Symbols to indicate which ATM to use
A system and method are disclosed in which a symbol associated with an ATM of a plurality of ATMs is made available to a customer in response to a request for access to the ATM. The symbol identifies the ATM to the user in locations having multiple ATMs, thus avoiding confusion for the user. The symbol may be used for any of the possible transactions between the user and the ATM, such as balance inquiries, deposits, transfers, and cash withdrawals.
SYSTEM AND METHODS FOR ENHANCED PAYMENT AUTHENTICATION USING MERCHANT LOYALTY SCHEME
A computer-implemented method for enhancing payment transaction authentication using a merchant loyalty scheme is provided. The method is implemented using a verification computer device in communication with a memory. The method includes receiving an authentication request message for a payment transaction originating from an originating merchant for a cardholder. The authentication request message includes a reward redemption flag. The method also includes determining that an authentication challenge is needed based on the authentication request message, transmitting an authentication challenge to the user if the reward redemption flag is not set, determining that the authentication challenge may be bypassed based on the reward redemption flag if the reward redemption flag is set, generating an authentication response message based, at least in part, on at least one of reward redemption flag and the authentication challenge, and transmitting the authentication response message to the originating merchant.
Systems and methods for account ownership verification
Embodiments described herein disclose methods and systems for authenticating ownership of an account in real-time or near real-time so that a user can fund or open a new account without waiting for several days. The system enables an operator to select one or more methods for authentication from a group of candidate schemes. The candidate schemes include (1) a card-association-network scheme; (2) an account-aggregation scheme; and (3) a credit-bureau-integration scheme.
System and method for third-party food and dining ordering control
A system and method for third-party food and dining ordering control, comprising at least one device capable of accessing the internet which may be a mobile device or personal computing device such as a laptop or desktop, a web application, and a point-of-sale system at a restaurant or retailer, wherein users of the web application may deposit funds into an account and set regulations on what they may purchase with the deposited funds, or have an administrator set up an account for them such as a parent setting up an account for a child or a doctor setting up an account for a patient, allowing the parent or doctor or other administrator to regulate what the sub-user such as the child or patient may purchase, in keeping with budget, diet, and lifestyle restrictions, and which may utilize zero-step authentication to allow for seamless use of the service at certain establishments.
System and method for facilitating transfer of electronic payment information
In a method for transferring payment account information, a payment information transfer request is received from an account holder device associated with a first provider account. A list of payees to which electronic payments have been made from the first provider account is transmitted to the account holder device for display to the account holder and a user selection of at least one selected payee from the list of one or more payees is received from the account holder device. A payment account information data file is assembled in a predetermined data format, the file including payment account information for each selected payee. The payment account information data file is then transmitted to at least one of the set consisting of the account holder device and an information processing system of a second account provider.
Blockchain compliance verification network
An example operation includes one or more of capturing message content from messages between a sender and receiver which comprise information about a transfer of value from the sender to the receiver, detecting information about a compliance check within the message content which indicates whether the transfer of value complies with jurisdictional regulations, and recording the message content including the detected information about the compliance check via a blockchain.
Methods and systems for routing transactions between automated teller machines, points of sale, financial institutions, and software wallets
A system and method for routing ATM transactions. A transaction request is received at an external application programming interface (API) associated with an account holder. The external API runs on a first processor. The transaction request is validated and authorized at the external API. Information about the transaction is forwarded from the external API to an internal API associated with an automated teller machine (ATM). The internal API runs on a second processor. A unique identifier is generated for the transaction request and provided to a user. The unique identifier is received from the user at the ATM without the user presenting any card and without connecting a mobile device of the user to the ATM. The unique identifier is provided from the ATM to the internal API to confirm a validity of the transaction. The transaction is implemented at the ATM by either dispensing cash or accepting a deposit.
Predictive contextual transaction scoring
In one embodiment, a predictive contextual transaction scoring system receives transaction review data associated with person-to-person transactions from a marketplace, the transaction review data including feedback information relating to the person-to-person transaction. The system identifies contextual characteristics of the person-to-person transactions by analyzing the feedback information related to the person-to-person transactions. The system pairs a first party requesting a service to a second party providing the requested service by matching a contextual characteristic of the first party to a contextual characteristic of the second party. The system also predicts a transaction score for a new person-to-person transaction involving the first party and the second party, and provides the predicted transaction score to the marketplace to facilitate pairing of the first party requesting the service.
Systems, media, and methods applying machine learning to telematics data to generate vehicle fingerprint
Described herein are systems and methods for applying machine learning to telematics data to generate a unique vehicle fingerprint by periodically receiving telematics data generated at a plurality of sensors of a vehicle; standardizing the telematics data; aggregating the standardized telematics data; applying a trained machine learning model to embed the aggregated telematics data into a low-dimensional state; and generating a unique vehicle fingerprint, the vehicle fingerprint comprising a static component, a dynamic component, or both a static component and a dynamic component; including iterative repetition to update the dynamic component of the vehicle fingerprint.
OBTAINING AN ADDITIONAL EXCHANGE ITEM DURING A TRANSACTION UTILIZING AN EXCHANGE ITEM
A method for execution by a marketplace server includes receiving an exchange item acquisition request from a buyer computing device that is initiating a transaction with a point of sale device, where the request indicates an exchange item associated with a digital wallet of the buyer computing device is insufficient to complete the transaction during a first time period. The method further includes determining whether a second exchange item that would be sufficient to complete the transaction is available within a virtual marketplace of exchange items. When the second exchange item is unavailable, the method further includes exchanging new exchange item information with a corresponding brand server to obtain a new exchange item that is sufficient for completing the transaction. The method further includes issuing the new exchange item information to the buyer computing device, wherein the buyer computing device utilizes the new exchange item information to complete the transaction.
