20210304190 · 2021-09-30 ·

According to one or more embodiments, an information processing apparatus comprises a processor. The processor receives first information for user authentication from a customer terminal and registers second information that specifies a customer credit card when a customer is authenticated by the user authentication using the first information. The processor further receives third information that specifies the customer credit card for credit card settlement from a settlement apparatus. The processor then transmits a response to the settlement apparatus indicating signatureless settlement is permitted for the credit card when the registered second information specifies the credit card.

LOCATION-BASED AUTOMATIC COMPILATION OF CHARGES ACCRUED FOR VENUE PROVIDED GOODS/SERVICES

Technology is disclosed for automatically building an expandable invoice for incurred charges based on recognition of charge-incurring activities by persons whose specific identities are not known via the activity recognition process. A separate process detects location of sourcing and time for a Patron-presence and Patron-identifying Advertising radio Signal (P/PAS) repeatedly broadcast by a P/PAS emitter possessed by each participating patron. Records from the two processes are matched and combined based on substantial proximity in time and space for the activity recognition and the presence detection. Payment on a pay-go-whenever-ready (PGWeR) basis is enabled with use of the built invoice. A patron can pay and leave whenever ready to do so without need for intervention by an on premise staff member.

A system and method of prompting impulse purchases includes detecting a customer, transmitting an impulse purchase prompt to the customer, and fulfilling, in near-real time, an impulse purchase request transmitted by the customer in response to the impulse purchase prompt.

Systems and methods for location-binding authentication

Systems, methods, and apparatuses for authenticating a user based at least in part on a location of the user or a location of a user device are described. The user may be authenticated as part of a financial transaction or as part of a login process for a computing device. The user device was previously bound or associated with the user. During the authentication, a system (e.g., a financial institution computing system or a backend authentication system) requests location information from the user device. The location information may be packaged as a digital fingerprint of the user device, which can only be created from the user device. Based on the location information, the user can be authenticated thereby approving the transaction or login request.

Embodiments described herein relate generally to a multipurpose smartphone device. More specifically, embodiments described herein disclose a smartphone that is capable of being used as a point-of-sale (POS) device.

ACCOMMODATION AREA MANAGEMENT DEVICE

A parking lot management device which manages a parking lot for accommodating a vehicle and stops the vehicle at a predetermined parking space in the parking lot includes a priority assigning unit which gives a priority to each of a plurality of vehicles traveling in the parking lot according to an order in which each vehicle is traveled. The priority assigning unit assigns the priority to each vehicle according to a set movement performance set in advance for each vehicle.

MULTIPLE LOCATION-BASED AUTHENTICATION

Methods, systems, and apparatuses are described herein for authenticating users based on the historic location of multiple computing devices. A first location history of a first computing device may be received. One or more second computing devices may be determined based on their relationship to the first computing device, and second location histories of the one or more second computing devices may be received. Based on comparing the first location history and the second location histories, common locations may be determined. Questions may be determined based on the common locations. Based on a user response to the questions, a user may be authenticated.

SYSTEMS FOR AUTOMATIC CALCULATION OF MANUAL AND TAG TOLL PAYMENT
20210295284 · 2021-09-23 · ·

A system of calculation of manual and tag tolls in a vehicle includes a computing device having a processor and a non-transitory computer-readable memory, an input device and an output device communicatively coupled to the computing device, and a machine-readable instruction set stored in the non-transitory computer-readable memory that causes the system to perform a number of steps. The steps include determining, through the input device, a vehicle parameter and whether cash or an automatic payment method will be used for paying tolls on a trip between an origin and a destination within a mapped area, calculating, using the computing device, a first cost of tolls for the trip using cash and a second cost of tolls for the trip using the automatic payment method, and providing a feedback, through the output device, to a user comparing the first cost of tolls and the second cost of tolls.

IDENTIFYING ACCURATE LOCATIONS OF IN-PERSON PAYMENT CARD TRANSACTIONS TO DETECT LOCATION-BASED PAYMENT CARD ANOMALIES
20230401582 · 2023-12-14 ·

Systems and methods for identifying accurate locations of in-person payment card transactions to detect location-based payment card anomalies. Some embodiments disclosed herein may enable identifying accurate locations of in-person payment card transactions to detect location-based payment card anomalies. In some embodiments, purchase data for a plurality financial transaction by a consumer that are performed in-person with a payment card may be received. The purchase data may identify merchant locations that are associated with each financial transaction. The merchant locations may be analyzed to determine whether they represent true physical locations of the financial transactions. Once a plurality of true physical locations has been identified, distances between them may be determined and a security action may be performed if the distances exceed a threshold.
