ON-DEMAND APPLICATIONS TO EXTEND WEB SERVICES

Systems, methods, articles of manufacture, and computer-readable media. A web browser of a device may receive selection of a uniform resource locator (URL). An operating system may download an application from an application server based on the URL. The application may identify a plurality of applications installed on the device and select a first institution corresponding to a first application. The application may receive a cryptogram from a contactless card associated with the first institution and transmit the cryptogram to an authentication server. The application may receive an authentication result specifying the authentication server decrypted the cryptogram. The web browser may receive, based on the decryption of the cryptogram, an account number, an expiration date associated with the account number, and a card verification value (CVV) associated with the account number. The web browser may provide the account number, expiration date, and CVV to a server associated with the application.

USING ON-DEMAND APPLICATIONS TO PROCESS ENCRYPTED DATA FROM A CONTACTLESS CARD

A device may receive, from a contactless card, a uniform resource locator (URL) and encrypted data. The device may download a first application from an application server based on the URL. The device may download and execute the first application. The first application may receive the encrypted data.

Methods and apparatus for conducting secure magnetic stripe card transactions with a proximity payment device

Methods and apparatus for enabling a proximity payment device to generate dynamic data for securely conducting a transaction by emulating a magnetic stripe payment card. In an embodiment, a mobile device processor transmits information to a digital enablement service computer to activate a simulated magnetic stripe payment wallet application stored in the mobile device. The mobile device then receives one or more cryptographic keys, generates an unpredictable number (UN), generates dynamic CVC3 data based on the UN, and then assembles emulated magnetic stripe data. During initiation of a purchase transaction, the mobile device processor transmits the emulated magnetic stripe data to a communications interface associated with a merchant device.

Method for carrying out a transaction, terminal, server and corresponding computer program

A method for processing a transaction of a communications terminal, asking a server, through a communications network, for processing of a transaction involving the use of payment data. The method is implemented within the communications terminal. The method includes: transmitting a request for obtaining a certification code to the payment method whose data is used for the transaction; receiving the certification code coming from the payment method; inserting the certification code into a transaction data structure; transmitting the transaction data structure to the server; and when the certification code received by the server is valid, receiving a piece of data representing the validation of the transaction by the server.

Merchant transaction mirroring for personal point of sale (pPOS) for card present e-commerce and in vehicle transaction

It is desirable for a merchant to not store customer PCI (Payment Card Industry) data in the merchant's system, because this would reduce cost and risk to the merchant. But the merchant still wants access to the customer primary account number (PAN) and other PCI data elements for customer authentication, customer relationship management, etc. Therefore, this specification discloses systems and methods that allow a pPOS (personal Point of Sale) device to create a mirror of the original transaction and provide that to the merchant. Then the merchant would still have access to the customer PAN and other PCI data elements, but there are no PCI or payment data in the mirror transaction, so cost and risk are reduced for the merchant.

STACKABLE INTEGRATED CIRCUIT CARDS

Systems and methods allow for the integrated circuit cards (ICCs) to removably couple to each other and transmit information to an access device as a single device. One among the two or more ICCs coupled together may read data from the remaining ICCs and provide the data to an access device via contactless communication. The ICC may include a substrate; an integrated circuit embedded in the substrate; input ports exposed on a first surface of the substrate, and output ports exposed on a second surface of the substrate. The input ports and the output ports are electrically coupled to the integrated circuit. The output ports are configured to be removably coupled to the input ports of a second ICC.

Systems and methods for image capture signature data storage

A transaction card construction and computer-implemented methods for a transaction card are described. The transaction card has vector formatted visible information lasered onto its surface. In some embodiments, systems and methods are disclosed for enabling the sourcing of visible information using a scalable vector format. The systems and methods may receive a request to add a first plurality of visible information to a transaction card and capture an image of the first plurality of visible information. The systems and methods may also map the image to a bounding box and convert the mapped image into vector format. In addition, the systems and methods may provide the converted image to a laser machine.

Systems and methods for optimizing transaction conversion rate using measured feedback

A method for optimizing transaction authorization conversion rates using measured feedback includes retrieving payment transaction parameters and authorization results for a plurality of past payment transactions from a database, generating a transaction success model comprising authorization success factors for each of a plurality of payment transaction parameters using data science methods for statistical inference based on the retrieved payment transaction parameters and authorization results, receiving, at an acquirer processor, a payment transaction from a merchant, modifying one or more parameters of the payment transaction according to the generated transaction success model, and submitting the modified payment transaction to a financial institution for processing.

Booking management system

Secure authentication and delayed transaction processing for booking management systems is provided. Third-party services partner with booking management systems to aggregate and list offerings of the third-party services in a digestible display on a one-stop platform. A booking management system can manage the authentication of payment card information on behalf of any number of such third-party services. The booking management system can maintain and process authentication information associated with traveler payment cards, and provide virtual payment information to the third-party services for delayed transactions. The third-party services may later initiate the delayed transactions using the virtual payment information, without being required to perform authentication processing on the traveler payment card information maintained by the booking management system.

DIGITAL ASSET DISTRIBUTION BY TRANSACTION DEVICE

A user can associate a digital asset corresponding to a value with a transaction device to be used by another user. For example, a first user can load a digital asset corresponding to a cryptocurrency amount onto a transaction device, where the first user then provides the transaction device to a second user. The second user can utilize the cryptocurrency amount on the transaction device to conduct a transaction. The generation and use of digital assets can be managed using ledgers that store data in the form of block chains.
