METHODS AND SYSTEM FOR SECURELY CAPTURING AND PROVIDING TRANSACTION INFORMATION
An option is set on a payment card of a card issuer. A request for payment for a transaction is received by a payment server of the card issuer from a merchant device/server. The payment server requests and receives a one-time token based on the option. An authorization indicating payment was successful is sent from the payment server to the merchant device/server with a flag set, the token, and a network address. Merchant device/server identifies the flag obtains the token and sends an e-receipt for the transaction along with the token to the network address. The e-receipt accessible from the network address by a consumer associated with the transaction. Furthermore, the e-receipt is obtained by the consumer without registering personal information or contact information with the merchant, which preserves the anonymity of the consumer with respect to the merchant.
TRANSACTION FRAUD PREVENTION TOOL
Various examples are directed to systems and methods for detecting potentially fraudulent voice calls to a financial services institution. A computing system may receive an indication of a voice call placed by a voice caller to an operator. The computing system may generate a network address indicator describing a network location. The network address indicator may be provided to the voice caller. The computing system may receive an indication of a financial services account indicated by the voice caller. The computing system may also receive an indication of an access to the network location by a remote device. The computing system may determine, using the indication of the access to the network location, a first location associated with the remote device and determine that the first location does not match a second location associated with the financial services account. The computing system may generate an alert indicating that the voice call is potentially fraudulent.
Smart wearable ring based wireless transaction system and method thereof
The present invention relates generally to the field of wearable devices and transaction banking, and more particularly to a smart wearable ring based wireless transaction system and method thereof which has capability to works at both point of sale (PoS or POS or Pos) system and/or at automated teller machine (ATM) centers for our purchases as well as for ATM transactions. Accordingly, an aspect of the present invention is to a smart ring having one or more inner rings, wherein each ring is utilized to set pin on the ring to enable the RFID chip which is embedded in the ring to initiate/perform at least one transaction.
Payment support system, payment support method, and non-transitory recording medium
A payment support system includes a terminal ID acquisition processing unit, a position acquisition processing unit, an association processing unit, and a payment processing unit. The terminal ID acquisition processing unit acquires identification information of a user terminal of a user who entered a facility. The position acquisition processing unit acquires position information of the user terminal. The association processing unit stores the identification information acquired by the terminal ID acquisition processing unit and a use price of the facility of the user in a storage unit in association with each other. The payment processing unit executes a payment process of the use price when the user terminal is separated from a predetermined area of the facility by a predetermined distance or more after exiting the predetermined area.
Conducting a transaction at a mobile POS terminal using a defined structure
A system and method configured for conducting a transaction between two parties using a mobile device, or a plurality of mobile devices. In various embodiments, a system for conducting a transaction can comprise an accessory device having an accessory device module and a hardware component, where the accessory device can have various accessory device capabilities. The system can further comprise a mobile device SDK incorporated into the client application and in communication with the accessory device, where the mobile device SDK includes an accessory conversion module in communication with the accessory device module and where the mobile device SDK provides data to the client application. The client application can request accessory device information and receive accessory device capabilities, and the transaction data for the transaction can be provided in a defined structure between the accessory device and the client application via the mobile device SDK.
CARD-NOT-PRESENT TRANSACTIONS WITH CARDHOLDER-CHOSEN CVV
A cardholder enters (305) payment information and a freely-selected transaction CVV in a merchant system (20). A payment system (30) receives (400) a request from the merchant system including the transaction CVV and transaction information, and sends (405) a transaction authorization request to a cardholder device (13). The transaction information are displayed (310) on the cardholder device and invites the cardholder to enter the transaction CVV for confirmation purpose. In response, the cardholder enters (315) a confirmation CVV. The payment system approves (240, 415) the transaction when the transaction and confirmation CVVs are the same. As a result, the CVV can have a short life and be changed at each transaction, thereby increasing the security of the transactions. Also, PCI certification constraints on servers are reduced since no issuer master key is required for the CVVs. Lastly, the cardholder has more control on the transaction validation.
Merchant issued payment vehicles linked to preexisting financial accounts
Systems and methods are provided for linking a customer's preexisting financial account to a merchant issued payment vehicle. If an account number associated with the preexisting financial account changes, the linking of the merchant issued payment vehicle is updated with an updated account number.
CONTRACTOR POINT OF SALE SYSTEM
Systems and related methods facilitating interactions between a merchant device, a central system and a consumer device are discussed herein. A system that may be implemented to provide a master merchant having a merchant device with a POS system configured to generate a bill for products, experiences, or services provided, a way to link or associate one or more accounts, such as contractor accounts to their master merchant account or merchant device, and transfer a portion of the payment to the linked accounts. In addition, some embodiments of the system may provide for receiving selection of, for each product, service or experience provided, a contractor account from a list of one or more approved contractor accounts linked to the master merchant account. Further embodiments may provide for receiving a payment or payment information for a charge amount, the charge amount comprised of costs associated with the products, services and experiences, as well as adjustments for redeemed instruments, taxes, tip or the like.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS TO PROVIDE USER VERIFICATION IN A SHARED USER ENVIRONMENT VIA A DEVICE-SPECIFIC DISPLAY
A method of generating a shared augmented reality payment authentication entry interface includes detecting a first consumer device and a second consumer device; prompting a display of a first augmented reality payment authentication interface at the first consumer device; and prompting a display of a second augmented reality payment authentication interface at the second consumer device.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR AUTHENTICATION AND FRAUD DETECTION BASED ON IOT ENABLED DEVICES
The invention relates to a customer authentication system that comprises: identifying a customer identification based on a customer input; using the customer identification, identifying a plurality of IoT devices associated with the customer where the customer has an authentication set of IoT devices; receiving a user selection of IoT devices; determining whether the user selection matches the authentication set of IoT devices; connecting to one or more of the user selected IoT devices; transmitting a request to one or more of the user selected IoT devices for user interaction data; and verifying user activity based on the user interaction data.
