Systems and methods for issuing and using dedicated tokens for rewards accounts are disclosed. In one embodiment, in a token service provider information processing apparatus comprising at least one computer processor, a method for issuing dedicated tokens for reward accounts may include: (1) receiving, from an electronic wallet, a request to provision a credit or debit-based token for a financial instrument and a dedicated reward-based token for rewards-based transactions associated with the financial instrument to an electronic wallet; (2) generating the credit or debit-based token and the dedicated reward-based token; and (3) providing the credit or debit-based token and the dedicated reward-based token to the electronic wallet and to the issuing bank.

A system and method for transacting cryptographic currency is described. An exchange database associated with a number of buyers and sellers is maintained at a host computer system. Cryptographic currency is received from one or more of the sellers at an exchange wallet associated with the exchange database. A match is created within the exchange database, including a buy offer for the cryptographic currency from a buyer and a sell offer for the cryptographic currency from a seller. A cryptographic currency withdrawal request is received from the buyer, and in response, the host computer system determines that a total amount of cryptographic currency represented in the exchange database matches a total amount of the cryptographic currency within the exchange wallet, transfers the cryptographic currency to the buyer's wallet, and updates the exchange database by deducting a first value of the cryptographic currency that is transferred to the buyer's wallet.

A computer-implemented method for improving the security of a data record distribution process using a blockchain having a group of input nodes and a group of output nodes, each group having a private-public key pair, but wherein the nodes only have a key share of their respective private key and no node has a full private key. Using threshold signature scheme, secret share joining, and stealth addresses, data records from the input nodes are pooled at a stealth address determined through collaborative action of the input nodes, requiring cooperative determination of their public key, a shared secret, and the stealth address. The public key is copied into the transaction. The output nodes locate the transaction and extract the public key, collaboratively verify its authenticity, and collaboratively determine the shared secret. Having done so, the output nodes may, collectively, sign a second transaction for distributing data records from the stealth address to the output addresses. The invention may be used in conjunction with the Bitcoin blockchain, for example, or another blockchain implementation.

A computer implemented method of a resource provider for access control for a restricted resource in a network connected computer system, wherein a blockchain data structure accessible via the network stores digitally signed records validated by network connected miner software components including a provider record associated with the resource provider, the method including: identifying an access control role definition for access to the resource, the role including a specification of access permissions; receiving a request from a resource consumer for access to the resource; communicating, to the resource consumer, an indication of a quantity of a cryptocurrency required for access to the resource; and in response to a determination that the required quantity of cryptocurrency is transferred to the provider record in the blockchain, the transfer being caused by a blockchain transaction including an identification of the role and the transaction being validated by a miner component, granting the consumer access to the resource in accordance with the role definition.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR BLOCKCHAIN BASED PAYMENT NETWORKS

A payment network is operated with a blockchain-based ledger. In one embodiment, a request is prepared to complete a transaction from an account associated with a payer digital wallet for entry on a blockchain. The request includes an amount and a payee identifier associated with a payee digital wallet. The request is sent to the blockchain and approved. A balance of the payer digital wallet and a balance of the payee digital wallet are adjusted in response to approval of the request to complete the transaction by at least writing a portion of data associated with the transaction comprising the amount and the payee identifier to the blockchain. A reputation ledger associated with the account is recorded in the blockchain in association with the transaction. The reputation ledger includes at least one reputation score associated with at least one previous transaction conducted by the account.

METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR CONNECTING TO WIRELESS ACCESS POINT

Embodiments of the present application disclose a method and a device for connecting to a wireless access point. A specific implementation of the method includes: receiving a request for connecting to a wireless access point sent by a terminal device; sending an address of a router to the terminal device, in which the router is a node in a blockchain, and the address of the router is an address of the node to which the router in the blockchain belongs; receiving verification information sent by the terminal device to the address of the router; generating a verification result based on the verification information; and if the verification result indicates that verification is successful, granting the terminal device a permission to connect to the wireless access point. The implementation provides a new method for connecting to a wireless access point, thereby enriching methods for connecting to a wireless access point.
