Systems, apparatus and methods for mobile companion prepaid card
Methods and systems for a mobile companion prepaid card purchase transaction. In an embodiment, a process includes a wallet provider computer receiving, via an application program interface (API) Web request from an issuer financial institution (FI) processor, mobile companion prepaid card data and purchase transaction data and then verifying the availability of funds in a mobile wallet prepaid card account. The process also includes authorizing the purchase transaction based on the verification, debiting an open to buy amount of the mobile companion prepaid card account, and then transmitting a purchase transaction authorization response to the issuer FI processor.
Dynamic Card Verification Values and Credit Transactions
A system and method for providing card verification values for card-not-present transactions is described. In one example, a user's computing device stores single-use CVVs to be provided from a secure wallet. The secure wallet may be software running on the user's computing device. Alternatively, it may be an external device connectable to the user's computing device, which accesses the external device to obtain the single-use CVV.
Systems and methods for image capture vector format lasering engine
A transaction card construction and computer-implemented methods for a transaction card are described. The transaction card has vector formatted visible information lasered onto its surface. In some embodiments, systems and methods are disclosed for electronically verifying information on a transaction card. The systems and methods may receive a request to provide a verification status for the transaction card and first visible information comprising a signature of a customer written on a point-of-sale terminal. The systems and methods may also receive second visible information comprising a vector representation of a user signature on a transaction card. In addition, the systems and methods may determine the verification status based on a comparison of the first visible information to the second visible information and send the verification status.
Multi-point authentication for payment transactions
Authentication for payment transaction includes receiving, by a point-of-sale (POS) terminal, an indication that a payment account of a cardholder is associated with a mobile device and receiving a second indication of physical possession of a payment card by a merchant. The authentication includes receiving a purchase request for an authorization of exchange from the payment account of the cardholder to the merchant and assigning a transaction identifier to the request for the authorization of the exchange. The authentication includes transmitting the request for authorization of the exchange from the cardholder payment account to the merchant and the transaction identifier. The authentication includes receiving an indication that an authentication identifier is associated with the transaction identifier. The authentication includes receiving a copy of the authentication identifier, facilitated by the cardholder. The authentication includes receiving validation that the copy of the authentication identifier matches the authentication identifier.
SECURE PAYMENT
There is provided a computer-implemented method for making a payment transaction. The method comprises receiving (510) payment information from a first party of the transaction, the payment information including a first portion of authentication information of a financial instrument from which the payment is to be made; determining (520) a second portion of the authentication information; determining (530) the authentication information of the financial instrument based on the first portion and the second portion of the authentication information; and causing (540) the payment to be made from the financial instrument by using the authentication information.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR REGULATING ACCESS TO DATA STORED IN A DATA SOURCE
A regulated account-on-file billing updater (ABU) computing device for regulating an account information data source and verifying access to the account information data source is provided. The regulated ABU computing device receives account data from an issuer, the account data corresponding to a cardholder, and stores the account data in an account information data source based on an account identifier associated with the cardholder. The regulated ABU computing device receives an update request from a merchant, the update request including the account identifier and requesting the account data of the cardholder, and verifies the update request in response to receiving the update request by applying at least one verification rule and determining that the merchant is a verified merchant. The regulated ABU computing device also generates an update response, the update response including the account data of the cardholder, and transmits the update response to the verified merchant.
A METHOD TO VALIDATE A DYNAMIC SECURITY CODE IN A PAYMENT TRANSACTION
This invention related to a method to validate a dynamic security code generated for a payment transaction, said method comprising the steps of: providing for a given payment transaction a dynamic security code associated to an identifier of said transaction; verifying using a verification memory if the provided dynamic security code has already been validated when associated to the same associated identifier; if not, verifying the validity of the provided dynamic security code; if the provided dynamic security code is valid, memorizing in the verification memory the provided dynamic security code, the associated identifier of the payment transaction.
METHOD AND DEVICE FOR DIGITAL PAYMENT TRANSACTIONS
A method and device for digital payment transactions is provided. A method for encoding data for use in a digital payment transaction between a cardholder and a merchant includes generating, by a cardholder electronic device, dynamic magnetic stripe data associated with a digital payment card of a digital wallet application stored in a data storage module of the cardholder electronic device, retrieving merchant-related data stored in the data storage module of the cardholder electronic device, and encoding, by the cardholder electronic device, the generated dynamic magnetic stripe data and the retrieved merchant-related data in a machine-readable visual code for use in the digital payment transaction.
INTEGRATION OF VERIFICATION TOKENS WITH MOBILE COMMUNICATION DEVICES
A method is disclosed. The method includes receiving, from a user device via near field communications, a cryptogram, the cryptogram associated with a primary account number. The method includes transmitting, by the computer, to a server computer over a communications network comprising the Internet or a cellular phone network, a request for dynamic account information associated with the primary account number, the request including the cryptogram, wherein the server computer receives the cryptogram and then obtains and sends the dynamic account information to the computer. The method includes receiving, from the server computer over the communications network comprising the Internet or the cellular phone network, the dynamic account information. The method includes conducting, with a merchant computer, a payment transaction using the dynamic account information.
Systems and methods for phone-based card activation
Example embodiments of systems and methods for data transmission between a contactless card, a client device, and one or more servers are provided. The contactless card may include one or more processors and memory. The memory may include one or more applets. The client device may include one or more processors and memory. The client device may be in data communication with the contactless card. One or more servers may be in data communication with the client device. A first set of information may be transmitted from the contactless card to the client device. The first set of information may include one or more links to activate the contactless card.
