SPECIAL PURPOSE VENDING MACHINE (SPVM) AND METHODS OF USE THEREOF
The present disclosure relates to special purpose vending machines (SPVMs) methods of use thereof, and computer readable mediums (CRMs) for operating the same. In certain aspects, the method includes receiving personally identifying information (PII) from a user, receiving, from the user, an order to purchase at least one item, transmitting the PII to a third-party verification service (TPVS), receiving at least one user verification from the TPVS, sending a code to the user, where the code may include order data corresponding to the at least one item purchased by the user, receiving a scan of the code from the user using a special purpose vending machine (SPVM), where the SPVM houses the at least one item purchased by the user, and instructing the SPVM to dispense the at least one item purchased by the user.
PRIVACY PRESERVING ASSET TRANSFER BETWEEN NETWORKS
A method for providing privacy-preserving asset transfers between networks, by connecting to a first blockchain network, receiving login data from a user, receiving an asset pledge transaction for an asset, confirming that the user is an owner of the asset based on a previous asset transfer transaction associated with the user, verifying an availability of the asset based on first blockchain network records, determining that a recipient is a registered user of a second blockchain network, assigning the asset to a first unique identifier, receiving at least one of a pledge proof request, from the recipient prior to expiration of the deadline, and an asset reclaim transaction, from the user after expiration of the deadline, the pledge proof request and reclaim transaction each comprising the first unique identifier and responding to the at least one of the pledge proof request and the asset reclaim request according to the deadline.
EFFICIENT INTEGRATION OF DATA INTO ENVIRONMENTS
Data can be efficiently integrated into environments. A location index consisting of a hierarchical arrangement of location tags can be defined for a planet. Each location tag can represent a cell in a hierarchical arrangement of grids where each cell encompasses a location on the planet. Location tags can be associated with data to allow the data relevant to a location in the environment to be quickly and efficiently retrieved using the location tags. Other indexes can be used to define hierarchical arrangements of other tags to further facilitate retrieving relevant data for integration in the environment. Location tags can be used to tag transactions recorded in a blockchain.
Variable deposits maximums for a digital cash deposit digitization service
A system and method are disclosed in which cash deposits may be made at merchant locations who support such deposits. Using a mobile phone or other hand-held device, a bank customer requests a cash deposit from a banking app, receives a barcode on the mobile device, the barcode containing embedded information indicating the cash deposit amount, and presents the barcode to the merchant, along with the cash to be deposited. Once the transaction with the merchant is complete, the account of the bank customer's account is credited with the cash amount. The bank uses behavioral and historical data of the bank customer to customize a cash deposit limit for the customer.
System, method, and computer program product to determine cuisine type classifiers
Provided is a method that includes determining cuisine type classifiers based on merchant data, receiving transaction data associated with each payment transaction of a plurality of payment transactions involving a plurality of merchants and a plurality of consumers; determining, with at least one processor, a plurality of cuisine type labels based on a plurality of merchant names associated with the plurality of payment transactions or a portion of the plurality of payment transactions, wherein a cuisine type label identifies a cuisine type provided by a respective merchant of the plurality of merchants; generating a merchant cuisine type model from the transaction data to determine a cuisine type label of a merchant, the merchant cuisine type model based on the transaction data, and makes an inference based on a combination of merchant or consumer features associated with a payment transaction of the plurality of payment transactions; and automatically predicting one or more cuisine type classifications using the merchant cuisine type model based on one or more payment transactions associated with a consumer. A system and a computer program product are also disclosed.
System and method for simplified checkout
In various embodiments, a system and method for providing simplified checkout are provided. In example embodiments, an identifier that corresponds to a payment account of a user is received at a payment provider system. Account information from the payment account of the user is retrieved from a payment data storage of the payment provider system. The account information is used in a payment transaction involving a merchant system. A payment interface having transaction fields populated with the account information retrieved from the payment account of the user is presented to the user while the user maintains a presence on a webpage of a merchant system.
Systems and methods of blockchain transaction recordation
A computer system is provided that communicates with a distributed blockchain computing system that includes multiple computing nodes. The exchange stores an order book and a plurality of digital wallets associated with different clients. The computer system receives new data transaction requests that are added to the order book. A match is identified between data transaction requests and hashes associated with the digital wallets associated with the respective data transaction requests are generated. The counterparties receive the hashes of the other party along with information on the match and each party causes blockchain transactions to be added to the blockchain of the blockchain computing system. The computing system then monitors the blockchain to determine if both sides of the match has been added to the blockchain.
System and method for retail management of controlled substances
A method and system for retail management of controlled substances is provided. Controlled substances such as alcohol or cannabis may be sold as products or served at a venue. The process of purchasing the controlled substance, or service of a controlled substance the current venue includes a customer presenting the controlled substance for purchase and providing a customer identifier. The point of sale device at the venue may send an authorization request to a processing server at a remote service, which may reply with an advisory response including information from a customer profile. Optionally, a system and method of retail management of controlled substances provides for a law enforcement system may send an investigation request comprising a vehicle identifier to the processing server, and in response an investigation response may be sent to the law enforcement system may be sent including information from the customer profile.
Document importation into secure element
Techniques are disclosed relating to authenticate a user with a mobile device. In one embodiment, a computing device includes a short-range radio and a secure element. The computing device reads, via the short-range radio, a portion of credential information stored in a circuit embedded in an identification document issued by an authority to a user for establishing an identity of the user. The computing device issues, to the authority, a request to store the credential information, the request specifying the portion of the credential information. In response to an approval of the request, the computing device stores the credential information in the secure element, the credential information being usable to establish the identity of the user. In some embodiments, the identification document is a passport that includes a radio-frequency identification (RFID) circuit storing the credential information, and the request specifies a passport number read from the RFID circuit.
Intelligent cash handling
Aspects of the disclosure relate to cash handling devices that provide intelligent monitoring and management of cash cycles. A cash handling device having at least one processor, a communication interface, and memory may receive, from a mobile device, a request to process a pre-staged transaction. Subsequently, the cash handling device may generate and present a graphical identifier based on the mobile device requesting access to the cash handling device. Next, the cash handling device may verify that the mobile device is authorized to perform the pre-staged transaction based on the graphical identifier being scanned by the mobile device and cause a connection to be established between the cash handling device and the mobile device. Thereafter, the cash handling device may identify and process the pre-staged transaction associated with the mobile device. Then, the cash handling device may generate a notification indicating completed processing of the identified pre-staged transaction.
