User verification for credential device

A method for verification of a bearer of a credential device at a device reader is described. The method comprises first establishing a digital communication channel with the credential device, and then determining a set of verification options for the bearer and providing the set of verification options to the credential device over the digital communication channel. The credential device then selects a verification option from the set of verification options and communicates this to the device reader. The device reader can then verify the bearer of the credential device in accordance with the selected verification option. Methods at both the credential device and the device reader are described, as are suitably programmed credential devices and device readers.

A sale data processing device includes a member storage memory configured to store input member specification information, and a processor configured to determine whether or not an acquired sale target is a sale target to be sold only to only a member, on the basis of specification information for specifying the sale target. The processor is configured to execute a settlement process related to the sale target only when the sale target is a sale target to be sold to only a member and the member information is stored in the member storage memory.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR EXECUTING REAL-TIME ELECTRONIC TRANSACTIONS USING API CALLS

Systems and methods of executing a real-time electronic transaction by a real-time transaction system are disclosed. One method includes receiving, by an application programing interface (API) system, an electronic transaction request from a user. The API system may transmit the electronic transaction request to a choreographer system. The choreographer system may transmit a validation API call based on the electronic transaction request to an account system. The account system may determine whether an account associated with the electronic transaction request exists in the real-time transaction system. The choreographer system may transmit an authorization API call based on the electronic transaction request to an authorization system. The choreographer system may receive an authorization response from the authorization system. The choreographer system may transmit an electronic transaction request message to at least one of a routing engine, an account ledger system, an audit system, and/or a transaction system.

Decentralized shipping network using blockchains

Technologies are shown for shipping route selection involving receiving sender and recipient shipping information for an item to be shipped and obtaining shipping route options for the item based on the sender and recipient shipping information. The route options are provided for display and selection of an option. A routing data block is created for the item at an address on a blockchain that stores shipping information for each stage of the selected route. A shipping tag is encoded with the blockchain address and attached to the item. The tag can be scanned to obtain the blockchain address and request information for a next stage of the shipping route from the block. The next shipping information from the block is received and utilized to ship the item to a next geolocation. The next shipping information can be determined based on current conditions, such as weather, pricing and availability.

HARDWARE DEVICE FOR ENTERING A PIN VIA TAPPING ON A TOUCH SCREEN DISPLAY
20220253850 · 2022-08-11 · ·

A device and associated methods for entering a PIN via tapping are disclosed. The device can be configured to determine a number of taps provided by a PIN holder on a touch sensor in representation of a PIN digit and to store the number of taps as a digit in a sequence that represents the PIN. Indications for interaction with the device can be provided to PIN holders in the form of auditory cues. A visually impaired PIN holder may be able to complete a PIN entry process by following the indications for interaction, tapping on a touch sensor a number of times equal to the value of the digit of the PIN to be entered, and performing gestures mapped to commands for the device.

SERVICE PROCESSING METHOD AND APPARATUS

Implementations of the present specification provide a service processing method. The method is performed by a service platform, the service platform including multiple area sites corresponding to multiple service areas, and each area site including a corresponding buyer service site and seller service site. The method includes: splitting a whole-order service into a buyer service and a seller service; further, on one hand, routing the buyer service to a buyer service site in a service area that a corresponding buyer belongs to, for the buyer service site to process the buyer service through interconnection with the buyer based on an area user identifier, and to locally store processed data, where the area user identifier is determined based on multiple area identities associated with a domain-wide identity corresponding to the buyer; and on the other hand, routing the seller service to a seller service site in a service area that a corresponding seller belongs to, for the seller service site to process the seller service through interconnection with the seller, and to locally store processed data.

SYSTEM FOR CORRELATING ANONYMIZED UNIQUE IDENTIFERS
20220245644 · 2022-08-04 ·

According to an embodiment of the disclosure, an improved computers system stores unique identifiers. The system associates requirement information with the unique identifier and associates transaction risk information associated with the unique identifier. The system further stores information on available assets. The system calculates the degree of similarity between the requested assets characteristics and available assets characteristics to yield match scores. The system provides access to the list of matches for an authenticated user associated with the unique entity identifier along with the transaction risk information associated with the unique identifiers.

DATA COMMUNICATIONS PROTOCOL PLATFORM

A computer program product comprising computer-readable code embodied in a non-transitory computer-readable storage medium which, when executed by one or more processors of a computing device, causes the computing device to perform a method comprising obtaining share portfolio information for one or more shareholders from a broker database, obtaining proxy voting requirements from at least one share issuer, receiving shareholder preference data from the one or more shareholders, generating proxy vote recommendations based on the share portfolio information, proxy voting requirements and the shareholder preference data, and providing the proxy vote recommendations to an interactive graphical interface of a shareholder access point using Application Programming Interface (API).

Validating transactions using information transmitted through magnetic fields

The technology described in this document can be embodied in a method that includes receiving, at one or more servers from a first computing device, (i) authentication information identifying a user-account associated with (a) the first computing device or (b) an application executing on the first computing device, and (ii) a transaction identifier generated by a second computing device. The transaction identifier is obtained by the first computing device by detecting one or more parameters of a magnetic field generated by the second computing device. The method also includes determining, by the one or more servers, that the user-account is authorized to initiate a transaction identified by the transaction identifier, and in response to determining that the user-account is authorized to initiate the transaction, transmitting, from the one or more servers to the second computing device, confirmation information usable by the second computing device to proceed with the transaction.

Provisioning of an individual computing device via ATM

An automated teller machine (ATM) is provided. The ATM includes a network interface. The ATM includes an authentication circuit configured to receive data indicative of an interaction with the ATM by a user, detect that an individual computing device is in proximity to the ATM, determine that the individual computing device is not associated with a financial account, display a prompt comprising instructions to bind the individual computing device of the user to the financial account, receive data comprising a unique identifier of the individual computing device of the user, bind the individual computing device to the financial account based at least in part on the received unique identifier of the individual computing device of the user, and transmit, to the individual computing device, an application authorization, the application authorization authorizing an application to complete operations associated with the financial account via the bound individual computing device of the user.
