METHOD FOR VALIDATING ELECTRONIC TRANSACTIONS
A computer system is configured to authenticate the identity of a user who is attempting to access a website or conduct a transaction. The system is configured to receive a geographical location associated with the user and to receive the geographical location of a mobile phone associated with the user, and to determine whether the two geographical locations are within an acceptable distance.
METHODS OF AUTHENTICATING THE IDENTITY OF A COMPUTER
A method for authenticating a user prior to allowing a transaction or access to a website, in which the user's computer is identified via a recognized computer signature that is associated with a geographical location. The location of the user's cell phone is compared to the associated location, and the transaction or access is permitted if the difference in locations is within a predetermined acceptable distance.
Encryption system, encryption key wallet and method
An encryption system for encrypting data of a party, wherein the party is provided with an encryption key wallet and one or more encryption keys of the encryption key wallet are identifiable using at least one reference code. The encryption key wallet is opened for accessing an encryption key via its reference code, for encrypting data to generate corresponding encrypted data and/or for decrypting encrypted data to generate corresponding decrypted data, wherein the encryption key is reproducibly generated by the encryption key wallet. When the encryption system enables exchange of encrypted data via the encryption system between two or more parties the two or more parties are provided with the encryption key wallet; data exchanged between the parties are encrypted using one or more encryption keys obtained from the encryption key wallet; and the encryption key wallet is opened for use when encrypting and/or decrypting the data exchanged between the parties.
Method and System for Asynchronous Mobile Payments for Multiple In-Person Transactions Conducted in Parallel
A mobile consumer device with a display, processor(s), and memory: identifies a merchant device in proximity to the consumer device based on broadcasted information transmitted by the first merchant device, the broadcasted information including a first identifier corresponding to the first merchant device; transmits the first identifier to a server and receives from the server an electronic communication including identification and transaction information associated with the merchant; displays the identification information, receives user selection of the merchant identification information; and in response, displays the merchant transaction information, receives supplemental user information, and transmits the supplemental transaction information to the server for completion of the transaction.
LOCATION DETECTION BASED ON IP ADDRESSES AND TRANSACTIONS
A method is disclosed. The method includes: obtaining, from a management application, a login history including timestamps and internet protocol (IP) addresses corresponding to logins by a user; obtaining coordinates for the IP addresses; determining clusters for the coordinates based on distances between the coordinates; and determining primary locations for the user based on the clusters and the timestamps.
RESOURCE TRANSFER METHOD, FUND PAYMENT METHOD, AND ELECTRONIC DEVICE
A face image of a resource transferor is obtained, wherein the face image is used to authenticate an identity of the resource transferor. Resource transfer identification information of the resource transferor is obtained, wherein the resource transfer identification information corresponds to a transferor account of the resource transferor. Based on the resource transfer identification information, information about the transferor account and a reference image corresponding to the transferor account are obtained. In response to determining that the face image corresponds to the reference image, a resource of the resource transferor is transferred based on the information about the transferor account.
Systems and methods for initiating payment from a client device
The disclosed embodiments include a mobile client device for automatically performing a mobile financial service function, including a memory storing software instructions, the software instructions including a mobile financial service application configured to perform financial service processes. The system may also include and one or more processors configured to execute the software instructions to detect a physical action performed on the mobile client device, and determine a first financial service function to perform based on the detected physical action, wherein the first financial service function is a function provided by the mobile financial service application. The one or more processors may also determine whether verification of a user is required, verify the user if verification of the user is required, and automatically initiate the first financial service function.
EVENT NOTIFICATIONS FOR MULTIPLE SERVICES
Methods, computer-readable storage media and apparatuses for processing event notifications are disclosed. For example, a processor receives an event notification of an event from a device of a service provider that is providing a service to a user, wherein the network service provider is distinct from the service provider, determines that the service provider and the event are of a type of service provider and a type of event, respectively, that the user has consented to receive the event notification, sends a message in a unified message format to a device of the user, the message comprising the event, receives a response from the device of the user containing an indication of whether the event is an authorized event, and sends the indication of whether the event is an authorized event to the device of the service provider.
Haptic interaction
A web site map of an external site, including information permitting determination of at least one pertinent location on the site, is obtained at a rules engine. At least one rule specifying peripheral behavior in a region adjacent the at least one pertinent location on the site is also obtained at the engine. Furthermore, an indication that a peripheral device corresponding to the at least one rule is being used to browse the site is also obtained at the engine. Instructions corresponding to the at least one rule specifying the peripheral behavior in the region adjacent the at least one pertinent location on the site are dispatched from the rules engine to the peripheral device. The instructions are configured to cause a stimulus to a user of the peripheral device prior to the user attempting to consummate an action on the web site.
Methods and system for real-time fraud decisioning based upon user-defined valid activity location data
A computer-implemented method for real-time fraudulent activity verification, comprising: displaying, on a user device, a first notification which prompts entry of a user-selected geographic area, the user-selected geographic area defining a valid region for processing of transactions associated with a user; receiving, by the user device, user-defined geographic data, the user-defined geographic data specifying at least one user-selected geographic area and defining the valid region for processing of transactions; transmitting, by the user device, the user-defined geographic data along with user data, the user data identifying the user device or the user; receiving, the user device, a second notification, the second notification being an authentication request message received in response to a proposed transaction associated with a user identifier related to the user; displaying, by the user device, the second notification; receiving, by the user device, user-provided authentication data; and transmitting, by the user device, the user-provided authentication data.
