System and Method for Processing Card Not Present Transactions
A method for processing card not present (CNP) transactions includes: receiving an authentication transaction request including authentication transaction data associated with a CNP transaction, receiving an authorization transaction request including authorization transaction data associated with the CNP transaction; in response to receiving the authorization transaction data and the authentication transaction data, determining an authorization decision for the CNP transaction; and communicating the authorization decision. Systems for processing CNP transactions are also disclosed.
Automatically displaying payment pages based on proximity to a payment device
Techniques for displaying a payment page based on the proximity of a payment device to a client computing device are described. One example method includes receiving, at a client computing device, a signal when the client computing device is within a predetermined range of a source of the signal; determining, by the client computing device, that the signal is a predetermined characteristic signal sent by an electronic device of a payee; and in response to determining that the received signal is the predetermined characteristic signal, displaying, by the client computing device, a payment page configured to be read by the electronic device of the payee to perform an electronic payment.
System, Method and Computer Program Product for Automatic and Remote Control of NFC Transaction Processing
A method, system, and computer program product for automatic and remote control of NFC transaction processing. The method includes receiving transaction data associated with a transaction, automatically requesting a token associated with the transaction from a transaction processing network in response to receiving the transaction data, receiving the token from the transaction processing network, automatically and wirelessly transmitting the token from a first device to a second device via NFC in response to receiving the token from the transaction processing network, automatically transmitting the token to the transaction processing network in response to receiving the token from the first device, receiving an authorization response associated with the transaction from the transaction processing network, and determining a compatibility of an application associated with at least one of the first device and the second device with the transaction processing network based on the authorization response.
GENERATION METHOD, PROGRAM AND INFORMATION PROCESSING DEVICE
A method performed by an information processing device to generate code information on a payment related to an electronic money at a terminal, may be provided. The method may include: obtaining first information; and generating the code information that includes second information related to an authentication of a user of the terminal based on the first information.
CORROBORATING DATA TO VERIFY TRANSACTIONS
Methods for verifying a transaction and coordinating verification of a transaction are provided. A method for verifying a transaction involves obtaining transaction data indicating execution of a transaction. The transaction data includes payment parameters of the transaction. The method involves obtaining corroborating data relevant to a determination of whether the transaction is determined to be authentic or inauthentic, displaying the payment parameters and indications of the corroborating data through a user interface of a computing device, and receiving a selection through the user interface to indicate that the transaction is determined to be authentic or inauthentic. A method for coordinating verification of a transaction involves obtaining transaction data, transmitting the transaction data to a user device, and receiving a selection from the user device to indicate whether the transaction is determined to be authentic or inauthentic. The methods may be embodied in non-transitory computer-readable media and executed by computing devices.
Payment method, apparatus and device
Implementations of the present specification disclose a payment method, apparatus, and device. In the case of face-to-face payment, the location information and the payment information are sent to the server through the terminal device of the first user, and the server generates a corresponding payment password and returns the corresponding payment password to the first user. The first user then forwards the payment password (for example, verbally, or forwarding using communication software, etc.) to the second user, and the second user then uploads the location and payment password of the second user to the server. The server performs matching or querying within a certain range based on the location of the second user, to determine whether a same payment password exists. If the matching or query is successful, payment is made.
Systems and methods for conditionally gifting funds
Described herein are examples of gift card management systems that provide gift cards that must be activated prior to being used in a transaction. In some examples, a purchaser may be refunded some or all of a purchase price for the gift card when the gift card is not activated. In some examples, the activation may additionally include certain safeguards to prevent fraud.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR PAYMENT MANAGEMENT
Systems and methods for payment management are provided. The methods may include receiving a payment request including information related to a service provided by a service provider. The information related to the service may include first geographical information of the service provider. The methods may further include obtaining second geographical information of a location where the service is provided, and comparing the first geographical information and the second geographical information. The methods may further include determining whether the payment request is approved according to a preset rule at least based on the result of the comparison of the two geographical information.
Systems and methods for selectively preventing origination of transaction requests
Processing transaction requests may be considered a computationally expensive operation for a computing system such as an e-commerce platform. An aspect of the present disclosure relates to systems and methods to reduce the number of transaction requests that are received and/or processed by a computing system. This may reduce demand on the computing system's resources and potentially improve the responsiveness of the computing system. In some embodiments, a set of users is selected based on at least one defined condition for a particular transaction request. Origination of the particular transaction request on behalf of users excluded from the set of users is prevented in order to reduce the number of the particular transaction requests that are received and/or processed by a corresponding computing system.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR IDENTIFYING RECURRENT TRANSFER PATTERNS
In an aspect, the present application describes a computer-implemented method including: storing a set of candidate rules, the set of candidate rules defining payment cycles; identifying, from a transaction history for an account, an actual set of transfers made to a first recipient; identifying a first reference transfer from the actual set of transfers; for each of at least a plurality of candidate rules in the set of candidate rules, identifying, based on the first reference transfer, an expected set of transfers for that candidate rule; identifying one of the candidate rules as a closest rule for the actual set of transfers; identifying a future expected transfer based on the identified one of the candidate rules; and providing a notification to a client device associated with the account of the future expected transfer.
