Contactless event processing

Systems for contactless event processing are provided. In some examples, functionality of a self-service kiosk may be requested. In response, a user may be authenticated and a first interactive user interface may be generated and displayed by the self-service kiosk. A user may capture an image of the generated first interactive user interface displayed by the self-service kiosk using, for instance, an image capture device of a user computing device. The captured image may be displayed by a display of the user computing device and the user may provide user input to the user computing device selecting a displayed option. The user input may be processed and mapped to functionality associated with the self-service kiosk. Based on the mapping, one or more instructions or commands may be generated and transmitted to the self-service kiosk. The self-service kiosk may execute the instructions or commands to execute the requested functionality.

ELECTRONIC TRANSACTION SECURITY SYSTEM AND METHOD

A system and method for generating a limited use login credential associated with an account maintained by an institution, where the credential facilitates secure access to the account.

TECHNIQUES FOR PROCESSING PIN-INCLUSIVE TRANSACTIONS IN CONNECTION WITH AN ELECTRONIC DEVICE
20220351206 · 2022-11-03 ·

Certain exemplary embodiments relate to techniques for processing PIN-inclusive transactions in connection with an electronic device or terminal, e.g., where PIN code encryption keys are not necessarily stored on the electronic device or terminal, and/or where payment instrument data is maintained in a separate system from PIN code data at least until certain elements are combined in a highly secure system for submission to an electronic funds transfer network. One or more separate or physically separated systems may be used in this regard, e.g., taking advantage of more prevalent computer networks such as the Internet. Similarly, the ability to provide less expensive terminals or electronic devices at a point-of-sale, point-of-purchase, etc., may be advantageous. The interchange rate is not necessarily driven up in certain example instances.

FUEL DISPENSER UTILIZING TOKENIZED USER GUIDANCE AND PROMPTING FOR SECURE PAYMENT
20220351308 · 2022-11-03 ·

A fuel dispenser comprises fuel flow piping defining a flow path from a source of fuel toward a fueling nozzle. A plurality of fuel handling components are disposed along the fuel flow piping. Control electronics are in operative communication with the fluid handling components. A payment system includes a PIN pad that transmits secure tokens which are preferably cryptographically unique and independent such as not to be a function or derivative of network keys or user PIN. The tokens are then received and acted upon by a second subsystem to render PIN entry display data.

Transaction terminal device, information processing device and information processing method

A transaction terminal device includes an orientation detecting unit that detects the orientation of an information processing device with respect to the orientation of gravity, and an information processing unit that displays a work screen of work categories on a display unit based on display attributes for changing of the orientation of the information processing device configured for each of the work categories. When the display attributes are permitted for rotating the work screen based on the changing of the orientation of the information processing device, the information processing unit displays the respective elements constituting the work screen in the position/orientation based on the detected result by the orientation detecting unit. When the display attributes are prohibited from rotating the work screen, the information processing unit displays the respective elements constituting the work screen in the fixed position/orientation independent from the detected result by the orientation detecting unit.

Security asset packs

In one embodiment, a method includes identifying, by a payment service, a plurality of security assets for inclusion in a pack of security assets. A value of the pack of security assets may be determined based on weighted values of a base unit of each of the security assets. Information may be sent to a first user's client device to display a user interface to purchase the pack of security assets. In response to receiving a purchase request in a specified amount, the payment service may calculate, for each of the security assets in the pack, the base units of the security asset based on the respective assigned weight and the value of a base unit of the security asset. Finally, for each of the security assets in the pack, ownership of the calculated number of base units of the security asset may be assigned to the first user.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR TRANSFERRING VALUES IN REMOTE DATABASES
20220351164 · 2022-11-03 · ·

A method includes receiving a communication identifying a remote database and a first value stored in the remote database that is being transferred to a first entity by a second entity. That first value is capable of being modified by the second entity. Modification of the first value stored in the remote database by the second entity is prevented by identifying an application programming interface allowing operations to be performed on the remote database, and using that API to transfer the first value so as to be associated with one or more other identifiers unknown to the second entity. After modification of the first value stored by the second entity is prevented, a transfer of a second value to a database record associated with the second entity is triggered. Related systems and applications of the method and those systems are also disclosed.

Bionumerical Authentication Systems
20170316408 · 2017-11-02 ·

A system is disclosed that adds a layer of security to a user who wishes to access an account. The system requires the user to enter both a private PIN number and biometric data (e.g. a fingerprint, an eye scan) into a device, which will then combine the data to create a new, secure PIN. The new PIN is then used to access the account. The new PIN could also be generated using ancillary data, such as the time of the request, a request PIN sent to the device from a server, or a GPS location of the device. In other embodiments, the device itself could transmit the new PIN instead of requiring the new PIN to be entered via the user.

Serial number and payment data based payment card processing

A server is operable to receive a media device identifying number (ID) and establish an association between a media device and a payment account and, in one embodiment, supports at least one of payment authorization and payment clearing based at least in part on the media device ID and the payment account. A network and system includes a payment card processor server that is operable to receive a payment authorization request and to determine if an authorized media device generated a purchase selection message and to determine to approve a received payment authorization request based, in part, if the media device was authorized for the purchase selection based upon a received media device ID.

Method, system, and computer program product for network bound proxy re-encryption and pin translation
