Some implementations can include an application to procure and present transaction details. In some implementations, the application is a software application that presents a user interface comprising transaction details corresponding to a user's transaction. In some implementations, the application provides an option to a user to choose to receive details of a transaction. In some implementations, the user can choose to receive details of the transaction by selecting an option. In some implementations, upon the user selecting the option, the application requests the user to provide access credentials to access an account associated with the user from which details of the transaction can be retrieved. In some implementations, upon the user providing the user access credentials, the application accesses the account associated with the user to retrieve the details of the transaction and then presents the retrieved details of the transaction to the user for review.

Methods, systems, and apparatuses are described herein for authenticating access to an account using questions which allow users to provide textual information about transactions conducted by an account. A machine learning model may be trained to predict the guessability of merchants. A request for access to an account may be received, and transaction data for that account may be received. An authentication question may be presented. For example, a user may be prompted to list places they have shopped recently. A user response comprising text data may be received. The text data may be processed to identify one or more merchants. If the one or more merchant(s) are represented in the transaction data, the machine learning model may be used to determine the guessability of the one or more merchants. An authentication score may be determined based on the guessability, and access to the account may be provided.

A method of processing payment transactions includes receiving a transaction request from a client device, determining whether a transaction command generator is available, transmitting the transaction request to a transaction command generator, the transaction command generator being an existing transaction command generator or a newly created transaction command generator, receiving generated personal identification number (PIN) pad commands from the transaction command generator, and transmitting the generated PIN pad commands to a PIN pad.

A system and method for ensuring the authenticity of imaged documents by embedding data into the images of such documents. The embedded data can then be extracted and decoded, and used to determine whether a particular document may be fraudulent. The documents may be checks, money orders, contracts, invoices, titles or other legal documents that may need to have their authenticity confirmed to prevent, for example, forged or otherwise false documents from being accepted as genuine.

A portable, application-specific USB autorun device, following connection to a computer terminal, automatically initialises or presents itself as a known type of device and then automatically sends to the terminal a sequence of data complying with a standard protocol, that sequence of data automatically causing content to be accessed or a task to be initiated. Methods, systems, and storage media are described for processing point of sale (POS) transactions. In embodiments, a computing device may receive a transaction initiation, and provide a selection of a payment credential to be used to process a POS transaction. The computing device includes a trusted execution environment to process the POS transaction in response to the selection of the payment credential. The trusted execution environment may comprise a payment credential storage unit to store payment credentials and a virtual POS terminal that may validate a merchant terminal associated with the transaction initiation, process the POS transaction using the selected payment credential to generate payment data, and encrypt the payment data. The computing device may communicate the encrypted payment data to a cloud POS service for further processing. Other embodiments may be described and/or claimed.

Methods, systems and apparatus are provided for facilitating financial transactions using an IC type financial card presented at a terminal. A requested transaction for monetary value is processed via a first transaction type. If the transaction is successful, monetary value (such as cash or a monetary value ticket or receipt) is dispensed to the user. If unsuccessful, the card is not ejected and the transaction is processed via a second transaction type. The first transaction type might be a PIN based ATM or ticket transaction and the second transaction type might be a signature based transaction.

A device and a secure element for conducting a secured financial transaction are disclosed. The device comprises a central processing unit; a communication interface for establishing a communication between the device and a financial institution related to a financial account; an interface for acquiring data relating to the financial account; the secure element for processing at least a portion of the data relating to the financial account acquired by the interface; and control logic for acquiring a purchase amount to be debited from the financial account and for obtaining a transaction authorization from the financial institution related to the financial account, the transaction authorization being based, at least partially, on data processed solely by the secure element independently of data processed by the central processing unit. A method of conducting the secured financial transaction, and a computer program product for execution by the secure element are also disclosed.

Exemplified systems and methods facilitate secured mobile payment transactions using credit cards, debit cards, bank account without having to transmit credit card, debit card, or bank account numbers over a wireless network. Rather, the exemplified systems and methods facilitate a highly secure and intuitive payment transaction and/or ATM cash withdrawal or transaction via two independent processes tied to a cloud or enterprise network—one performed between a customer computing device and a cloud network or enterprise network and another performed between a merchant computing device (including an ATM system) and the cloud or enterprise network. The validation token comprising a short code between 3 and 6 tokens in length is beneficially realized.

A method of processing payment transactions includes receiving a connection request from a client device, determining whether a gateway is available for the client device, creating a connection between the client device and a gateway, the gateway being a previously existing gateway or a newly generated gateway, creating a message filter for the client device on a message bus, listening for messages on the message bus and transmitting the message to the client device by way of the gateway upon finding a message on the message bus matching the message filter.
