Kiosk-based systems and methods for selling cryptocurrencies
A method for selling a cryptocurrency via a consumer-operated kiosk is provided. In some embodiments, the method: displays to a user, via a user interface, one or more options to purchase one or more cryptocurrencies; receives from the user, via the user interface, a selection of one of the cryptocurrencies; obtains a cryptocurrency exchange rate from a cryptocurrency exchange; presents the exchange rate to the user via the user interface; receives from the user payment for the selected cryptocurrency via a bill acceptor; purchases the selected cryptocurrency from the cryptocurrency exchange in an amount based on a value of the received payment and the exchange rate; and displays to the user, via the user interface, a receipt having a redemption code and a personal identification number (PIN), wherein both the redemption code and the PIN are necessary to obtain the selected cryptocurrency.
SYSTEM AND METHOD TO PROTECT PRIVACY OF PERSONAL-IDENTIFICATION-NUMBER ENTRY ON CONSUMER MOBILE DEVICE AND COMPUTING APPARATUS
A system for accepting the input of a PIN comprises a first device receiving a randomized PIN layout derived on a fourth device. The randomized PIN layout is displayed on a display of the first device. A second device comprises an input for accepting a series of key presses to produce a PIN token. The PIN token indicating each of the series of key presses. A third device is in communication with the second device. The third device derives the randomized PIN layout and receives the PIN token from the second device without the PIN token being present on the first device. The third device combines the PIN layout and the PIN token to produce a PIN. The PIN is used to authenticate a transaction. The fourth and third devices each store a shared secret used to independently derive the randomized PIN layout on the fourth and third devices.
SETTLEMENT PAYMENT DEVICE AND UNMANNED STORE SYSTEM
A cost calculation and payment device includes: a main body provided with a placement portion on which the user places merchandise items; a first camera for capturing an image of the merchandise items placed on the placement portion; a second camera for capturing an image of a face of the user; a controller for performing a process related to cost calculation by recognizing the merchandise items in question based on a merchandise item image acquired by image capture by the first camera and to perform a process related to face authentication based on a face image acquired by image capture by the second camera; and a display for displaying a cost calculation result and a payment result acquired by the controller, wherein the display is disposed in a vicinity of the placement portion, and the second camera captures an image of the face of the user looking at the display.
Mobile wallet bundled features
A mobile wallet computing system associated with a mobile wallet database includes a mobile wallet circuit structured to present a mobile wallet interface a mobile wallet user. The mobile wallet interface includes a first portion that includes a graphical depiction of a user payment vehicle associated with a financial institution, the first portion including a first interaction point that enables the user to initiate a sequence to engage in a mobile wallet transaction using the mobile wallet. The interface also includes a second portion that includes a second interaction point and a third interaction point, the second interaction point enabling the user to access a functionality enabling the user to indicate a transaction preference for a transaction with an entity other than the mobile wallet provider or financial institution, the third interaction point enabling the user to indicate a preference to initiate communications with the financial institution.
Systems and methods for card authorization
Example embodiments of systems, methods, and computer-accessible mediums for transaction authorization are provided. An exemplary system can comprise a card including an input device and a display device in data communication with a server. The server can generate an authorization passcode upon an initiation of a transaction session, and the card can receive an entered passcode through the input device, display the entered passcode on the display device, and transmit the entered passcode to the server for comparison to the authorization passcode. Upon a determination that the entered passcode is a match for the authorization passcode, the server can transmit a match notification indicating the transaction session is valid, and upon a determination that the entered passcode is a mismatch for the authorization passcode, the server can transmit a mismatch notification terminating the transaction session.
TRANSACTIONAL APPROVAL SYSTEM
A computerized method for transactional approval stores, at a first computer system, first user identification data associated with a user. The first user identification data is insufficient to confirm an identity of the user. The computerized method stores, at the first computer system, first account identification data associated with the first user identification data. The computerized method receives, at the first computer system, second account identification data associated with a transaction, the second account identification data received from a second computer system. The computerized method also receives, at the first computer system, electronically obtained identification data associated with the transaction. Finally, the computerized method approves, by the first computer system, the transaction when the electronically obtained identification data associated with the transaction corresponds to the first user identification data, and the second account identification data corresponds to the first account identification data.
METHOD OF OPERATING AN AUTOMATED TRANSACTION MACHINE FOR ENHANCED SECURITY
A method of operating an automated transaction machine (ATM) can include at least partially disengaging a first component of the ATM from a remainder of the ATM. The method can also include altering the first component to a non-conforming condition after being at least partially disengaged. The method can also include re-engaging the first component with the ATM after being altered. The method can also include replacing a second component of the ATM after the re-engaging. Replacing the second component can include pairing the second component with a computing device of the ATM. The pairing can be responsive at least in part to the altering.
SECURE TRANSACTION INTERFACES
Systems and methods for secure transaction interfaces. In one implementation, a processing device receives, within a user input interface and while a user communication agent is presented at a display interface of a device, a selection of a transaction initiation control, presents, in response to the selection of the transaction initiation control and via the user input interface, a transaction execution control, presents, in response to a selection of the transaction execution control, identifier(s) via an identifier selection control, receives a selection of the identifier(s), transitions, in response to the selection of the identifier(s), the user input interface into a numeric input interface, receives a numeric input via the numeric input interface, activates a transaction confirmation control within the user input interface, and executes, in response to a selection of the transaction confirmation control, a secure transaction with respect to the selected identifier(s) and the numeric input.
Payment message interface
Systems and methods for providing a payment messaging interface may include receiving, at a computing device comprising a processor, transaction information regarding the transaction. Once the transaction information is received, the transaction information may be translated into a data structure that corresponds to a payment processor. Once the transaction information has been translated, the data structure may be transmitted to the payment processor.
AUTHORIZATION OF CARDLESS PAYMENT TRANSACTIONS
A method of processing a transaction between a customer and a merchant includes receiving from a mobile device of the customer or from another device of the customer an indication of consent to perform a cardless payment transaction with the merchant, receiving from the mobile device an indication that the customer is within a predetermined distance of the merchant, after receiving both the indication of consent and the indication that the customer is within the predetermined distance, sending to a computer system of the merchant an indication of the presence of the customer and personal identifying information for the customer, receiving data indicating a transaction between the customer and the merchant, and submitting the transaction to a financial service for authorization.
