SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR FORWARD MARKET PURCHASE OF MACHINE RESOURCES
20230306319 · 2023-09-28 ·

Systems and methods for automatically soliciting the purchase of a first or second machine-related resource in a forward market, wherein the first resource and the second resource are distinct instances of the same type of resource, are described. A sample system may include a fleet of machines, each having a resource requirement comprising at least two of: a compute resource, a spectrum resource, or a network bandwidth resource. The system may include an circuits to aggregate data corresponding to the machine-related resources from at least a behavioral data source, to determine a substitution cost of a second resource; to determine a machine-related resource acquisition value; and to automatically solicit a purchase, in a forward market, of one of the first resource or the second resource in response to the determined substitution cost of the second resource.

Intelligent processing of broken or failed ATM transactions

Aspects of the disclosure relate to intelligent processing of broken or failed ATM transactions. In some embodiments, a computing platform may receive transaction data associated with a pending transaction initiated on a mobile computing device and generate hash information corresponding to the received transaction data. Then, the computing platform may identify ATMs previously visited by the user. Based on performing analytics on those previously visited ATMs, the computing platform may identify, from those previously visited ATMs, one or more alternate ATMs for completing the pending transaction. Next, the computing platform may send a notification to the mobile computing device that includes navigation information. Thereafter, the computing platform may cause the alternate ATMs to await input from the user by sending the generated hash information. In response to receiving a message indicating completion of the pending transaction, the computing platform may initiate clearing of a pending status of the pending transaction.

Remotely controlling use of features based on automatic validation requests

A system and method for disabling a function of a feature of a vehicle based on a validation request to a centralized validation authority, prior to a use of the feature includes determining that a condition is met as part of a startup sequence of the vehicle, transmitting the validation request to the centralized validation authority, in response to determining the condition is met, wherein the validation request is part of the startup sequence of the vehicle, receiving a validation decision from the centralized validation authority, and disabling the feature of the vehicle as a function of the receiving the validation decision.

Computer-based systems involving temporary cards and associated server and/or mobile device features and methods of use thereof

Systems and methods involving a temporary card as well as features and functionality of an associated server and/or application resident on a computing device are disclosed. In one embodiment, an exemplary system may comprise a temporary card provided to a user to conduct purchase transactions for a period of temporary use as well as a server configured to manage operation of the temporary card and execute instructions causing the server to: communicate with an app resident on a computing device associated with the user, instruct the app to generate one or more graphical user interfaces (GUIs) configured to display first interactive GUI elements with first user-selection(s) and second interactive GUI elements with second user-selection(s), and/or control the temporary card based on the first and second user-selections.

SERVICE PROCESSING METHOD AND APPARATUS
20220027868 · 2022-01-27 ·

Implementations of the present specification provide a service processing method. The method is performed by a service platform, the service platform including multiple area sites corresponding to multiple service areas, and each area site including a corresponding buyer service site and seller service site. The method includes: splitting a whole-order service into a buyer service and a seller service; further, on one hand, routing the buyer service to a buyer service site in a service area that a corresponding buyer belongs to, for the buyer service site to process the buyer service through interconnection with the buyer based on an area user identifier, and to locally store processed data, where the area user identifier is determined based on multiple area identities associated with a domain-wide identity corresponding to the buyer; and on the other hand, routing the seller service to a seller service site in a service area that a corresponding seller belongs to, for the seller service site to process the seller service through interconnection with the seller, and to locally store processed data.

BEHAVIOR-BASED USER ACCOUNTS DECOMPOSITION
20220027921 · 2022-01-27 ·

Methods and systems are presented for identifying different users who share a user account with an online service provider and dynamically processing transactions for the user account differently based on which user initiates the transaction request. In some embodiments, an account decomposition system may decompose the user account into distinct users who share the user account. The account decomposition system may identify different users who are sharing a user account by analyzing past transactions associated with the user account and different user devices that were used to conduct the past transactions. The account decomposition system may determine different user profiles for the different users, and may use the different user profiles to process incoming transaction requests initiated by different users of the user account.

Location-based authentication of transactions conducted using mobile devices
11232423 · 2022-01-25 · ·

A transaction authentication system authenticates a transaction by determining whether a mobile device and POS device involved in the transaction are at the same location. A POS registry stores location data for POS devices. A PAN registry stores mobile device IDs corresponding to account numbers. A mobile device ID can be provided from the PAN registry in response to receiving an account number from a POS device. The mobile device ID can then be used to retrieve location information from a home location register maintained by a mobile service provider. The retrieved location data for a POS device and the retrieved location data for a mobile device are compared.

Systems and methods for translating a gesture to initiate a financial transaction

Systems and methods for initiating and/or facilitating a financial transaction in response to detecting and translating a spatial gesture may be provided. A payor transaction device may be capable of detecting, via a motion-detecting device, a payor spatial gesture corresponding to a payment gesture of one or more predetermined spatial gestures and, responsive to detecting the payor spatial gesture, receiving payee account information from a payee transaction device. The payor transaction device may also be capable of transmitting, to a payor computing device, transaction data comprising the payee account information and data indicative of the payor spatial gesture. The payor computing device may be capable of transmitting at least a portion of the transaction data to a financial service provider terminal to enable the financial service provider terminal to facilitate the requested transaction.

Automated data tokenization through networked sensors
11232429 · 2022-01-25 · ·

There are provided systems and methods for automated data tokenization through networked sensors. A network of data sensors may detect that a user is likely to engage in electronic transaction processing with a merchant device, for example, based on an action performed by the user and/or with a user device. One or more of the sensors may connect with the user's device and retrieve financial data from the device and/or data necessary to issue a token to the device for transaction processing. The sensor may perform a background process to issue the token to the device, and once onboarded, may store the token to the user's device and/or the merchant device that the user is likely to interact with for transaction processing. The token may be limited in use by location and/or amount, or may be used to fully onboard the user with the token service provider.

Local edge-node server

This application describes apparatus and methods for distributing computing resources using edge-computing. Apparatus may include an edge node that is positioned in a target geographic region. The edge-node may include information needed to process transactions that occur locally in the target geographic region. The edge-node may process the transaction without communicating with a central server. The edge-node may support processing transactions on behalf of a variety of financial institutions and merchant processing systems. Processing the transaction locally may reduce computational resources typically required by region server to process high volumes of transactions. The edge-nodes would process transactions locally, close to a location of at least one party to the transaction.
