Methods and systems for providing temporary and secure authenticated access to content from a content provider, such as data, software, services, streaming content, entertainment, and/or other information. In one embodiment, the present invention contemplates using location specific automatic authentication. The present invention contemplates a system, computer program, and associated processes and methods to provide temporary and private authentication including secure temporary authorization to data, content, software, services, and/or information based on a verification of a user's proximity to a venue.

Motion-enabled transaction system using air sign symbols

Systems and methods for motion-enabled transactions are disclosed. The system may allow users to complete transactions with merchants via an air sign input. The system may receive a motion-enabled transaction request comprising an air sign input. The system may determine a stored air sign symbol based on the air sign input. The system may retrieve a merchant identifier, a transaction type, and a transaction cost based on the determined stored air sign symbol. The system may transmit a transaction confirmation comprising the merchant identifier, the transaction type, and the transaction cost. In response to the user confirming the transaction confirmation, the system may authorize and process the transaction.

Authentication Platform for Pin Debit Issuers

A system and method processes a transaction between a merchant and a consumer. Data indicate of the security of a digital processing device being used by the consumer to carry out the transaction with the merchant is received. A determination as to whether the digital processing device is secure is made using the received data. In response to determining the digital processing device is insecure, the transaction is aborted. In response to determining the digital processing device is in secure, the transaction is processed by at least one of authenticating the consumer, authorizing the transaction using a payment processing supply chain, and capturing funds for the transaction using a payment processing supply chain.

MERCHANT LOCATION BASED DISPLAY FOR A PROJECTABLE TRANSACTION CARD
20210019733 · 2021-01-21 ·

A device may determine information that identifies a location of a projectable transaction card that is capable of being used to conduct a transaction associated with a merchant. The device may determine that the location of the projectable transaction card matches a location associated with the merchant. The device may identify a virtual transaction number that is unique to the merchant, previously associated with the merchant, unique to an account associated with the projectable transaction card, and to be used in conducting the transaction. The device may provide the virtual transaction number for display on a display screen of the projectable transaction card. The virtual transaction number may not be displayed on the display screen of the projectable transaction card prior to a determination that the location of the projectable transaction card matches the location associated with the merchant.

ASSOCIATING MERCHANT DATA WITH A MONETARY WITHDRAWAL FROM A TRANSACTION DEVICE BASED ON A LOCATION OF THE TRANSACTION DEVICE

A device receives transaction data identifying a monetary withdrawal, by a user, from a transaction device located at or near a merchant location, and receives location data indicating a location of a user device at a time period after receiving the transaction data. The device processes the transaction data and the location data to identify a merchant associated with the merchant location, and processes information identifying the merchant to generate a notification requesting that the user identify an amount of the monetary withdrawal that was spent with the merchant. The device provides the notification to the user device, and receives a response indicating the amount of the monetary withdrawal. The device identifies the amount of the monetary withdrawal, and associates the amount of the monetary withdrawal with information identifying the merchant, a category of the merchant, and an account of the user.

Systems and methods for authenticating user identities in networked computer systems

The disclosed embodiments include methods, systems, system terminals, and point-of-sale terminals for authenticating a user. The disclosed embodiments include, for example, a method for receiving, by one or more processors, authentication data from an authentication network, the authentication data including an authentication code identifying an authentication transaction associated with an authenticating partner system. The method may also include validating, by the one or more processors, the authentication data, the validating comprising comparing the authentication data with validation data corresponding to a prior authentication event associated with the user. The method may also include generating, by the one or more processors, validation information based on the validating, the validation information comprising a determination whether to validate the user for the authentication transaction. The method may also include providing, by the one or more processors, the validation information to the authentication network.

MERCHANT-LEVEL BLOCKING MECHANISM

Payment instruments used on behalf of a sponsor may be restricted from use at certain locations. The sponsor may indicate that use of the payment instrument at either specific merchants or certain categories of merchants is not in accordance with the sponsor's goals or values. A system evaluates every transaction request to determine if the personal account number of the payment instrument is associated with the sponsor. If so, the transaction may be further screened to determine if the transaction is from a location to be blocked, in which case a flag may be added to the transaction indicating it is from blocked location. An issuer of the payment instrument may then determine whether to approve or deny the transaction. A tool may generate a dataset of locations and/or merchant categories for use in identifying blocked locations.

RELATION-BASED SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR FRAUD DETECTION AND EVALUATION

A method for detecting fraud is provided in which a graph database of transaction relationships is constructed using transaction information for a plurality of transactions. Using the graph database, a plurality of account holder identifiers are associated into an account holder group. When transaction information for a new transaction associated with a transaction account holder identifier is received, a determination is made as to whether the transaction account holder identifier is in the account holder group. Responsive to a determination that the transaction account holder identifier is included in the account holder group, the new transaction information is compared to the transaction information for the account holder group and a fraud factor is determined for the new transaction. The fraud factor is indicative of a degree of similarity to the transaction information of the account holder group.
