Sharing and using passes or accounts
The present disclosure generally relates to a computer system displaying user interfaces for accessing passes and transfer accounts. In some examples, passes are added to the computer system. In some examples, passes are accessed. In some examples, transfers relating to the passes and transfer accounts are displayed, such as in search user interfaces.
Convergent Consensus Method for Distributed Ledger Transaction Processing
A computer system and computer-implemented method for efficiently achieving convergent consensus in a distributed network of nodes that maintains a decentralised database or ledger with immutable data storage. Via transactions, client nodes request updates to the ledger that are verified by a set of peer nodes to achieve a new agreed consensus across the whole network. The process involves a Belief Merge Function and a State Transition Function that rapidly converge to consensus. The convergence method uses peers' “proof of stake” to avoid the high cost of “proof of work” alternatives that have unsustainable energy requirements. Embodiments of the system have a capacity for tens of thousands of transactions per second.
Dynamic transaction card protected by multi-factor authentication
A dynamic transaction card comprising an outer surface, a sensor, and a display disposed on the outer surface is disclosed. The dynamic transaction card can include an antenna and a microcontroller controlling a dynamic transaction card application. The dynamic transaction card can also include a secure payment chip having a plurality of contact points and storing a passive tag associated with a user. The passive tag can include a unique identifier and one or more log-in credentials for the user. When making a purchase, the user can be authenticated via a connection between the dynamic transaction card and a user device. The unique identifier can be used as an authentication token and the one or more log-in credentials can be verified against log-in credentials associated with the user.
Systems for authenticating users from a separate user interface
A system facilitates authentication in situations where a pop-up window fails or is disallowed. If a browser application accessing a first webpage is not capable of presenting pop-up windows and redirects a user to a separate webpage for collecting information, the browser application, the absence of a JavaScript object indicating the pop-up window, or the inability to exchange data with a computing device associated with the first webpage is determined. In such a case, if valid information is received from the user, authorization data is provided to the computing device in the form of text included in a Uniform Resource Identifier (URI) for the first webpage. As a result, transactions may be authorized when a browser application is not capable of presenting pop-up windows.
Adaptable QR codes to launch customized experiences
Systems, computer-implemented methods, apparatus, and/or computer program products that can facilitate adaptable QR codes to launch customized experiences are provided. In various embodiments, a system can receive, from a client device, a quick response (QR) code, a client identifier, and location data associated with the client device. In various aspects, the system can identify, from a plurality of merchants, a first merchant that corresponds to the QR code, based on identifying that the first merchant corresponds to the location data. In various instances, the system can identify, from a plurality of client profiles, a first client profile that corresponds to the client identifier. In various cases, the system can identify a digital content based on the first merchant and the first client profile. In various aspects, the system can cause the digital content to be provided to the client device.
Pay with points virtual card
Systems and methods for providing a rewards payment form linked directly to a rewards account are described. The rewards points may be spent directly by the customer through the use of the payment form linked to the rewards account. The payment form may be a payment card (e.g., a physical card having an account number accessible via a magstripe, an EMV chip, etc.) or a virtual payment card loaded into a mobile wallet accessible by the customer. The rewards payment form allows the customer to spend the rewards points stored in the rewards account without first going through the extra step of converting the rewards points into currency.
Multi-Tenant Node on a Private Network of Distributed, Auditable, and Immutable Databases
The present disclosure describes a technology platform for creating and updating records of resources in a ledger. To create a record, a tenant organization may prepare a record to write to the ledger that may be flagged as temporary. Metadata may be added to the record, which flags the record as temporary. The metadata may comprise a unique code and an identification of a user that can approve the temporary record. The unique code and the identification may be sent, by the technology platform, to a device associated with one or more approving devices. Upon receiving the code and the identification of the transaction, the device may sign the unique code and invoke a routine based on the identification. The routine may fetch the temporary record. The device may compare the unique code to a code stored in the metadata of the temporary record. Upon valid verification of the unique code, the device may indicate authorization of the write. Based on the authorization, a proxy node associated with the technology platform may write a definitive record to the ledger based on the temporary record.
VALUE-ADDED SERVICES PROVIDED IN A SEAMLESS LIFE FORMAT
Value-added services that allow for a seamless integration of actions related to activities and/or events are provided. A determination is made that an event has started based on scheduled event data or historical information associated with a user. Profile data associated with the user is identified based on the start of the first event. The identity of the user is verified based on a mapping between the profile data and data related to the first event. Further, an activity related to a second event is triggered after completion of a transaction of the first event is completed. A suggested action may be activated based on the trigger event. The suggested action is based on historical information associated with the user and is not a component of the first event or the second event.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR THIRD-PARTY FOOD AND DINING ORDERING CONTROL
A system and method for third-party food and dining ordering control, comprising at least one device capable of accessing the internet which may be a mobile device or personal computing device such as a laptop or desktop, a web application, and a point-of-sale system at a restaurant or retailer, wherein users of the web application may deposit funds into an account and set regulations on what they may purchase with the deposited funds, or have an administrator set up an account for them such as a parent setting up an account for a child or a doctor setting up an account for a patient, allowing the parent or doctor or other administrator to regulate what the sub-user such as the child or patient may purchase, in keeping with budget, diet, and lifestyle restrictions, and which may utilize zero-step authentication to allow for seamless use of the service at certain establishments.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR CREATING DYNAMIC SESSIONS FOR MOBILE APPLICATION INTEGRATION
Systems and methods for mobile application integration are described. These may include receiving a payment request a mobile application, sending a payment application detection request, receiving a detection response, and sending a customized user interface to the mobile device. The customized user interfaces are determined by whether an associated payment application is present on the mobile device and whether the mobile device is authenticated with the payment processing platform. These techniques can allow for a better user experience when interacting with the payment processing platform.
