Disclosed embodiments may include a method that includes receiving first identifying information associated with a first user from a computing device; determining a score based on the first identifying information; determining whether the score is less than a threshold; pseudo-randomly generate and transmit a one-time use number to the computing device when the score is less than the threshold. When the score is greater than or equal to the threshold, the method may include transmitting, to the computing device, second instructions prompting the first user to provide second identifying information. Responsive to receiving the second identifying information of the first user, the method may include determining that the second identifying information matches stored second identifying information. Responsive to the second identifying information matching stored second identifying information, the method may include pseudo-randomly generate and transmit the one-time use number to the computing device.

REAL-TIME FRAUD DETECTION BASED ON DEVICE FINGERPRINTING

Provided are systems and methods for real-time identification of fraudulent users of an online resource such as a website or mobile application, including new user accounts that have yet to transact on the online resource. In one example, a method may include receiving, by a host platform of an online resource, a request from a user device associated with a user account of the online resource, creating, by the host platform, a device fingerprint of the user device based on a plurality of device attributes included in the request, determining, by the host platform, whether the device fingerprint matches a previously banned device fingerprint stored in a database by the online resource, and in response to a determination that the device fingerprint has been banned previously, automatically restricting, by the host platform, an ability of the user account with the online resource.

Single-use authorization codes in self-contained format

The present disclosure relates to computer-implemented methods, software, and systems for generating access tokens at an authentication server based on authorization codes. A first authorization server from a set of authorization servers receives a request for authorization of a request to access a resource by a resource owner. The first authorization server validates the request for authorization of the request to generate an authorization code. In response to successful validation of the request for authorization to generate the authorizaction code, the first authorization server generates a single-use authorization code by signing the generated authorization code with a unique private key. A unique public key is maintained for verifying the signed authorization code. The single-use authorization code is generated in a self-contained format. The single-use authorization code is provided to the client application for generation of an access token by one of the authorization servers from the set of authorization servers.
