A secure element integrated within a mobile communications terminal. Such an element includes: at least one first application for processing transactions, having at least one interface for communications with a communications network in a secured manner; and at least one second application for processing secured data, having at least one communications interface for communications with an executing environment of said communications terminal. The first application is able to request at least one piece of data from the second application.

AUTOMATIC LINKING OF LOYALTY ACCOUNTS OF AUTHORIZED USERS TO LOYALTY ACCOUNTS OF PRIMARY USERS

The present disclosure involves systems, software, and computer implemented methods for automatically providing linking partner loyalty rewards accounts using authorized user and primary user information associated with an account. One example method includes authenticating a user at a partner system, and receiving from the user information associated with an account. The information associated with user's account is communicated to a financial institution system via an API where the user can then be verified as an authorized user on an account. The financial institution system then provides the partner system with information associated with the primary user of the account, and the partner system can link a loyalty account of the primary user with the loyalty account of the authenticated user.

FUEL DISPENSER UTILIZING TOKENIZED USER GUIDANCE AND PROMPTING FOR SECURE PAYMENT
20170358040 · 2017-12-14 ·

A fuel dispenser comprises fuel flow piping defining a flow path from a source of fuel toward a fueling nozzle. A plurality of fuel handling components are disposed along the fuel flow piping. Control electronics are in operative communication with the fluid handling components. A payment system includes a PIN pad that transmits secure tokens which are preferably cryptographically unique and independent such as not to be a function or derivative of network keys or user PIN. The tokens are then received and acted upon by a second subsystem to render PIN entry display data.

Multi-Factor User Authentication

A system for multi-factor user authentication for payment card-based transactions are described. The multifactor authentication may be based on a one-time passcode/password (OTP) as sent by an authentication server. A user device may, based on receiving the OTP, send an authentication code. The authentication code may be generated/determined based on the OTP. The authentication code may be augmented biometric identifier (ID) of a user associated with the user device. The authentication server may validate a transaction based on the authentication code.

A system including a network interface and a processing circuit is provided. The processing circuit includes one or more processors coupled to non-transitory memory. The processing circuit is configured to receive a transaction request from a transaction device. The transaction request associated with a payment card and including a transaction amount. The processing circuit is further configured to determine that the transaction amount would cause a violation of a daily spending limit associated with the payment card. The processing circuit is further configured to generate a one-time-password (OTP) associated with the transaction request. The processing circuit is further configured to provide the OTP to a mobile device of a user. The processing circuit is additionally configured to process the transaction request by applying an adaptive daily spending limit (ADSL) override of the daily spending limit responsive to an indication that the user provided the OTP to the transaction device.
