Vehicle identity access management
A vehicle includes a controller, programmed to responsive to identifying a first user via a mobile device, load a first non-person entity associated with the first user from the mobile device to configure vehicle settings, the first non-person entity including a driver setting, a first entertainment setting and a second entertainment setting; and responsive to identifying a second user entering the vehicle, switch from the first entertainment setting to a second entertainment setting.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR PAYMENTS VIA TEXT MESSAGES
A system and method for sending and receiving payments via messages are provided. The methods include utilizing a transaction server loaded with a chatbot. Payment can occur via a message exchange with the chatbot and a user’s mobile phone.
Authentication for third party digital wallet provisioning
Various embodiments are directed to securely verifying an identity of a user who is requesting to add or link a financial instrument to a third-party digital wallet using one-tap contactless card authentication. The financial instrument may be added or linked to the third-party wallet in at least two scenarios: pull provisioning and push provisioning. In either provisioning scenarios, the user may be required to authenticate the financial instrument being added or linked by successfully verifying the identity of the user via the one-tap contactless card authentication at a banking application associated with the financial instrument.
TRANSACTION SEQUENCE MODELING FOR FRAUD DETECTION
The probabilities of transitioning between states of a given transaction sequence for a given transaction are calculated and a non-fraud score is calculated from the probabilities. The non-fraud score is provided to a fraud-detection system for determining whether the transaction sequence is more likely or less likely to be associated with fraud.
Method and apparatus for mobile rental of vehicles
A system for rental of vehicles stores reservation information for a customer reservation of a rental vehicle, including a scheduled pickup time and pickup location for the rental vehicle. The system receives information from the customer's a mobile device, including image information and location information. When the customer arrives at the rental pickup location, the system prompts the customer to use the mobile device to capture and upload an image of the customer's driver's license, a current image of the customer, and location information for confirming that the customer image was captured at the rental pickup location. The system displays the uploaded driver's license image, the uploaded customer image and the stored reservation information to an operator to verify the identity of the customer before the customer is approved to pick up the rental vehicle.
System For Deterring Unauthorized Access To An Account Associated With An Online Ordering Platform
A system and a method for deterring unauthorized access to an account. The method includes the steps of receiving a user login request from one of a plurality of account holder computers, then identifying a username associated with the received user login request, a time associated with the received user login request, and an internet protocol (IP) address associated with the received user login request. The method and system determine a number of prior login requests received from the identified IP address during a duration of time T.sub.R prior to the identified time. Each of the received login requests has a unique username that is different than the identified username. The method includes the step of disabling access to the account associated with the identified username when the determined number of received login requests is above a request threshold B.
Computerized method, communication system and computer programs for efficient handling of mobile commerce
A computerized method (200) of performing a purchase and an associated communication system are disclosed. A customer mobile computing device (CMCD) communicates (210) with a server computing device (SCD) to generate an order for the purchase. The server computing device (SCD) communicates (220) with a payment processor computing device (PPCD) to perform a first part of a payment transaction for the purchase, wherein the first part of the payment transaction involves reserving funds for the purchase. A merchant computing device (MCD) performs (230) a digital handshake procedure with the customer mobile computing device (CMCD). The digital handshake procedure involves short-range wireless data communication to verify spatial proximity between the customer mobile computing device (CMCD) and the merchant computing device (MCD). When spatial proximity has been verified, the merchant computing device (MCD) communicates (240) with the server computing device (SCD) to accept the order. The server computing device (SCD) communicates (250) with the payment processor computing device (PPCD) to perform a second part of the payment transaction, wherein the second part of the payment transaction involves capturing funds for the purchase.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS TO ADJUST IN-VEHICLE CONTENT BASED ON DIGITAL ASSETS
System and method to adjust in-vehicle content based on digital assets are described herein. Exemplary implementations include: receive authentication information for a user; determine whether the authentication information is valid; determine, responsive to determination that the authentication information is valid, a set of one or more digital assets that are associated with an address included in a digital wallet of the user based on transactions recorded on a decentralized ledger such that the user owns the set of the one or more digital assets, wherein the transactions includes the address and the set of the one or more digital assets, wherein the digital wallet includes a private key that provides the user with access to consideration sent to the address; determine a set of one or more content correlated to the set of the one or more digital assets, wherein the content is stored in electronic storage; and adjust in-vehicle content based on the one or more digital assets and the correlated set of one or more content.
SYSTEM FOR FLEXIBLE DATA ROUTING BASED ON INTERACTIONS OF A RESOURCE INSTRUMENT AND REMOTE SYSTEM
Embodiments of the invention are directed to systems, methods, and computer program products for flexible data routing of transactions using a single resource instrument. As such, the system results in increased flexibility of resource transfers by enabling a user to establish a virtual link between an account and a resource instrument not originally associated with said account. The user may then complete a transaction using a preferred account, despite the preferred resource instrument being not accepted or otherwise ineffective at a particular merchant. Furthermore, the system may activate data routing requests in real-time, allowing a user to rapidly complete a transaction from any location.
INTRA TRANSACTION ITEM-BASED SEQUENCE MODELING FOR FRAUD DETECTION
The probabilities of transitioning between item states for a given item sequence of a given transaction are calculated and item non-fraud scores are calculated from the probabilities for each item of the given transaction. The item non-fraud scores for the items of the transaction are provided to a fraud-detection system for determining whether any of the item non-fraud scores is more likely or less likely to be associated with sweethearting fraud by a cashier that performed the transaction.
