SELF-CLEANING AUTONOMOUS STORE
An autonomous store that tracks shopper movements and actions, and performs store cleaning actions based on analysis of shopper activity. Cleaning actions may include disinfecting the store or regions within the store using radiation, fogging or spraying, or ventilation. Cleaning actions may be targeted; for example, zones where shoppers linger or congregate may be cleaned more frequently or intensively, or shelves or items that shoppers touch may be cleaned after these interactions. Shopper activity information may be used to limit the number of shoppers in a store at once, for example by denying entry when the store is at capacity. The density of shoppers in regions of the store may be communicated to shoppers so that they can limit their interactions with other shoppers. Shopper activity history may be used for contact tracing by identifying other shoppers that may have been exposed to an individual who was in the store.
Method and System for User Address Validation
A system and method for validating user address information is disclosed herein. A computing system periodically polls a client device associated with a user to identify a current location of the user. The computing system records the current location of the user after polling and a time associated with the polling. The computing system receives one or more transactions from one or more third party vendors. The computing system identifies, based on the one or more transactions, a location and a time associated with each transaction in the one or more transactions. The computing system defines a geographic area. The computing system determines that a current primary address on file for the user is outside of the geographic area. The computing system prompts, based on the determining, the user to update the current primary address.
SYSTEMS, METHODS, AND APPARATUS FOR UTILIZING FORWARD MARKET PRICING TO FACILITATE OPERATIONAL DECISIONS
Systems, methods, and apparatus for utilizing forward market pricing to facilitate operational decisions are disclosed. An example method may include interpreting a compute resource utilization requirement for a task system, and interpreting a behavioral data source, comprising entity behavioral data for an entity associated with the task system. The method may also include forecasting a forward market price for a compute resource in response to the compute resource utilization requirement and the behavioral data source, and, in response to the forward market price, adjusting an operation of the task system or executing a transaction.
An example method may include interpreting a resource utilization requirement for a task system having at least one of a compute task, a network task, or a core task. The method may further include interpreting an automated agent behavioral data source to obtain behavioral data, and operating a machine to forecast a forward market value for a resource in response to the resource utilization requirement and the behavioral data. The method then includes, in response to the forecast of the forward market value for the resource, adjusting an operation of the task system or executing a transaction.
METHODS FOR RESOURCE ALLOCATION AND UTILIZATION BASED ON FORWARD MARKET PRICE FORECAST
Methods for utilizing forward market pricing to facilitate operational decisions are disclosed. An example method may include interpreting a resource utilization requirement for a task system having at least one of a compute task, a network task, or a core task, and accessing an external provider to provide at least a portion of the compute task, the network task, or the core task. The method may also include interpreting a behavioral data source and operating a machine to forecast a forward market value for a resource in response to a remaining resource utilization requirement and the behavioral data source. The method may then include, in response to the forecast of the forward market value for the resource, adjusting an operation of the task system or executing a transaction.
Method and system for authorizing card account transactions by geographic region
A method and system for authorizing card account transactions by geographic region by providing data for a user interface displaying geographic regions and merchant locations each corresponding to the location of a merchant where a transaction using a card account may be initiated, receiving a user interface selection representing a request to authorize or restrict card account transactions, receiving authorization requests for desired transactions, and authorizing or restricting the transactions in accordance with the request.
Offline authentication
Techniques for enhancing the security of a communication device when conducting a transaction using the communication device may include using a limited-use key (LUK) to generate a transaction cryptogram, and using a signature key to generate a signature. The transaction can be an offline data authentication transaction, and access can be granted based on authentication of the signature prior to verifying the transaction cryptogram.
NETWORK-TETHERABLE AUTOMATED TELLER MACHINE
According to one aspect of the present disclosure, a method for improved reliability in a bank computer network can include: identifying an ATM proximate to a user device; determining whether the user device is communicably coupled to a server device over a secure link, the server device hosted by a financial institution and capable processing ATM transactions; establishing a secure link with the server device in response to determining the user device is not communicably coupled with the server device; prompting a user for permission to tether with the ATM in response to determining the user device is communicably coupled with the server device or determining the secure link has been established; receiving an indication of a response to the prompt for permission to tether with ATM; and establishing a P2P connection between the ATM and the user device.
METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR GENERATING A UNIQUE SIGNATURE BASED ON USER DEVICE MOVEMENTS IN A THREE-DIMENSIONAL SPACE
Systems and methods are disclosed for device movement-based authentication. One method comprises receiving contextual data from one or more sensors of a user device and determining a device movement pattern based on the received contextual data. The determined device movement pattern is compared with a device movement-based signature associated with a user of the user device. If the determined device movement pattern matches the device-movement based signature within a predetermined threshold, the user is authenticated for an electronic transaction. If the determined device movement pattern does not match the device-movement based signature, a notification indicating authentication failure is sent to the user device.
MAPPING RADIO DATA LAYERS OF RADIO MAP TO FLOOR IDENTIFIERS
A method and apparatus are provided that obtain payment transaction information pertaining to a mobile payment transaction event with a mobile device; obtain radio measurement data representative of a radio environment at a location of the mobile payment transaction event; associate the payment transaction information and the radio measurement data; and provide the payment transaction information and the associated radio measurement data for mapping radio data layers of a radio map to floor identifiers.
