A method for processing a resource of a block chain may include: issuing a stake certificate in a block chain based on a set stake certificate issuing mechanism, allocating the stake certificate to a stake account according to a stake proportion, and storing operation data of the issuing and allocating the stake certificate into the block chain, the stake account referring to a block chain account; issuing a circulation resource in the block chain based on a set circulation resource issuing mechanism, allocating the circulation resource to the block chain account according to a circulation resource allocation strategy, and storing the operations of the issuing and allocating the circulation resource into the block chain; and ascertaining, during operation of the block chain, a block-producing node according to a delegated proof of stake consensus algorithm, by using the stake certificate of each stake account as a consensus certificate.

Relying party risk-adjusted indicator system and method

Provided is a method including receiving, by a user device, a request from an identity service to approve communicating a user proof-of-identity to a relying party. A user of the user device is prompted to request a one-time transaction identifier based on the request. Based on a first input from the user, the user device requests the one one-time transaction identifier from the identity service. In response to the request for the one-time transaction identifier, the user device receives the one-time transaction identifier from the identity server and displays the one-time transaction identifier on a first user device screen. The user inputs the one-time transaction identifier on a second user device screen and the user device communicates the one-time transaction identifier to the identity service. In response to receiving the at least one inputted one-time transaction identifier, the relying party determines whether to approve or deny a transaction.

A method and system for conducting and recording insurance claim transactions using blockchain is provided. The method comprises the steps of: receiving a first verification element from a claimant at an authenticated provider device of a provider; verifying an eligibility of said claimant at a financer and an eligibility of said provider at a provider network according to said first verification element and said provider device; receiving a second verification element from said claimant at said provider device, said second verification element being distinct from said first verification element; conducting said insurance claim transaction by triggering a transaction chaincode at said provider device according to said second verification element; recording an entry of said insurance claim transaction on a blockchain ledger of a blockchain system; wherein a hashed value of an irreversible hash of said first verification element and said second verification element is stored in a global ledger of said blockchain system, and said entry of insurance claim transaction is stored in a private ledger of said blockchain system only accessible by said financer and said provider network; wherein a proof of claim of said insurance claim transaction is collected from said provider device at the time said transaction chaincode is triggered.

Systems and methods for hybrid synchronization in virtual distributed ledger networks

The present disclosure relates to systems and methods for hybrid synchronization in virtual distributed ledger networks. In one embodiment, a processor-implemented method is disclosed, comprising receiving, at the first virtual machine or container associated with a master ledger, a transaction request comprising transaction information; updating the master ledger with the transaction information; upon determining to perform a synchronous update of the slave ledgers, updating the slave ledgers based on the updated master ledger with the transaction information using a consensus protocol; and upon determining to perform an asynchronous update of the slave ledgers, communicating by the first virtual machine or container, with one or more additional virtual machines or containers associated with the slave ledgers, an update of the slave ledgers at one or more times determined based on a delay tolerance associated with each of the one or more additional virtual machines or containers.

Secure generation of one-time passcodes using a contactless card

Systems, methods, apparatuses, and computer-readable media for secure generation of one-time passcodes using a contactless card. In one example, an operating system (OS) of a device may receive a uniform resource locator (URL) and a cryptogram from a contactless card. The OS may launch an application associated with the URL. The application may transmit the cryptogram to an authentication server. The application may receive a decryption result from the authentication server indicating the authentication server decrypted the cryptogram. Based on the decryption result, the application may request an OTP. The processor may receive an OTP from an OTP generator. The application may receive an input value and compare the input value to a copy of the OTP. The application may determine that the comparison results in a match, and display, based on the determination that the comparison results in the match, one or more attributes of the account.

Private key security in the cloud

Techniques for providing to a user with an anonymous user signature on a message in a distributed decentralized network are presented. The techniques use a hardware security module and a certificate authority. The certificate authority: obtains a credential that includes a certificate for the user, where the certificate includes a user public key and a plurality of user attributes; receives a request for a signature on the message, where the request includes an indication of a subset of the plurality of user attributes to be revealed; accesses from the hardware security module a user secret key; and provides to the user at least the message signed by the user secret key and a zero-knowledge proof that establishes that the message is signed by the user secret key corresponding to the user public key in the credential without revealing the plurality of user attributes.

Distributed ledger for device management

Techniques are described for managing devices, such as Internet of Things (IoT) devices, using smart contract(s) on a distributed ledger (e.g., blockchain). Smart contract(s) executing on a distributed ledger may control access to one or more devices in a home or other environment. The smart contract(s) may employ information stored on the distributed ledger and information in a transaction sent to the smart contract(s) to determine whether particular user(s) and/or process(es) may access the device(s), issue commands to the device(s), access data generated by the device(s), and/or control the device(s). The smart contract(s) may provide a secure portal through which user(s) and/or service(s) may access device(s) for command and control of such device(s), and secure access may be based on permission information that is specified or provided by an owner or operator of the device(s) and that is stored on the distributed ledger.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR SUPPORTING LEGACY AND TOKENIZED E-COMMERCE

System and methods for supporting legacy and tokenized transactions are disclosed. According to one embodiment, in an information processing device comprising at least one computer processor, a method for selecting an electronic payment credential to communicate to a merchant, may include (1) an electronic wallet backend receiving a plurality of payment credentials associated with a payment account; (2) the electronic wallet backend receiving a credential capability for a merchant; (3) the electronic wallet backend selecting one of the payment credentials for a transaction with the merchant based on the credential capability; and (4) the electronic wallet backend communicating the selected payment credential to a point of transaction device for the merchant.

COMPUTER IMPLEMENTED SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR STORING DATA ON A BLOCKCHAIN

A method of storing data on a blockchain, such as the Bitcoin blockchain, is disclosed.
