AUTHORIZING RADIO REQUENCY TRANSACTIONS USING A VASCULAR SCAN
A method for registering biometric information for use in a transponder-reader system is disclosed. The method includes steps of detecting, verifying and storing a proffered biometric sample. During detecting, a sensor detects a proffered biometric to obtain a biometric sample. During the verifying step, the biometric sample is compared with other stored samples and/or other information. During the storing step, the biometric sample is stored on a database, for use by the transponder-reader system in authorizing transactions.
Systems and methods for dynamic passphrases
Systems, devices, methods, and computer readable media are provided in various embodiments relating to generating a dynamic challenge passphrase data object. The method includes establishing, a plurality of data record clusters, representing a mutually exclusive set of structured data records of an individual, ranking the plurality of feature data fields based on a determined contribution value of each feature data field relative to the establishing of the data record cluster, and identifying, using the ranked plurality of feature data fields, a first and a second feature data field of the plurality of feature data fields. The method includes generating the dynamic challenge passphrase data object, wherein the first or the second feature data field is used to establish a statement string portion, and a remaining one of the first or the second feature data field is used to establish a question string portion and a correct response string.
INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS, INFORMATION PROCESSING SYSTEM, INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD, AND NON-TRANSITORY STORAGE MEDIUM
In order to solve the above-described problem, there is provided a self-service POS device (10) including an acquisition unit (11) that acquires a captured image obtained by capturing at least one of a customer involved in an operation of reading product information, a product involved in the reading operation, and a store clerk involved in the reading operation, and a captured image display unit (12) that displays the captured image on a display faced toward the customer.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR SECURE TRANSACTIONS
A system may transmit a time-based token to the merchant device. The system may receive a second merchant session key, a customer session key, a customer ID, a customer device certificate, and a second transaction amount from a customer device. The system may further match the first merchant session key to the second merchant session key, and transmit the time-based token to the customer device in response to the first merchant session key matching the second merchant session key.
FRAUD PREVENTION SECURITY SYSTEM
Disclosed herein are system, method, and computer program product embodiments for credit card fraud prevention. An embodiment operates by a credit card terminal capturing an interaction of a credit card with the credit card terminal and reading data stored on the credit card. The credit card terminal then transmits the data to a controller. Upon receipt of the data by the controller, the controller transmits an activation signal to a camera to capture media of a user who interacted the credit card with the credit card terminal. Once the media is captured, the controller transmits both the captured media and the data to a financial institution for security measures. Then, a message is received from the financial institution regarding the security measures, wherein the type of the message either authorizes the transaction or takes appropriate action regarding the transaction.
SYSTEM FOR CONTROL OF SECURE ACCESS AND COMMUNICATION WITH DIFFERENT PROCESS DATA NETWORKS WITH SEPARATE SECURITY FEATURES
A distributed block chain network having at least a private block chain portion, and in some cases a public block chain portion, allows users to take actions (e.g., accessing, viewing, storing, disseminating, validating, or the like) with respect to event information associated with events. In some aspects of the invention the distributed block chain network with the private block chain portion may be utilized to verify events and separate the private information associated with the events from the public information associated with the events. As such, the present invention provides systems for centralized control of secure access to process data networks by utilizing a private block chain; and moreover, provide systems for control of secure access and communication with different process data networks with different security requirements by utilizing one or more block chains with private block chain portions and/or public block chain portions.
System, method and apparatus for resource access control
A system, method and apparatus for resource access control. An authorization record is created when a requestor has been authorized to access a resource, the authorization record created from an authorization event template stored on an authorization blockchain network. The authorization resource comprises one or more conditions that must generally be true in order for the user to access the resource. The authorization record may additionally comprise one or more permissions for the user to manage the resource.
Systems, methods, and devices for integrating a first party service into a second party computer application
Systems, methods, and devices for integrating a first party service into a second party computer application are disclosed. In one embodiment, in a financial institution comprising at least one computer processor, a method for integrating a financial services payment service into a merchant computer application may include (1) receiving customer electronic device information from a customer electronic device using a first communication channel; (2) transmitting a passcode to the customer electronic device using a second communication channel; (3) receiving the passcode from the customer electronic device over the first communication channel; (4) sending a session identifier to electronic device over first communication channel; (5) receiving the session identifier from a merchant host; and (6) sending an authentication value to a merchant host. The merchant host may provide the authentication value to the customer electronic device.
Intelligent agent adding ease of use and security for mobile device for facilitating and payment for multiple mode transportation
The invention relates to a method and system for booking reservations in a booking system and synchronizing bookings among several booking systems. The system comprises at least one booking system; at least one service provider; a mediator service; a client, and at least one client terminal device that can be a mobile device and that includes a dialogue. The client uses the dialogue to enter information into the system and the mediator receives inquiries and answers from the at least one booking system, the at least one service provider, and the at least one client. The mediator transfers and adapts information between them. The method and system are particularly suited for use with mobile phone users by Small Message Service messages.
Security device, method and system for financial transactions, based on the identification of an individual using a biometric profile and a smart card
The invention relates to an innovative device which is used to secure payments or transactions made with a smart card and to validate the identity of the smart card holder using a client/server biometric control operation, regardless of whether said payments or transactions are made directly at a point of sale or from a PC (personal computer or shared open-access computer) which is connected to the Internet or using a mobile telephone, a portable computer (also known as a laptop), a PDA (Personal Device Assistant) or any other mobile or fixed means that can connect to any telecommunication network and carry out a transaction involving the use of biometrics at the transaction generation point. The invention also relates to smart-card-holding employees of financial institutions who perform professional inter-bank transfers. The invention can also be used for the electronic transfer of funds between states, between groups of states, between groups of states and states and between international organizations and states. The invention has been designed in the form of a client/server-type system for authenticating the identity of a smart card holder, based on the use of the smart card and on the identification of the holder by means of biometric data which are stored on an extended memory smart card and compared with biometric data from an external, remote database that is secured and operated by the third-party authentication server or by the financial institution, but which, for reasons of security and performance, are not transferred over the telecommunication network.
