Systems and methods for validating an instrument
Disclosed are methods and systems for validating instruments. For instance, a request to generate a cashier's check may be received from an application executing on a drawer's computing device. Request information may be stored within a data storage entry for the check, and a code to be printed on the check may be generated to include at least a portion of the request information. Instructions may be provided to a printing system to cause the check to be printed with the code, where the printed check is invalid. Instructions may be provided to the application and/or printing system to cause display of a prompt to facilitate a reading of the code to validate the check. When information within the code is read by and received from the printing system, the check may be validated, which triggers a transfer of funds from the drawer's account. Otherwise, the check may remain invalid.
Method and system for automated application of fuel discounts from carriers to contracted drivers
Receiving, at a server, an identifier from a user to authorize fuel payment at a fuel station. Associating the identifier with a carrier, the carrier being entitled to a fuel discount at the fuel station. Authorizing the fuel station to provide fuel to the user with the fuel discount, which may be variable. The identifier may be received from a mobile application, a company credit card, a personal credit card, a virtual credit card, and/or an onboard electronic logging device (ELD). The authorizing of the fuel station to provide fuel to the user with the fuel discount may be limited by an amount and/or a type of fuel. A system is provided that includes a receiver module, and a server, and a transmitter module. A non-transitory computer-readable medium storing a program for operating a fuel discount sharing application is provided.
Booking management system
A booking management system for secure authentication of payment information and delayed transaction processing is provided. Third-party services partner with booking management systems to aggregate and list offerings of the third-party services in a digestible display on a one-stop platform. A booking management system can manage the authentication of payment card information on behalf of any number of such third-party services. The booking management system may receive a delayed transaction request from one or more such third-party service. The booking management system may provide virtual payment information to the third-party services for delayed transactions. The third-party services may later initiate the delayed transactions using the virtual payment information, without being required to perform authentication processing on the payment card information maintained by the booking management system.
Chain of authentication using public key infrastructure
A method for sequential authentication based on chain of authentication using public key infrastructure (PKI) is provided. The method includes abutting a first wearable device belonging to a first party with a second wearable device belonging to a second party; transmitting, by the first wearable device, authentication information of the first party; verifying the authentication information of the first party; transmitting, by the second wearable device, authentication information of the second party; verifying the authentication information of the second party; authorizing electronic transaction in response to successfully verifying both the authentication information of the first party and the authentication information of the second party. Each of the authentication information of the first party and the authentication information of the second party includes information configured for authentication based on a public key infrastructure (PKI) certificate.
Methods and systems for voice command transaction authentication
The disclosure describes techniques for authenticating a voice command transaction initiated by a consumer at a voice-activated digital assistant. The system determine a proximity score for a consumer device. The proximity score is based on a distance between the consumer device and the digital assistant. The system detects motion indicating presence of a person proximate the digital assistant (based on wireless signal data) and determines a motion score. The system receives voice data from the digital assistant and determines a voice differentiation score. The system determines a rank score for the consumer device based on historical transaction data associated with the device. The system analyzes the proximity score, motion score, voice differentiation score, and rank score using a voice command authentication model. Based on the analysis, the system determines an authentication score for the voice command transaction request.
SYSTEM, APPARATUS, AND/OR METHOD FOR PROVIDING WIRELESS APPLICATIONS BASED ON LOCATIONING SOLUTIONS
In at least one embodiment, a system for enabling an electronic transaction for a purchase based on wireless communication is provided. The system includes at least one transceiver and an electronic authentication card. The electronic authentication card includes the at least one transceiver to initiate a purchase for a user. The electronic authentication card is programmed to wirelessly receive a plurality of wireless signals from at least one transmitter and process the plurality of wireless signals to generate first information indicative of a location of the electronic authentication card. The electronic authentication card is further programmed to wirelessly transmit the first information to a server and to wirelessly receive location coordinates from the server identifying the location of the electronic authentication card based on the first information.
ADJUSTMENT OF CARD CONFIGURATIONS FOR FLIGHT INTERRUPTIONS
Systems, apparatuses, and methods are described for adjustment of card configurations for flight interruptions. Past flight interruptions that users experienced may be determined. Transactions conducted via the users' payment cards during the past flight interruptions may be determined. The data may be used for determining customized metrics for adjusting card configurations of the payment cards during current flight interruptions. Default metrics for adjusting card configurations of the payment cards during current flight interruptions may be determined. Current flight statuses may be monitored for the users. Current flight interruptions may be detected for the users. Card configurations of the payment cards may be adjusted during the detected current flight interruptions.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR MULTI-FACTOR AUTHENTICATION USING DEVICE TRACKING AND IDENTITY VERIFICATION
Systems and methods are directed to a modified device configuration for disposing a NFC compatible user card within a NFC field of a user mobile device so as to enable continuous proximity monitoring based on a status of an NFC link established between the card and the mobile device. The modified device configuration may be utilized to implement card tracking functionality by using a mobile application, running on the mobile device, to generate a timestamp upon detection of change in a connectivity status of the NFC link to the card. The timestamp NFC connectivity data may then be paired with mobile device GPS coordinates, concurrently retrieved from one or more mobile GPS-based navigation applications, to facilitate card tracking functionality as well as multi-factor validation for electronic transactions initiated by the NFC compatible card and/or the mobile device.

A pre-disaster banking system including a mobile conditions monitoring center including a vehicle having a system controller including: a device processor and a non-transitory computer readable medium including instructions to perform the following steps: receiving location data from a personal electronic device of a user; receiving forecast data regarding a predicted disaster; making a first determination, based on the received location data and the received forecast data, that the personal electronic device is located in an area that is expected to be affected by the predicted disaster; receiving banking information for the user; making a second determination that the user is scheduled to receive a payroll deposit that could be affected by the predicted disaster; and determining, based on the first determination and the second determination, a banking transaction to be executed for the user at a predetermined time relative to the predicted time of occurrence of the predicted disaster.
Transaction authentication, authorization, and/or auditing utilizing subscriber-specific behaviors
Briefly, example methods, apparatuses, and/or articles of manufacture are disclosed that may be implemented, in whole or in part, using one or more computing devices to receive at a server device coupled to a communications network, a first signal indicating that a subscriber of a mobile device has initiated a transaction. The method may continue with accessing a data store to determine occurrence of one or more deterministic events with respect to the mobile device and accessing the data store to determine one or more behavior norms specific to the subscriber with respect to the mobile device. The method may additionally include generating, by the server coupled to the communications network, a second signal indicating an authorization status of the transaction, the authorization status being dependent on the occurrence of the one or more deterministic events in relation to the one or more behavior norms.
