INFORMATION SERVICE SYSTEM, INFORMATION SERVICE METHOD, AND PROGRAM
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information service system and the like that can notify useful information using location information to a user terminal that does not use a location-based service.
SOLUTION: In a settlement server 200 in an information service system, an acquirer 242 acquires location information indicating a payment location where a payment was made, for example, when a taxi fare was paid by a payment application executed on a user terminal, from a settlement device that processes settlements in the taxi. A generator 243 generates regional information to be provided by an information service application of the user terminal, based on the acquired location information. Then, the transmitter 220 transmits the generated regional information to the user terminal, for example, in a push notification format.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR DETERMINING TIMING OF A REMITTANCE PAYMENT
A method includes, based on a request from a payor to initiate a remittance payment, determining a start time for processing the remittance payment and calculating an initial processing duration attributable to a remittance provider computer system and associated with the remittance payment. The method also includes determining availability of a partner associated with the remittance provider computer system to process the remittance payment, wherein the availability of the partner is determined according to the start time and the initial processing duration and based on calendar information received from the partner. The method also includes calculating a partner processing duration for the partner to process the remittance payment, and calculating a date of availability for a payee to access the remittance payment, wherein the date of availability is calculated based on the availability of the partner to process the remittance payment and the partner processing duration.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS RELATING TO TOKENIZATION
Systems and methods for use in tokenization are disclosed. One example method includes receiving a request to provision a biometric for biometric transactions to a payment account where, the request includes a cryptogram associated with a transaction to said payment account and/or a transaction ID for the transaction. The method also includes checking with an issuer whether the payment account is supported for biometric transactions, receiving an indicator of eligibility, and then requesting a biometric from the user. The method further includes receiving biometric data indicative of the user's biometric, and transmitting a request to the issuer to enable biometric transactions for the payment account.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR CONTACTLESS SALES USING LOCATION-BASED SERVICES
A system for facilitating transactions at a venue, the system comprising a processor and a memory having executable instructions stored thereon that when executed by the processor cause the processor to determine a location of a client device based on location sensor data received from the client device, select an offer based on the location of the client device and an event at a venue a user of the client device is attending, and generate a message to the client device based on the offer.
VALIDATING A SHORT-RANGE MOBILE DEVICE TRANSACTION USING A LONG-RANGE MOBILE DEVICE TRANSACTION
An exemplary device is a device is for validating a short-range mobile device transaction using a long-range mobile device transaction. The device comprises a first communication interface; a second communication interface; and a processor configured to: receive a first request from the device, the first request being associated with an application; conduct, over the first communication interface, a first transaction, the first transaction comprising transmission or reception of first information over the first communication interface, and send, over the second communication interface, a second request associated with the application, the second request being based on the first transaction. The second request is processed based on: determining a location associated with conducting the first transaction or sending the second request, and determining the location is an approved location associated with the application.
Ranking of merchants for cardless payment transactions
A method for ranking merchants that includes receiving in a cardless payment system a current location of a mobile device of a customer; receiving data identifying a plurality of merchants based on proximity to the current location, each merchant having an account with the cardless payment system; ranking the plurality of merchants based on at least one or more indicators, the one or more indicators including purchase data or a dwell time; sending the ranking of the plurality of merchants to the mobile device.
Systems, Methods and Apparatuses for Prevention of Relay Attacks
The systems, methods and apparatuses described herein provide an apparatus configured for preventing relay attacks on a communication link between the apparatus and a communication partner. The apparatus may comprise a communication port, a timer and a processor. The processor may be configured to generate a request, transmit the request through the communication link using the communication port and start counting time using the timer, receive a response via the communication port and stop the timer, receive authentication data via the communication port, authenticate the authentication data, compare the counted time with a predefined threshold, compare a first field within the request with a second field within the response and determine whether there is a relay attack.
DIGITAL CURRENCY SETTLEMENT SYSTEM AND SETTLEMENT METHOD AND PAYMENT DEVICE
A digital currency settlement system, includes: a payment device, a digital currency block chain system, a network server, a management center, and a settlement terminal. The settlement terminal reads user information in the payment device of User A to generate a transaction, and the transaction is transmitted to the management center through the network server. The management center converts the quantity y of a digital currency in the transaction information into an intermediate currency of a corresponding quantity Y0, and transfers the intermediate currency of the corresponding quantity Y0 from an account of User A to an account of User B, and after a certain time, the total quantity Y of the intermediate currency in the account of User B is counted and converted into the digital currency of a corresponding quantity Z according to the total quantity of the intermediate currency.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR ACCOUNT VERIFICATION BY AERIAL DRONE
A verification application executing at a user's mobile phone directs the user to take a photo of an identification document (e.g., driver's license or other form of government issued identification) or of their face. After the verification application sends the image to a backend service, the service may then dispatch a drone to the user's location and take a photograph of the user. The service may then validate the previously-imaged document or photo of the user's face against the photograph of the user and the geolocation sent with the first image. The service may then verify the new account and provision a token to the verification application to complete a secured account generation.
Edge-node touchless authentication architecture
This disclosure describes an edge-node computing system that provides streamlined access to secured products/services based on data captured by one or more sensors. The captured data may include unsolicited authenticators. Edge-nodes may process the captured data and perform a plurality of pre-authentication routines. A consensus protocol executed by the edge-nodes may establish a threshold pre-authentication of a customer based on the plurality of pre-authentication routines. Edge-nodes may configure an automated teller machine (“ATM”) to provide the customer access to the ATM based on the threshold pre-authentication. The edge-nodes may configure the ATM to allow the customer to use a contactless authentication method to access the ATM.
