BOOKING MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
Secure authentication and delayed transaction processing for booking management systems is provided. Third-party services partner with booking management systems to aggregate and list offerings of the third-party services in a digestible display on a one-stop platform. A booking management system can manage the authentication of payment card information on behalf of any number of such third-party services. The booking management system can maintain and process authentication information associated with traveler payment cards, and provide virtual payment information to the third-party services for delayed transactions. The third-party services may later initiate the delayed transactions using the virtual payment information, without being required to perform authentication processing on the traveler payment card information maintained by the booking management system.
METHODS AND APPARATUS FOR ELECTRONIC DETECTION OF FRAUDULENT TRANSACTIONS
This application relates to apparatus and methods for identifying fraudulent transactions. In some examples, a computing device trains a machine learning process with labelled historical transactions. The computing device may then receive transaction data identifying a purchase transaction, such as at a store or on a website. The computing device may execute the trained machine learning process based on the transaction data to generate a trust score. The machine learning process may determine whether the transaction is being made with a trusted device and trusted payment form, for example, to generate the trust score. The trust score may be used to determine whether the purchase transaction is to be allowed. In some examples, the transaction is allowed if the generated trust score is beyond a threshold. In some examples, the computing device may distrust a trusted device or payment form based on one or more events.
MINI-VAULTS FOR SECURING ACCOUNT INFORMATION
Systems and methods disclosed herein describe techniques for securing a user's primary account information by providing a mini-vault for transactions. A mini-vault may be generated and associated with specific transactions. For instance, the mini-vault may be affiliated with a payee such that the payee may obtain funds from the mini-vault. Alternatively, the mini-vault may be associated with geographic and/or time-based restrictions. These may limit where and when the user may obtain the funds maintained in the mini-vault. Accordingly, the mini-vault may limit the exposure of primary account information to prevent a bad actor from accessing the funds maintained in a user's primary account.
UTILIZING A MACHINE LEARNING MODEL TO DETERMINE WHETHER A TRANSACTION ACCOUNT USER IS TRAVELING
A device may receive historical transaction data associated with transactions conducted via transaction accounts associated with users, and may receive historical travel data indicating whether the users were traveling during times associated with the transactions. The device may train a machine learning model with the historical transaction data and the historical travel data to generate a trained machine learning model, and may receive transaction data associated with transactions conducted via a transaction account associated with a user. The device may process the transaction data, with the trained machine learning model, to determine a confidence score that provides an indication of whether the user is traveling, and may determine whether the confidence score satisfies a confidence threshold. The device may determine that the user is traveling when the confidence score satisfies the confidence threshold, and may perform one or more actions based on determining that the user is traveling.
COMPUTER-BASED SYSTEMS AND METHODS CONFIGURED FOR ONE OR MORE TECHNOLOGICAL APPLICATIONS FOR AUTHORIZING A CREDIT CARD FOR USE BY A USER
A configured application for authorizing a credit card by a user and a method that may include receiving an electronic request to pair a mobile device associated with a user with a credit card of the user. The credit card may include a location tracking circuitry to remotely communicate a location of the credit card to a remote electronic recipient. The location of the credit card may be received by a processor from the remote electronic recipient. A proximity multi-factor authentication may verify that the user is an authorized user of the credit card. The mobile device associated with the user may be paired with the credit card of the user after verifying that the user is the authorized user. The processor may receive the location of the credit card paired with the mobile device from the remote electronic recipient. The location of the credit card may be displayed on a display of the mobile device associated with the user.
GEOGRAPHIC LOCATION CONSENSUS DETERMINATION
Techniques are disclosed relating to determining whether geographic locations of a user computing device satisfy a location consensus threshold. A computer system receives results of a plurality of location determination operations, each of which specifies a geographic location of a computing device initiating an action. The computer system then makes a determination whether the received results satisfy a consensus threshold as to geographic location of the computing device. In some embodiments, the determination is usable to select, from a plurality of sets of rules for different geographic regions, a particular set of rules for processing the action. In some cases, the particular set of rules is usable to determine whether to process the action. Such techniques may advantageously allow a processing system to understand how to process actions initiated by a computing device associated with different geographic locations.
BLOCKCHAIN ARCHITECTURE, SYSTEM, METHOD AND DEVICE FOR AUTOMATED CYBERSECURITY AND DATA PRIVACY LAW COMPLIANCE WITH A STREAMLINED BLOCK STRUCTURE
A distributed transaction and data storage platform including a distributed notary ledger or blockchain and one or more individual user micro-identifier chains that together enable the secure effectuation and recordation of one or more transactions, and/or storage of data in an automated, real-time, zero-trust, globally data law and privacy law centric manner while maintaining transaction party confidentiality and preventing chain poisoning.
AGENT FOR PROTECTING THE PRIVACY OF END-USERS OF BUSINESS TRANSACTIONS
An agent provides anonymity to users of business transactions. The agent acts as an interface between the users and businesses accessible. The businesses are identified as trusted, semi-trusted or non-trusted by the agent. The agent enforces terms and conditions of smart contracts agreed upon by the businesses and intended to protect the privacy of the users. A user may purchase goods and/or services from a business without revealing their identity to the business. Advertisements from this or other businesses may or may not reach the user depending on the user's preferences. The agent may collect loyalty points from the businesses on behalf of the users while maintaining the confidentiality of the users. The businesses may collect only data about the agent and a platform that implements the agent without collecting data about the users.
Service enhancements using near field communication
A near field communication (NFC) mobile device may obtain location information from a NFC terminal device that is communicating with the NFC mobile device. A data transfer link may be established between the NFC mobile device and a mobile telecommunication network. The mobile telecommunication network may prompt the NFC mobile device to obtain location information from the NFC terminal device. The mobile telecommunication network may then receive the location information from the NFC mobile device via the data transfer link, and may subsequently determine a location of the NFC mobile device using the location information.
Short-range payment system using sound communication
A short-range payment system according to an embodiment of the present invention may include: a user terminal configured to transmit and receive a card information sound wave signal, which is a sound wave signal including card information, during operation in payment mode; a magnetic field converter configured to, when receiving the card information sound wave signal, extract the card information from the card information sound wave signal and generate a magnetic field that matches the extracted card information; and an MST payment device configured to perform payment processing by using the magnetic field generated by the magnetic field converter.
