Devices, systems and methods for reconfigurable and/or updatable lightweight embedded devices or systems are disclosed. Via use of such a device, system, or method, various capabilities for a user are provided, simplified, secured, and/or made more convenient. The system may interact with various other devices or systems, including those that are cloud-based or communicate through the cloud, and may utilize various local sensors, in order to provide one or more of improved access, monitoring, or diagnostics, and so forth.

Payment devices having multiple modes of conducting financial transactions

Payment cards and also the systems and methods for securely managing financial transactions using the payment cards are provided. In one implementation, a payment card includes a first component incorporated into a plastic substrate, wherein the first component is configured to provide details of a first substitute account associated with a cardholder's valid credentials. The payment card also includes at least one additional component incorporated into the plastic substrate. Each of the additional components is configured to provide details of at least one additional substitute account associated with the cardholder's valid credentials. Each substitute account includes details that are distinct from the details of each of the other substitute accounts. Also, at least one of the substitute accounts is provided to a merchant for conducting a financial transaction with the merchant.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR USER AUTHENTICATION USING CARD-SWIPE SEQUENCE

Systems and methods for user authentication using an authentication sequence are disclosed. The disclosed systems and methods may include a computing device for authenticating a user. The computing device may include at least one processor and at least one computer-readable medium. The at least one computer-readable medium can containing instructions that, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the computing device to perform operations. The operations may include receiving an authentication sequence provided by one or more authentication objects and authenticating the user based on the authentication sequence. The authentication sequence can be a card-swipe sequence and authentication can be performed based on characteristics of the card-swipe sequence, such as the cards used, the order the cards are used in the sequence, the timing of card use, and the type of card swipe.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PROVIDING TEMPORAL CARD VERIFICATION VALUE (CVV) FOR SECURE ONLINE TRANSACTION PROCESSING

An embodiment of the present invention is directed to a Temporal CVV2 of CVV, which may be represented as a temporary three digit number generated using unique credentials associated with a card product. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the Temporal CVV2 may be generated for each transaction request or other defined set of transactions based on one or more factors, including time period/limit, usage, fraud/risk considerations. With this solution, a customer may request a new Temporal CVV2 each time a purchase is initiated. This may include online purchases, e-commerce transactions, manual link and provision requests, customer authentication for servicing channels, etc. An embodiment of the present invention seeks to mitigate risk and provide a safer and secure solution for customers while providing flexibility to make various purchases before a new card arrives.

Healthcare Transaction Facilitation Platform Apparatuses, Methods and Systems

The Healthcare Transaction Facilitation Platform Apparatuses, Methods and Systems (“HTFP”) transforms payment file and EOP data inputs via HTFP components into ACH request, card generation request, card payment request, ACH CCD+ request, and EOP file outputs. A card generation request associated with a payment to a provider may be obtained via the card generating component via a network. A payment amount and a re-association trace number may be determined by parsing the card generation request. A card for the payment may be generated and the card may be associated with the payment amount and the re-association trace number. A card payment processing request associated with the card may be sent. The card payment processing request may be obtained via the card payment processing component. A Level 3 card payment request that includes the payment amount and the re-association trace number may be generated. A payment request route associated with the card may be determined and the Level 3 card payment request may be pushed via the payment request route.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR CODE DISPLAY AND USE

Embodiments of the present invention relate to systems and methods that allow users to use their communication devices to perform transactions (e.g., payment transactions, access transactions, etc.). To complete a transaction, a resource provider electronically generates a code representing transaction data and displays it on an access device. The user scans the code with his or her communication device using a camera associated with the communication device, for example. The code is interpreted by an application on the communication device. The user may request and receive a token at the communication device corresponding to sensitive information selected to perform the transaction (e.g., a primary account number). The user may then provide the token and the transaction data via the communication device to a server computer, which may facilitate completion of the transaction between the user and the resource provider using the transaction data and the token.

TRANSACTION PROCESSING METHOD, APPARATUS, DEVICE, MEDIUM AND SYSTEM

Transaction processing method, apparatus, device, medium and system are disclosed in the embodiments of the present application. The method includes: acquiring biometric characteristic information of a user; transmitting the biometric characteristic information to a target biometric information server, so that the target biometric information server determines card information of the user according to the biometric characteristic information for feedback; receiving the card information of the user fed back by the target biometric information server; transmitting a transaction request to an authorization server corresponding to the card information, so that the authorization server performs authorization verification on a transaction corresponding to the transaction request; receiving a transaction authorization verification result fed back by the authorization server; and performing the transaction according to the transaction authorization verification result.

Systems and methods for contactless smart card authentication

A method of activating a smart card includes issuing a smart card in a deactivated state such that the smart card is incapable of performing a transaction; receiving an authentication token from a mobile device via a wireless communication of the authentication token from the smart card in the deactivated state to the mobile device; extracting data from the authentication token; confirming the extracted data corresponds to stored data regarding a customer who was issued smart card; and in response to confirming the extracted data, enabling the smart card for a subsequent transaction.

TAP TO AUTOFILL CARD DATA

Various embodiments are generally directed to autofilling card data from a contactless card to a form of a computing device. An application may determine that a payment field of a form has received focus. The application may then receive encrypted data from a communications interface of a contactless card associated with an account. The application may then receive, from a server, verification of the encrypted data. The application may then receive, from the server, an encrypted account number associated with the account, and decrypt the encrypted account number to yield the account number. An autofill service of an operating system (OS) executing on the processor circuit, may then autofill the account number to the payment field of the form.

Systems and methods for validating and processing payment transactions are disclosed. In the embodiments of the invention a first authorization request message and a first verification value are received at a server computer. The verification value is validated and a second authorization request message with a second verification value is generated. The first verification value may be a dynamic value and the second verification value may be static value. The second verification value is associated with portable device used to perform a transaction and it is what the issuer computers of the portable device expect to receive as part of an authorization request message in a payment transaction.
