer program product for facilitating a financial transaction between a payer device and a payee device is disclosed. A transaction request is generated in response to an authorisation request for initiating the financial transaction. Subsequently, one or more network access parameters associated with at least the payer device and the payee device are determined and a transaction mode is selected based thereon whereby one of the devices in a transactional network is designated to route the transaction request to a payment network. Finally, the transaction request is transmitted to the payment network through the designated device.
Interoperable mobile wallet refund
A computer-implemented system and method that includes receiving, by a messaging hub computer system, from a point of sale (POS) device of a merchant, a request to process a refund for a transaction that occurred between the merchant and a mobile device of a payor, the request comprising a previously used code that was exchanged between the POS device and the mobile device. The method includes determining, by the messaging hub computer system, a first financial institution based at least partially on a portion of the code, and receiving, from a computer system of the first financial institution, payment credential information of an account held by the payor to process the refund using the payment credential information. The method may further include transferring, by the messaging hub computer system, the refund from an account held by the merchant to the account held by the payor.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR ORDERING GOODS, SERVICES AND CONTENT OVER AN INTERNETWORK USING A VIRTUAL PAYMENT ACCOUNT
A virtual payment system for paying for goods, services and content ordered over an internetwork is disclosed. The virtual payment system includes a commerce gateway. Buyers and sellers becomes registered participants by applying for virtual payment buyer and seller accounts. Once an account is established with the commerce gateway, a digital certificate is stored on the registered participant's computer. A buyer can then order a product, i.e., goods, services or content from a seller and charge it to the virtual payment account. When the product is shipped, the seller notifies the commerce gateway, which applies the charges to the buyer's virtual payment account. The buyer can settle the charges using a prepaid account, a credit account, or by using reward points earned through use of the virtual payment account. A buyer may create sub-accounts.
METHODS AND DEVICES FOR SETTLING CRYPTOCURRENCY TRANSACTIONS
A method for settling cryptocurrency transactions, comprising entering a smart contract, on a crypto currency network, between a user, a merchant, and a service provider account (SPA), the SPA associated with a service provider. Method may include determining whether to approve the amount for the transaction based on spending power associated with the user, the spending power calculated as a wallet balance associated with a user minus a card balance associated with the user, approving the request from the merchant based on the determined approval, updating, the card balance associated with the user and a merchant account balance, based on approving the amount for the transaction, and forwarding a new transaction request to the crypto-currency network to execute the smart contract, and initiating a token transfer on the cryptocurrency network by executing the smart contract.
Computer method and GUI for displaying a reflexive index price from the settlement of commodity contracts
A computer method for establishing a commodity price index includes receiving, via a web server, transactions for a plurality of first electronic currency denominated commodity or commodity future contracts, and recording, with the web server, settlement prices for the plurality of the first electronic currency denominated commodity or commodity future contracts on a distributed ledger. The computer method includes reading, with the server computer, from the distributed ledger, at least a portion of the first electronic currency denominated commodity or commodity future contracts settlement prices and determining a current electronic currency index price from the at least a portion of the first electronic currency denominated commodity or commodity future contracts settlement prices. The computer method includes displaying the current electronic currency index price on an electronic display. The computer method further includes setting a value of a second electronic currency to correspond to the current electronic currency index price.
Cryptocurrency exchange without bond backing
A system and corresponding method, for blockchain cryptocurrency exchange, track at least one pending blockchain transaction on a corresponding blockchain. The at least one pending blockchain transaction has been executed, but not yet committed, on the corresponding blockchain. The system and corresponding method determine whether an unexecuted blockchain transaction for cryptocurrency exchange is valid or invalid as a function of transaction information associated with the unexecuted blockchain transaction and the at least one pending blockchain transaction. The system and corresponding method output a result indicating whether the unexecuted blockchain transaction was determined to be valid or invalid, causing the unexecuted blockchain transaction to be executed or denied, respectively.
Systems and methods for multiple account proportional transactions
A system has a datastore including a pro-rata digital wallet associated with a cardholder. The pro-rata digital wallet includes two or more payment card accounts. The system includes a processor programmed to receive an authorization request message from a point-of-sale terminal. The authorization request includes an identification number from a transaction device presented by the cardholder. The processor is programmed to determine whether the identification number corresponds to one of the payment card accounts associated with the pro-rata digital wallet and, if so, identify each of the payment card accounts associated with the pro-rata digital wallet. The processor is programmed to determine a pro-rata payment amount for each of the payment card accounts associated with the pro-rata digital wallet. Each pro-rata payment is based on an available balance of each of the payment card accounts relative to a total available balance for a combination of each of the payment card.
