Embodiments provide methods and systems for analyzing device behavior data in multi-factor authentication (MFA) process. The method includes receiving, by a server system, a request in association with a payment transaction between a cardholder and a merchant. The request includes a cardholder identifier and information of a successful verification of a user input entered by the cardholder to perform MFA of the payment transaction. The method includes identifying user profile data stored in a database based on the cardholder identifier. The user profile data includes information of a plurality of registered user devices associated with the cardholder. The method includes performing device behavioral analysis of one or more user devices. The method includes generating an MFA token associated with the payment transaction based on the device behavioral analysis. The method includes transmitting the MFA token for authorizing the payment transaction to a payment server associated with a payment network.

PASSWORDLESS AUTHENTICATION THROUGH USE OF DEVICE TOKENS OR WEB BROWSER COOKIES

There is provided systems and methods for passwordless authentication through use of device tokens or web browser cookies. A user may enter into a checkout process with a merchant for a transaction requiring electronic transaction processing with a service provider. The checkout process may be performed prior to or without the user having previously established an account with the service provider for electronic transaction processing. The user may therefore provide user information, such as a name and financial information, and an account for the user may be established. To establish the account, the user is not required to enter a password, and the password is automatically set by the service provider. The service provider may then establish a token on the user's device during transaction processing that later authenticates the device for use of the account during future transaction processing when the token is received.

Facilitating authentication includes providing a first page to a user interface based on an order received from a merchant page. Payment details are received from the first page for a first level of authentication and a second page is provided to the user interface for a second level of authentication. The second page is provided while keeping the first page open in the user interface with the payment details populated therein. A transaction result status is received from a payment-processing infrastructure based on the first and second level of authentication. When the transaction result status indicates failure, a modified first page is created to include the payment details previously populated for an online payment and at least one of a retry button and a field indicating a reason for transaction failure.

Systems, methods, and computer-readable media for managing credentials are provided. In one example embodiment, a method may include terminating the functionality of a security domain element on an electronic device, communicatively coupling the electronic device to a trusted service manager of the security domain element, and, after the terminating, communicating data from the electronic device to the communicatively coupled trusted service manager, wherein the communicated data is usable by the trusted service manager to determine a stored value of the security domain element. Additional embodiments are also provided.

NOTIFICATIONS AND SUBSCRIPTIONS FOR A DEVICE NEWS APPLICATION

A method of providing subscription for a news channel by a news application of an electronic device is provided. The method displays a summary list of a set of articles from a news channel. The summary list includes an article that requires a subscription to the news channel in order to display the article. The method receives a selection to display the full article. The method determines that the device does not include a subscription to the news channel. The method displays a subscription offer by the news application. The subscription offer is optionally provided by a publisher of the news channel.

ADAPTABLE QR CODES TO LAUNCH CUSTOMIZED EXPERIENCES

Systems, computer-implemented methods, apparatus, and/or computer program products that can facilitate adaptable QR codes to launch customized experiences are provided. In various embodiments, a system can receive, from a client device, a quick response (QR) code, a client identifier, and location data associated with the client device. In various aspects, the system can identify, from a plurality of merchants, a first merchant that corresponds to the QR code, based on identifying that the first merchant corresponds to the location data. In various instances, the system can identify, from a plurality of client profiles, a first client profile that corresponds to the client identifier. In various cases, the system can identify a digital content based on the first merchant and the first client profile. In various aspects, the system can cause the digital content to be provided to the client device.

METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR REAL TIME FRAUD DECISIONING IN TRANSACTION PROCESSING

A computer-implemented method comprising: intercepting, from an output of fraudulent activity determination software, an electronic transaction message; reading by a processing device, the intercepted message; detecting, that the received electronic transaction message includes a data field comprising a fraud-related decline code; updating, by the processing device, the received electronic message by replacing the fraud-related decline code with a hold code; generating, based upon the detection of the fraud-related decline code, at least one authentication request message configured to prompt at least one of a point of sale device and a user mobile device that authentication data is to be input by a user; transmitting, by a transmitting device and to the point of sale device, the updated electronic transaction message; and transmitting, by the transmitting device and to at least one of the point of sale device and a user mobile device, the at least one authentication request message.
