Authentication to authorization bridge using enriched messages
A system of electronic communication is disclosed. The system may: create a Pre-Authentication Transaction Number (Pre-ATN) by combining a number with a Special Encode Value (SEV), wherein the SEV is a single digit integer value; encrypt the Pre-ATN using a Format Preserving Encryption (FPE) to generate an encrypted Authentication Transaction Number (ATN); and send the encrypted ATN to an access control server (ACS) to use the encrypted ATN to generate a cardholder Authentication Verification Value (CAVV) or an Accountholder Authentication Value (AAV).
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR LINKING AUTHENTICATIONS IN CONNECTION WITH NETWORK INTERACTIONS
Systems and methods are provided for associating authentications and authorizations in connection with network interactions. An exemplary system includes a computing device configured to receive an authorization request for a network interaction from an acquirer, where the authorization request includes a primary account number (PAN) for a payment account and a transaction amount. The computing device is also configured to determine whether the authorization request includes an accountholder authentication value (AAV) and/or a transaction identifier (ID). In response to the authorization request including the AAV and the transaction ID, the computing device is configured to determine whether the AAV and the transaction ID are included in a data structure and, in response to them being included in the data structure, append a tag to the authorization request indicative of association of the authorization request to an authentication in the data structure associated with the AAV and the transaction ID.
TAP TO AUTOFILL CARD DATA
Various embodiments are generally directed to autofilling card data from a contactless card to a form of a computing device. An application may determine that a payment field of a form has received focus. The application may then receive encrypted data from a communications interface of a contactless card associated with an account. The application may then receive, from a server, verification of the encrypted data. The application may then receive, from the server, an encrypted account number associated with the account, and decrypt the encrypted account number to yield the account number. An autofill service of an operating system (OS) executing on the processor circuit, may then autofill the account number to the payment field of the form.
TAP CARD TO SECURELY GENERATE CARD DATA TO COPY TO CLIPBOARD
A processor of a computing device may receive, from a contactless card, a uniform resource locator (URL) and a cryptogram. An operating system (OS) executing on the processor may open an application based on the URL. The application may transmit the cryptogram to an authentication server. The application may receive, based on the server verifying the cryptogram, an account number. The application may store the account number in a memory of the device.
Method and system for reloading prepaid card
System and methods for managing value products such as stored value cards are provided. A computer-implemented system comprising: a first value product, wherein a first value product package identifier requires that all of the first value product's digital funds be redeemed in a single transaction; a second value product; and a specially programmed computer server, the methods and system allowing a user to use a portion of the first value product's digital funds in a first transaction and a remainder of the first value product's digital funds in one or more subsequent transactions.
Data security enhancement for online transactions involving payment card accounts
Payment card information of a consumer is protected during online payment card based transactions by equipping a user device of the consumer with a control that, when activated by the consumer during an online shopping session, causes the user device automatically to request and receive, from a third-party payment processing service (PPS), temporary proxy payment card information, and to populate that information into an online transaction web interface of the merchant. The temporary proxy payment card information is associated in the third-party PPS with a real payment card account of the consumer. When the PPS receives a transaction authorization request from a merchant via a payment card network, the PPS uses the consumer's real payment card information to authorize the transaction. The consumer's real payment card information is never exposed to the merchant.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR PAYMENT CARD PRESENCE DETERMINATION
A system and a method for using a payment card account to conduct a transaction are provided. The method includes: receiving a transaction initiation request for conducting a proposed transaction with a merchant; identifying, based on the received transaction initiation request, a payment card account to be used for conducting the proposed transaction; determining, based on the received transaction initiation request, whether first information that includes a cardholder name and an account number has previously been provided to the merchant; and when the first information has previously been provided to the merchant, using the first information to conduct the proposed transaction. The transaction initiation request includes merchant information, identificad on informad on that relates to an object to be purchased, and price information.
PROXIMITY INTERACTION SYSTEM INCLUDING SECURE ENCRYPTION SCHEME
A method is disclosed for conducting a transaction between a computing device and an access device. A server computer may be utilized to facilitate data exchanges between the computing device and the access device. These data exchanges may utilize high-frequency sound signals. The server computer may encrypt at least some portion of data that is then transmitted to the access device via the computing device. The server computer may verify data received from the access device prior to generating and transmitting an authorization request message for the transaction.
CONSTRAINING TRANSACTIONAL CAPABILITIES FOR CONTACTLESS CARDS
Systems, methods, articles of manufacture, and computer-readable media. A communications interface may receive an indication that a server preauthorized a transaction. The communications interface may receive, from a point of sale device, an indication to pay for the transaction. The contactless card may determine, based on rules stored in the memory, that the location of the mobile device is within one or more locations the contactless card is permitted for use. The contactless card may generate transaction data comprising: indications of an account number and an expiration date of the contactless card, and the indication of the preauthorization. The contactless card may transmit the transaction data to the POS device as payment for the transaction. The server may authorize payment for the transaction using at least a portion of the transaction data based at least in part on identifying the indication of the preauthorization in the transaction data.
MOBILE PAYMENT DEVICE AND METHOD OF OPERATION OF THE SAME
A mobile payment device includes a central control unit, an identity authentication module, an input interface, a display module, a security chip, an induction antenna and a cuboid casing. The central control unit is electrically connected to the identity authentication module, the input interface, the display module, and the security chip. The central control unit selects, according to an input signal inputted by a holder of the mobile payment device, one of at least one card information displayed on the display module to allow the selected card information to serve as payment card information and starts the security chip according to a signal inputted by the holder before making payment, thereby allowing the security chip to provide the payment card information to the induction antenna.
