SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR AUTHENTICATING A REQUESTOR AT A COMPUTING DEVICE
20220414675 · 2022-12-29 ·

An authentication computing device including at least one processor in communication with a memory is provided. The processor stores, within the memory, an authentication profile associated with an account holder. The authentication profile includes an account identifier associated with a payment account of the account holder and authentication information. The processor further receives an authentication request associated with the payment account and a payment card action request from a requestor for a payment card action to be performed through an automated teller machine (ATM). The processor also retrieves the stored authentication profile, generates an authentication challenge based on the authentication profile, transmits the authentication challenge to a client device and/or the ATM, receives an authentication response from the requestor, and determines an authentication result based, at least in part, on the authentication response. The authentication result indicates if the requestor is the authenticated account holder of the payment account.

A method of remotely configuring a banking application based on a detected location of a computing device running the banking application, the method comprising: receiving a beacon identifier relating to a location of the computing device; determining the location of the computing device based on the beacon identifier; transmitting information about the determined location associated with a second authentication level that does not require authentication information; receiving authentication information relating to the user; authenticating the user to access a graphical user interface associated with the determined location based on the received authentication information; transmitting an authentication decision to the computing device; and displaying the graphical user interface instead of the information about the determined location.

NO POINT-OF-SALE TERMINAL EXCHANGE ITEM REDEMPTION

A method includes receiving, by a marketplace server from a computing device, use information regarding a transaction associated with an exchange item, the use information includes a merchant identifier. The method further includes obtaining a record associated with the exchange item that includes identification of an owner computing device. The method further includes determining whether the record indicates the computing device is the owner computing device. When yes, the method includes sending use verification information to an exchange item trusted module and receiving back a use verification response that indicates whether the exchange item is valid for the transaction. When valid, the method further includes generating second use information regarding the transaction that includes one or more of the use information and the use verification response. The method further includes sending the second use information to the merchant computing device associated with the merchant identifier to facilitate completing the transaction.

ELECTRONIC TRANSACTION FOBS

Systems and methods for electronic fobs that communicate via short range communications protocols to conduct transactions with a nearby device are provided. Such electronic fobs may use electronic tokens to conduct electronic transactions, such as payment transactions. Account data may be stored within a secure element of the electronic fob. Electronic tokens may also be stored by the secure element. Using such data and/or tokens, electronic fob may write electronic tokens to be used in electronic transactions. Also, such electronic fobs may also be used to perform other tasks and interface with other devices.

20220391857 · 2022-12-08 ·

Provided is a system for conducting a payment transaction involving payment on delivery in real-time. The system may include at least one processor programmed or configured to receive transaction data associated with a payment transaction involving a merchant and a customer at a location that is independent of a merchant location, determine a financial institution of a plurality of financial institutions based on the transaction data associated with the payment transaction, communicate data associated with a request for authorization of the payment transaction involving the merchant and the customer, receive an indication of authorization of the payment transaction involving the merchant and the customer, and communicate data associated with authorization of the payment transaction involving the merchant and the customer. A method and computer program product are also provided.

Secure Authentication System With Token Service

An enhanced authentication system is described. One embodiment of the invention is directed to a method comprising: receiving, by a token service computer and from an initiating computer, a first authentication request message including verification method data and a token; transmitting, by the token service computer, a second authentication request message comprising the token and the verification method data to an access control server; receiving, by the token service computer from the access control server, an authentication response message comprising the token and a user authentication verification value; and transmitting, by the token service computer to the initiating computer, the authentication response message comprising the token, the user authentication verification value, and a token authentication verification value.

Systems and methods for analyzing sleep data and sleep pattern data

A sleep pattern analyzer (SPA) system for capturing and analyzing sleep data and sleep pattern data is provided. The SPA system is configured to receive sleep data associated with a user, the sleep data including a registered user identifier and at least one sleep time stamp, and store the sleep data in a sleep pattern database. The SPA system is also configured to receive transaction data for a transaction initiated by a consumer with a merchant. The SPA system is further configured to match the consumer identifier to the registered user identifier, generate a fraud notification message when the transaction time stamp overlaps with the at least one sleep time stamp, and transmit the fraud notification message to at least one of an issuer, the merchant, and the consumer associated with the consumer identifier.

CONTEXTUAL PAYMENT AND ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT INFRASTRUCTURE

A computerized method for providing an interactive graphical user interface (GUI) to a user on a display of a mobile device. The method interacts with the user to obtain information about a first payment account and a second payment account. The method aggregates parameters of the first payment account and the second payment account on a unified GUI on the mobile device. The method further monitors transactions of the first payment account and the second payment account. When a particular transaction conducted by the first payment account includes parameters associated with the second payment, the method identifies that particular transaction and presents a confirmation GUI screen to the user to confirm using the second payment account instead.
