Multiple parallel delineated topics of a conversation within the same virtual assistant

Provided are embodiments for a computer-implemented method for interacting with a user by an automated response system supporting topic switching and information collection. The computer-implemented method includes receiving a plurality of utterances from the user by the automated response system, and analyzing the utterances to form a first topic thread and an information collection objective. The computer-implemented method also includes utilizing an information collection user interface to gather data to support the information collection objective, and providing responses to the user after the gathered data related to the first topic thread. Also provided are embodiments for a system and computer program product for implementing the techniques described herein.

Timing a notification of an online financial event

A method and apparatus for timing a notification of an online financial event are disclosed. A sender initiates a financial transaction involving a recipient, such as a transfer payment to the recipient, by sending a message to the recipient and a computer system. The computer system obtains contact information for the sender and recipient from the message, and determines that the financial transaction cannot be completed without additional information from, e.g., the sender. The computer system sends a message to the sender requesting the additional information, and determines a period of time to wait before notifying the recipient that the transfer payment was initiated. If the period of time expires without the sender providing the additional information, the computer system sends the notification message. However, if the sender responds within the period of time, no notification message is sent, thereby avoiding the sending of a potentially unnecessary message.

METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR RELOADING PREPAID CARD

System and methods for managing value products such as stored value cards are provided. A computer-implemented system comprising: a first value product, wherein a first value product package identifier requires that all of the first value product's digital funds be redeemed in a single transaction; a second value product; and a specially programmed computer server, the methods and system allowing a user to use a portion of the first value product's digital funds in a first transaction and a remainder of the first value product's digital funds in one or more subsequent transactions.

HOSTED SENSITIVE DATA FORM FIELDS FOR COMPLIANCE WITH SECURITY STANDARDS

Systems and methods providing, by a third party, input form fields for sensitive data on a web page provided by an organization. A user may request a web page from an organization, such as a merchant's checkout web page, that requires entry of sensitive data. The merchant's checkout web page may include reference to a script file that provides hosted sensitive data form fields. In response to rendering the merchant web page in a web browser of the user, a request to provide sensitive data form fields on the merchant web page may be received. The request may include a call to a function in a scripting file provided by the third party, and the provided file may cause one or more inline frames to be rendered in the web browser, each inline frame including a sensitive data form field. Data entered by the user in the sensitive data form fields may be received by a third party payment processor device.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR IDENTITY VERIFICATION

Representative embodiments set forth techniques for verifying an identity of a primary user of a primary account on a client device. A method may include receiving, for the primary account, a request for identity verification responsive to an action of a secondary account associated with the primary account and identifying a payment registration characteristic of a payment registration associated with the primary account. The method also includes retrieving identity information associated with the primary account based on the payment registration characteristic and, in response to a determination that the identity information corresponds to a verification indicator, verifying an identity of a user of the primary account. The method also includes, in response to verifying the identity of the user of the primary account, generating a payment verification token and associating the payment verification token with an authorization indication for the action of the secondary account.

There is provided a transaction device comprising a chip enclosure comprising a readable reference code; a chip embedded in the chip enclosure, the chip having the reference code stored therein; wherein the chip is configured to generate a cryptographically signed version of the reference code stored in the chip upon receipt of a request message, such that the reference code can be retrieved from the cryptographically signed version of the reference code for comparison with the readable reference code. There is also provided a method of a manufacturing a transaction device, wherein the method comprises storing a reference code in a chip; positioning the chip on a chip enclosure; embedding the chip in the chip enclosure; and applying the reference code to the chip enclosure in a readable format.

INTELLIGENT TRANSACTION PRE-AUTHORIZATION USING A BROWSER EXTENSION

A computer-implemented method may be used for intelligent transaction pre-authorization using a browser extension. The method may including detecting user navigation by a user of a vendor web page, the vendor web page being associated with a vendor and detecting at least one input field of the vendor web page. Additionally, the method may include determining based on the at least one input field of the vendor web page, that the user is attempting a transaction with the vendor and determining information regarding the vendor based on the vendor web page. Additionally, the method may include executing a program to display on the vendor web page a request for the user to pre-authorize the transaction prior to completing the transaction and receiving, by the one or more processors, an indication from the user to pre-authorize the transaction. Additionally, the method may include receiving payment information of the user and processing the transaction between the user and the vendor.
