Method of access to a local service of a device communicating via a terminal
A method of access to a local service of a device communicating via a terminal, the method comprising steps of: access to the service via an access terminal by a communicating device; reading by the access terminal of data of the communicating device, the data being personal data relating to the communicating device and/or third-party service data; writing by the access terminal of the data of the communicating device, the third-party data written being chosen from among a set of third-party service data, the choice of the third-party data to be written by the access terminal being dependent on the choosing criteria.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR ALLOCATING AND TRANSACTING WITH MULTIPLE NON-FINANCIAL COMMODITIES
A method for conducting an offline, commodity-based transaction includes: storing program data for benefit programs, wherein the program data includes a program identifier and plurality of commodity pairs for the respective program, each commodity pair including a commodity code and balance; receiving a data request from a point of sale device, the request including a specific program identifier; identifying program data the specific program identifier; transmitting the identified program data to the point of sale device; receiving transaction data from the point of sale device, the transaction data including purchased commodity pairs, each purchased commodity pair including a commodity code and purchased amount; and updating the program data for the benefit program that corresponds to the specific program identifier by deducting the balance included in each commodity pair corresponding to a purchased commodity pair based on the respective commodity codes by the associated purchased amount.
LIMITED USE TEMPORARY CREDIT ACCOUNT
A limited use temporary credit account is disclosed. The method includes displaying, on a display of a mobile device, a temporary credit account, the temporary credit account correlated with a newly approved non-integrated credit account, the temporary credit account including: a temporary account number; a temporary expiration date; and a temporary security code. Incorporating a time constraint into the temporary credit account displayed on the mobile device, the time constraint limiting an amount of time the temporary credit account is displayed on the mobile device and limiting an amount of time the temporary credit account is available for making a purchase. Integrating a credit limit reduction into the temporary credit account displayed on the mobile device, the credit limit reduction reducing an available credit on the temporary credit account to an amount less than a credit available on the newly approved non-integrated credit account.
Secure purchase verification for fund transfers
A method and system of increasing the security of requests to access funds from a joint bank account by secondary users in order to permit a primary user to securely regulate fund usage are disclosed. The system and method are configured to link to a bank account and restrict the access of funds by secondary users per conditions defined by the primary user(s). An application can be accessed via a computing device that receives requests for funds from secondary users and requires the secondary user to also submit a digital image or video that supports their proposed transaction. The request will only be conveyed to the primary user if the necessary digital verification is received by the system.
REAL-TIME VALUATION DISPLAY FOR TRANSACTION CARDS
A method includes determining a value amount associated with a transaction card having an optical code. The method also includes, based on a transaction involving the transaction card, updating the value amount. The method also includes determining that the optical code has been read. Responsive to the optical code being read, the method includes causing a display associated with the transaction card to render the value amount.
DIGITAL ASSET CONVERSION
A method of converting digital assets into a transaction currency is described that it suitable for use in a transaction system that is not adapted for transactions using the digital assets. The digital assets are stored so that they can be used with one or more exchanges adapted for conversion of the digital assets into the transaction currency. A balance in the transaction currency is established for use by a payment device. Rules are established for maintaining the transaction currency balance. When required by the rules for maintaining the transaction currency balance, digital assets are converted into the transaction currency at the one or more exchanges for maintaining the transaction currency balance in the transaction currency for use by the payment device. A suitable service is also described.
Method for querying information in visual smart card and visual smart card
A method for querying information in a visual smart card, comprising: a micro control unit receiving, by means of an input device, a query request inputted by a user (S1); the micro control unit determining information queried by a user request according to a received query request (S2); if first information, the micro control unit reading a first information record which is stored thereby, and parsing the first information record to obtain the first information, the first information being displayed by means of a display device (S3); if second information, the micro control unit sending an application selection instruction to a smart card chip, receiving an application selection response returned by the smart card chip, then sending an information record reading instruction to the smart card chip, receiving a second information record returned by the smart card chip, and parsing the second information record to obtain the second information, the second information being displayed by means of the display device (S4). A visual smart card applicable to said method overcomes the shortcomings in the existing technology wherein the assistance of other devices is required, while carrying out querying by means of operating a smart card directly facilitates a holder of a smart card understanding information in the smart card, improving the ease of use of smart cards.
VALUE TRANSFER BETWEEN DISPARATE SYSTEMS
Various embodiments herein each include at least one of systems, methods, and software for value transfer between disparate systems. One such embodiment includes receiving a transfer request to transfer a value from a first account provider to an account maintained with a second account provider and including data identifying an individual or entity that initiated the transfer request. This method also includes identifying the second account provider based on data included in the transfer request and generating a request to transfer the value of the transfer request to the account in a format compatible with the second account provider. The method may then transmit the generated request to the second account provider.
Virtual money balance bypass inquiry method, system and computer-readable storage medium
Provided is a virtual money balance bypass inquiry method, comprising: receiving a purchase demand submitted by a client, wherein the purchase demand contains the sum to be paid; receiving a balance inquiry request which is transmitted by the client in asynchronous mode, wherein the balance inquiry request contains the sum to be paid; inquiring the balance of a user account according to the balance inquiry request, and obtaining a result flag by comparing the balance of the user account with the sum to be paid; returning the result flag to the client in asynchronous mode.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR A LOCKOUT MECHANISM TO PREVENT OPERATING A SYSTEM IN REAL-TIME
A technique is provided that dynamically controls the speed at which a mobile device user can use funds. More specifically, the technique provides a lockout mechanism, which temporarily prevents the mobile device user from accessing and thus spending the funds.
