Methods and systems for secure authentication in a virtual or augmented reality environment
A method of generating a virtual reality payment authentication entry interface includes receiving, over a computer network, a request for payment authorization; identifying a virtual reality interface; generating a plurality of payment authentication characters in the virtual reality interface; receiving user input associated with at least one character of the plurality of payment authentication characters in the virtual reality interface; and generating a payment authorization response to the request for payment authorization based on the received user input.
Secure wireless card reader
In some examples, a wireless card reader detects insertion of a chip card at a chip card reader interface that includes electrical contacts positioned in the wireless card reader to contact contacts of the chip card when inserted into the wireless card reader. The wireless card reader may send, to a mobile computing device, a wireless communication request to send a PIN to the card reader. The card reader may receive, from the mobile computing device, a wireless communication including the PIN entered by a user on the mobile computing device. The card reader may send the PIN for authentication of the PIN. The card reader may receive a confirmation that the PIN has been authenticated. The card reader may send, to the mobile computing device, via the communication component, an indication of the confirmation that the PIN has been authenticated.

System and method for location-based transactions
A system and method for using at least location information to facilitate a transaction is provided. In one embodiment of the present invention, a mobile application operating on a mobile device is used to determine a location of the mobile device. Location information is then provided to a host device, where it is used to identify a merchant. Information is also entered (or acquired) to identify a shopping cart that is used during a shopping session. As items are placed within the cart, information concerning the items is presented to the user via a display on the cart and/or the mobile device. The first party can then interact with the same to enhance their shopping experience (e.g., access coupons, search for items, etc.). Once the user is done, the host device will charge a payment method linked to the user's account for items that are in the shopping cart.
Systems and methods for a payment card with multiple funding sources
A system and computer-implemented method includes the operations of transmitting a cold reset signal to a multiple-funding source payment card and receiving a first answer-to-reset message therefrom. The first answer-to-reset message includes governing rules for performing a single-swipe transaction. The operation also includes receiving payment account details for a first payment account in accordance with the governing rules. A first PIN associated with the first payment account is input by a cardholder and a first payment authorization request message for approval of the single-swipe transaction is transmitted. Upon receipt of a payment declined response message, a warm reset signal is transmitted to the payment card. A second answer-to-reset message is received including payment account details for a second payment account. The cardholder inputs a second PIN associated with the second payment account and a second payment authorization request message for approval of the single-swipe transaction is transmitted.
Augmented reality-enabled ATM for secure augmented reality check realization
An Augmented Reality (AR)-enabled Automated Teller Machine (ATM) receives a request to dispense cash equal to amount of an AR document. The AR document comprises an AR check. The AR-enabled ATM fetches a first AR check image from a memory. The AR-enabled ATM extracts a first set of features from the first AR check image. The AR-enabled ATM receives a second AR check image from a computing device associated with the receiver. The AR-enabled ATM extracts a second set of features from the second AR check image. The AR-enabled ATM compares the first AR check image with the second AR check image. The AR-enabled ATM determines whether the first AR check image corresponds to the second AR check image. In response to determining that the first AR check image corresponds to the second AR check image, the AR-enabled ATM dispenses cash equal to the amount.
Systems and methods for linking authentications in connection with network interactions
Systems and methods are provided for associating authentications and authorizations in connection with network interactions. An exemplary system includes a computing device configured to receive an authorization request for a network interaction from an acquirer, where the authorization request includes a primary account number (PAN) for a payment account and a transaction amount. The computing device is also configured to determine whether the authorization request includes an accountholder authentication value (AAV) and/or a transaction identifier (ID). In response to the authorization request including the AAV and the transaction ID, the computing device is configured to determine whether the AAV and the transaction ID are included in a data structure and, in response to them being included in the data structure, append a tag to the authorization request indicative of association of the authorization request to an authentication in the data structure associated with the AAV and the transaction ID.
Voice recognition to authenticate a mobile payment
Systems and methods are provided for authenticating mobile payments from a customer account to a merchant. The systems and methods may include a financial service provider receiving a request to authorize an electronic transaction at a point-of-sale. A financial service provider server computer may verify that the customer is present at the point-of-sale using received location data. An image having distorted text such as a captcha may be transmitted to a device at the point-of-sale, and the customer may read the captcha aloud. A voice sample of the customer may be sent to the financial service provider for comparison to stored voice recordings, to verify that the customer's voice sample is authentic if the voice matches a previously generated voice recording for the account. If the voice sample is authentic, the financial service provider may authorize the mobile payment.
Device and method for secure identification of a user
A portable payment or retail terminal with jack connector and a method for secure identification of a cardholder, the terminal including a set of devices and arrangement for implementing the method, which has at least: detecting the presence of a jack plugged in the connector of the terminal for connecting a cardholder's headset, triggering the execution of an accessibility mode allowing the cardholder to identify, the method being wherein it includes at least: scrambling and maintaining the screen in black during the sequence of the accessibility mode, generating a chain of keys comprising a set of keys for PIN/SNL entry, attributing a value of key corresponding to the length d of the finger's displacement; selecting among pre-registered audio signals corresponding to each key of the chain of keys, the sound corresponding to the key attributed to the displacement and emit it through the jack connector towards the cardholder's headset.
VEHICLE AND MOBILE DEVICE COMMUNICATING WITH VEHICLE
A vehicle for performing a simple payment service, and a mobile device configured to perform communication with the vehicle includes a display, a communicator configured to perform communication with a mobile device, and a processor configured to transmit an authentication request signal to the mobile device when performing a car payment service, proceed with a payment when receiving authentication success information from the mobile device, and control the display to output authentication failure information and cancel the payment when the authentication failure information is received from the mobile device.
