Method and system for providing alert messages related to suspicious transactions
Systems and methods are provided for providing alerts to a user. The systems and methods may include a financial service provider including a memory device storing instructions. The financial service provider may also include at least one processor configured to execute the instructions to receive data relating to a transaction made by the user, compare the received data to a set of data associated with the user, determine whether the data relating to the transaction deviates from a set of data associated with the user by more than a threshold value, and send an alert message to a user device associated with the user when the processor determines that the data relating to the transaction deviates from the set of data associated with the user by more than the threshold value.
Non-scan loss verification at self-checkout terminal
A system and method for verifying a non-scan item at a self-checkout point-of-sale terminal is provided. A merchandise item that isn't scanned at the self-checkout terminal is identified by a detection system. Further, a user helper device is provided to verify the incident by prompting the shopper for an input. The user helper device is operably connected to the self-checkout point-of-sale terminal and the detection system to determine and verify a fraudulent incident occurring during a transaction activity by the shoppers. Further, a store attendant device is provided for human intervention when necessary.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR IDENTIFYING A MCC-MISCLASSIFIED MERCHANT
A computer system for identifying merchant category code misclassifications includes at least one processor in communication with a transaction database and a merchant database. The transaction database stores transaction records by a plurality of account holders. The processor generates a first MCC profile including at least one transaction characteristic representative of merchants properly classified as the first MCC and comparing the first MCC profile to a second set of transaction records. If the comparison satisfies a comparison threshold for the first MCC the processor identifies the corresponding selected merchant as being MCC misclassified.
Terminal device, personal authentication system and personal authentication method
A technology which is highly safe and furthermore highly convenient in personal authentications via a mobile terminal is provided. A terminal device 200 of the present invention includes: a position determining section 271 that determines a position of the terminal device 200 at predetermined time intervals, and accumulates the position as position information; a movement history generating section 272 that generates a movement history by using the position information accumulated in a predetermined period, and stores the movement history as movement history information; a registration processing section 276 that transmits, for registration, the movement history information to a personal authentication apparatus; and an authentication requesting section 279 that makes an authentication request to the personal authentication apparatus 310 by using the movement history information stored after the transmission by the registration processing section 276 to the personal authentication apparatus 310.
Continuous learning neural network system using rolling window
A disclosed method an analysis computer determining a rolling window associated with interaction data for interactions that occur over time. The analysis computer can retrieve interaction data for interactions occurring in the rolling window. The analysis computer can then generate pseudo interaction data based upon historical interaction data. The analysis computer can optionally embed the interaction data for the interactions occurring within the rolling window and the pseudo interaction data to form interaction data matrices. The analysis computer can then form a neural network model using the interaction data matrices, which is derived from the interaction data in the rolling window and the pseudo interaction data.
Method and apparatus for reaching blockchain consensus
The present disclosure provides a blockchain consensus reaching method, includes: receiving election data transmitted from a blockchain node having a first account balance and/or a second account balance, the election data comprises information about a blockchain node selected by the blockchain node that transmits the election data; and determining a consensus blockchain node from blockchain nodes selected by each election data based on the election data received in this round, so that the determined consensus blockchain node performs a block packaging operation in a new round; wherein a value in the first account of each blockchain node indicates a number of digital currencies that the blockchain node has, and a value in the second account of each blockchain node indicates a number of votes that the blockchain node has. The present disclosure also provides a blockchain consensus reaching apparatus, a computer system and a computer-readable medium.
BLOCKCHAIN-BASED E-BUSINESS PLATFORM FOR METAVERSE DECENTRALIZATION
The present disclosure discloses a blockchain-based e-business platform for metaverse decentralization, and relates to the technical field of polymerization of diversified blockchain technologies. The e-business platform includes three blockchain technologies with different features: a commodity transaction blockchain system, a digital commodity ownership electronic authentication blockchain system, and a distributed storage blockchain system. Based on the high-performance transaction blockchain system, ultrahigh-speed transactions are achieved, and extremely low transaction fees are produced, so that a decentralization e-business transaction module becomes more effective. Based on the digital commodity ownership electronic authentication blockchain system, a commodity features with uniqueness, traceability, irreversibility, authorization and the like, and a decentralization e-business commodity management module becomes more efficient and simpler. The business platform combines diversified blockchain technologies, so that the blockchain technology has higher extensibility and a wider application range.
SECURING CARD PAYMENT TRANSACTIONS MADE BY TELEPHONE
A computer implemented method (200) for securing card payment transactions made via telephone. The method (200) comprising: receiving (202) payment card data associated with a card payment transaction initiated by a cardholder (102) via a telephone call; obtaining (204) one or more additional data fields for which corresponding additional information is required for securing the transaction, the additional information being information not included with the received payment card data; obtaining (206) device information of a user device (110) associated with the cardholder (102); generating (208) customised webpage content associated with the transaction based on the additional information, the webpage content including one or more data retrieval mechanisms to be included in a webpage, the data retrieval mechanisms being configured to retrieve the additional information; sending (210) a link, by which the webpage can be accessed, to the user device (110) using the device information; receiving (212) additional information from the user device (110) obtained via the one or more data retrieval mechanisms; and attempting (214) to perform the card payment transaction using the payment card data and the received additional information. Also disclosed is a transaction system (100) for securing card payment transactions, and a computer program product.
