SECURE MOBILE POINT OF DISTRIBUTION DEVICE WITH SMART INTERFACE INTERACTIVITY
Embodiments of the invention are directed to a system, method, or computer program product for a secure mobile resource interaction device for mobile resource distribution services providing a smart interface interactivity linkage between parties. The system incorporates misappropriation service identifications for a merchant, a co-geolocation colocation, and a pinning element incorporated within the secure mobile resource interaction device to confirm security for completion of resource distribution. Upon qualification of one or more of the incorporated elements, the device may activate and provide a display for completion of resource distribution.
Shopping cart monitoring using computer vision
A system for monitoring shopping carts uses cameras to generate images of the carts moving in a store. In some implementations, cameras may additionally or alternatively be mounted to the shopping carts and configured to image cart contents. The system may use the collected image data, and/or other types of sensor data (such as the store location at which an item was added to the basket), to classify items detected in the shopping carts. For example, a trained machine learning model may classify item in a cart as “non-merchandise,” “high theft risk merchandise,” “electronics merchandise,” etc. When a shopping cart approaches a store exit without any indication of an associated payment transaction, the system may use the associated item classification data, optionally in combination with other data such as cart path data, to determine whether to execute an anti-theft action, such as locking a cart wheel or activating a store alarm. The system may also compare the classifications of cart contents to payment transaction records (or summaries thereof) to, e.g., detect underpayment events.
Systems and methods for reader device registration, use, and management
A method and apparatus for reader device registration, activation, and use are described. The method may include receiving, by a commerce platform, a registration request generated by a reader device, wherein the registration request comprises at least identification data for the reader device. The method may also include transmitting, to the reader device, a registration code. The method may also include receiving, by the commerce platform from a merchant system, a second registration code purported to be the registration code transmitted to the reader device. The method may also include generating an encryption key associated with the reader device and transmitting the encryption key to the merchant system, wherein the encryption key is provided by merchant system to the reader device for use by the reader device when communicating with the commerce platform during merchant transactions.
Systems and Methods to Coordinate Processing of Separate Computing Systems Connected via a Communication Network and Having Locale Dependent Attributes
A computing apparatus including: a processing system to process a predetermined type of operations using a predetermined communication protocol on a first network connecting a terminal in a first geographical region and a resource controller in a second geographical region; a communication portal to communicate using a second network; and a data store coupled with the processing system. The communication portal communicates via the second network with the mobile device to establish, in the data store, a resource correlation record associating a first resource controlled by the resource controller in the second geographical region with a second resource. The resource correlation record includes locale dependent parameters. In response to a communication initiated in the terminal for an operation of the predetermined type using the first resource, the processing system applies the second resource to the operation in accordance with the resource correlation record using at least the locale dependent parameters.
CUSTOMER IDENTIFICATION VERIFICATION PROCESS
An example device may include one or more processors to receive a request for a service from a requestor user device; provide transaction information associated with the service to a provider user device, where the transaction information may include location information corresponding to a location at which the service may be provided; obtain verification information from the requestor user device based on an interaction associated with the requestor user device or the provider user device at the location, where the verification information may include one or more characteristics of the requestor user device; generate a verification token based on the one or more characteristics of the requestor user device; and provide the verification information to the provider user device to permit the provider user device to verify the requestor user device, based on receiving the verification information and obtaining the verification token from the requestor user device.
SYSTEM, METHOD, AND COMPUTER PROGRAM PRODUCT FOR REAL-TIME AUTOMATIC AUTHORIZATION OF A PAYMENT TRANSACTION
Provided is a computer-implemented method for real-time automatic authorization of a payment transaction that is independent of an authorization input from a consumer. The method may include receiving first data associated with a consumer, generating a payment transaction classification model based on the first data associated with the consumer, receiving second data associated with the consumer, determining whether to process a payment transaction real-time between the consumer and a merchant independent of an authorization input received from the consumer using the payment transaction classification model and the second data associated with the consumer, and processing a payment transaction between the consumer and the merchant based on determining to process the payment transaction in real-time between the consumer and the merchant.
INFORMATION PROCESSING DEVICE
An information processing device includes a reception unit that receives moving process information indicating a moving process including a transportation and a commercial facility to be used by a user, and a generation unit that generates authentication information that is commonly usable at the transportation and the commercial facility to be used by the user in accordance with the moving process and is used for authenticating the user.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR AGE VERIFICATION
A card holder's verified date of birth can be stored in a system and a verification communication link can be used for an age verification check using a required age and the card holder's verified date of birth. A verification cache can be used so that any age verification check can be done on a per transaction basis. The first setting of the verification cache can trigger the age verification check on the verification communication link while a transaction is processed on another communication link.
INCENTIVIZING IN-PERSON INTERACTIONS AND CUSTOMER ENGAGEMENT
Disclosed are various approaches for incentivizing in-person interactions and customer engagement. These approaches can include obtaining, with a client device, a first indication of attendance of a user at an event. Then, the client device reports the first indication of the attendance of the user to a remote computing device. Later, the client device obtains an additional indication of the attendance of the user at the event and reports the second indication of the attendance of the user to the remote computing device. Meanwhile, the remote computing device can receive the first indication of attendance of a user at an event and the second indication of attendance of the user at the event. The remote computing device can calculate an amount of time that the user attended the event and an amount of reward points based at least in part on the amount of time that the user attended the event. The remote computing device can then award the reward points to the user account of the user.
Systems and methods for contactless and secure data transfer
In one embodiment, a method comprises receiving a unique identifier from an item and sending a communication to an electronic device requesting that a user confirm a pending transaction, receiving input from the electronic device associated, and sending the received input to an authentication system for completing a transaction. In another embodiment, a system comprises a sensor, an authentication system, and a transaction processing system. The sensor is configured to emit energy and receive at least one first identifier, send at least one communication to an electronic device requesting a second identifier, receive at least one second identifier, and send the at least one first identifier and the at least one second identifier to the authentication system. The authentication system is configured to receive the at least one first and second identifiers from the sensor, to choose, based on the at least one first identifier and the at least one second identifier, a transaction processing system, and send the at least one first and second identifiers to the chosen transaction processing system.
