Augmented reality dynamic authentication
A system for performing authorization of a user in an augmented reality environment comprises an augmented reality user device, an automatic teller machine, and an authentication server. The automatic teller machine has a keypad with unmarked buttons. The augmented reality user device includes a display configured to overlay virtual objects onto a field of view of a user. The augmented reality user device receives a virtual keypad overlay, which assigns values to the unmarked buttons of the keypad. Using the overlay, the augmented reality user device displays the assigned values on the buttons of the keypad. The automatic teller machine detects an input sequence entered on the keypad and sends the input sequence to the authentication server. The authentication server determines an authentication code by combining the input sequence with the virtual keypad overlay, and compares the determined authentication code with an authentication code stored in a database.
Hardware device for entering a pin via tapping on a touch screen display
A device and associated methods for entering a PIN via tapping are disclosed. The device can be configured to determine a number of taps provided by a PIN holder on a touch sensor in representation of a PIN digit and to store the number of taps as a digit in a sequence that represents the PIN. Indications for interaction with the device can be provided to PIN holders in the form of auditory cues. A visually impaired PIN holder may be able to complete a PIN entry process by following the indications for interaction, tapping on a touch sensor a number of times equal to the value of the digit of the PIN to be entered, and performing gestures mapped to commands for the device.
Method of providing sale-related information and electronic device using the same
According to various example embodiments, a method of providing order-related information by an electronic device may include obtaining order information on or regarding a purchase item and customer information corresponding to the order information, transmitting the order information and the customer information to an external device, receiving, from the external device, sale-related information on or regarding a sales item that corresponds to the purchase item and is for sale by the customer, and providing at least some of the order information and the sale-related information on a first page.
Token processing with selective de-tokenization for proximity based access device interactions
A method includes providing an initial communication, by an access device to a user device. The access device can receive the user identifier and the access token and receive a secret associated with the user. The access device can determine, using the user identifier and/or the access token, if the transaction is authorized by an authorizing entity computer associated with the access device or by an authorizing entity not associated with the access device. If the transaction is authorized by the authorizing entity computer associated with the access device, the access device can transmit an authorization request message comprising the user identifier, the secret, and the access token to the authorizing entity computer. The authorizing entity computer validates the secret, retrieves a real credential of the user using the user identifier, and authorizes the transaction.
Blockchain-based transaction kiosk
The systems and methods described herein provide for facilitating in-person payments at a transaction kiosk. First, the system provides an authentication interface for display at a network-enabled transaction kiosk. A user is authenticated at the kiosk via the authentication interface, and based on that authentication, the system detects a payment application and a payment request corresponding to the user, wherein the payment application is associated with a service provider and the payment request was created with the payment application. Next, the system identifies a user interface scheme associated with the payment application, and then updates the user interface for display at the transaction kiosk to match the user interface scheme, then initiates a blockchain payment based on the payment request.
METHOD, MEDIUM, AND SYSTEM FOR REDUCING FRAUD
Techniques for reducing fraud are disclosed. A transaction request is received from a user to perform a transaction using an account. In one approach, a source icon is displayed prior to executing the request. The source icon includes a graphical representation of an owner of the account. In another approach, at least one of a photograph and a voice of the user is recorded prior to executing the request. In a third approach, the user is informed that at least one of a photograph, a voice print, and location data will be taken prior to executing the transaction request.
TRANSACTION AUTHORISATION
There is discussed a method of authorising an electronic transaction in which a user device receives a shared secret and a shared secret identifier. Subsequently, on receipt of transaction data from a transaction terminal, the user device calculates a one-way hash of data comprising the shared secret to generate a hash value, generates authentication data comprising the hash value and the shared secret identifier, and transmits the authentication data to the transaction terminal.
Systems and Methods for Authenticating Users with Reduced Messaging
A computer-implemented method for enhancing payment transaction authentication using a merchant loyalty scheme is provided. The method is implemented using a verification computer device in communication with a memory. The method includes receiving an authentication request message for a payment transaction originating from an originating merchant for a cardholder. The authentication request message includes a reward redemption flag. The method also includes determining that an authentication challenge is needed based on the authentication request message, transmitting an authentication challenge to the user if the reward redemption flag is not set, determining that the authentication challenge may be bypassed based on the reward redemption flag if the reward redemption flag is set, generating an authentication response message based, at least in part, on at least one of reward redemption flag and the authentication challenge, and transmitting the authentication response message to the originating merchant.
METHOD AND SYSTEM, DEVICE AND PAYMENT TERMINAL USING PERSONAL DATA
The invention relates to an electronic transaction method for a system comprising a user-associated payment device 3 or 4 and a payment terminal 1. The payment device 3 or 4 and the payment terminal 1 perform a cryptographic key exchange 500 before performing a transaction step 501. The payment device includes personal information PI about the user. The payment terminal includes a transaction policy including a condition relative to the personal information Pi. The method includes a verification step 510, 520, 530, prior to the transaction step 501, for securely verifying the condition of the transaction policy relative to the personal information using the cryptographic key.
METHOD FOR PROVING DIGITAL ASSETS OF TRANSACTION PLATFORM
Example embodiments relate to methods of proving digital assets. The method includes identifying users on an asset transaction platform. The method includes generating a snapshot for each identified user at a first time. Each snapshot includes a user identity and user assets amount for the user at the first time. The user assets amount is a total amount of digital assets held by the user on the asset transaction platform at the first time. The method includes transforming each snapshot into a string combined hash value. Each string combined hash value is generated by hashing one of the snapshots of the user identity and the user assets amount for the first time. The method includes generating a merkle tree. The merkle tree includes a leaf node for each of the string combined hash values. The method includes performing an audit process of the asset transaction platform for the first time.
