Method and Apparatus for Facilitating Financial Transactions Backed by Crypto Assets
A method of processing a customer transaction may include receiving an indication of a transaction between a customer and a vendor, checking a first account status of a first account associated with a first currency type and a second account status of a second account associated with a second currency type, determining whether to accept or decline the transaction based on a combination of the first and second account statuses, and, if the transaction is accepted, authorizing a transfer of funds to the vendor and engaging the customer with respect to a repayment strategy that includes repayment options funded from selected ones of the first currency type or the second currency type.
DIGITAL VOUCHER MARKETPLACE
A voucher marketplace system comprising a control server, a platform database, and a plurality of user devices operated by users corresponding to buyer accounts and seller accounts. The voucher marketplace system allows digital vouchers to be created by the seller accounts and purchased by the buyer accounts at a virtual price. Each digital voucher can redeemed by the owning buyer account to trigger execution of a commercial transaction via an e-commerce platform, or be sold to another buyer account. Each digital voucher may have claim parameters which modify the virtual price and define effective execution periods during which the digital voucher is redeemable, whereby the virtual price is reduced by a lead period discount when sold prior to the effective execution period, The voucher marketplace system further presents pricing data reports which compare the virtual price of the digital vouchers against a market price corresponding to completed voucher sale transactions.
Payment processing system for applying merchant promotions to a push payment transaction
Described herein is a computing device for applying merchant promotions to a push payment transaction. The computing device includes a processor and a memory. The processor is configured to receive a promotion request message. The promotion request message includes a merchant ID and an initial push payment transaction amount. The processor retrieves, from the memory, a merchant promotion and applies the retrieved merchant promotion to an initial transaction amount to determine an updated transaction amount. The processor then transmits a promotion response message, receives an authorization message and initiates a transfer of funds. The promotion response message includes the merchant ID and the updated transaction amount. The authorization message authorizes the push payment transaction in the updated transaction amount. The funds are transferred in the updated payment amount from the user account with the originating institution to the merchant account at the receiving institution.
Real-time payment system, method, apparatus, and computer program
Tracking account positions in a real-time payments system is provided. Each of a plurality of participants is linked to a funding agent account via an ACH network, thereby creating a plurality of linked participants. Each of the plurality of linked participants is provided access to a current prefunded position of the funding agent through the ACH network. An unsettled financial position of each of the plurality of participants is compared to the current prefunded position of the funding agent. A determination is made whether to perform a financial settlement for a corresponding one of the plurality of participants based on the comparison. The financial settlement for the corresponding participant is performed when it is determined that the unsettled financial position of the corresponding participant is not greater than the current prefunded position of the funding agent.
Conducting Secure Fragmented Payment Transactions
Aspects of the disclosure relate to fragmenting payment transactions. Based a virtual assistant establishing an active session with a voice activated device, a computing platform may receive, from the virtual assistant, a request initiated at the voice activated device for a payment transaction. The computing platform may retrieve user identifying information associated with fragmenting payment transactions for determining whether to fragment the payment transaction between a plurality of user accounts. In determining to fragment the payment transaction, the computing platform may generate allocation information indicating an amount of funds to be transferred from each of the plurality of user accounts. The computing platform may cause the voice activated device to prompt the user to confirm the allocation information. The computing platform may transfer funds to a recipient account in accordance with the allocation information and send a notification indicating completed processing of the fragmented payment transaction.
System and method for targeted marketing and consumer resource management
Systems and methods are provided for providing targeted marketing to goods and services provides and consumer resource management services to consumers. An example system and method for targeted marketing comprises collecting transaction data from point-of-sale (POS) terminals and using a consumer identifier in the transaction data to access stored information about the consumer. This information may be used to target offers and advertisement to the consumer. In an example system for consumer resource management, a consumer may configure a consumer account on the enterprise infrastructure via a web-site. The consumer may use the consumer account to purchase and configure gift cards that may be used for purchasing goods and services. A universal transaction identifier may be associated with the consumer account and used to purchase goods and services from more than one selected goods and services providers.
Automatic Alerting Communications Systems and Methods
A system includes a user device and a computing system. The user device accesses a plurality of images captured by a camera and identifies, from the plurality of images, a particular image that depicts a portion of a user interaction object. The user device transmits the particular image across a wireless communications network. The computing system accesses the particular image depicting the portion of the user interaction object and determines a data item from the particular image. The computing system compares the data item to one or more accounts of the user and sends instructions to the user device to automatically display an alert message on the electronic display based on the comparison of the data item to the one or more accounts.
OPTIMIZED DUNNING USING MACHINE-LEARNED MODEL
In an example embodiment, information about one or more failed payment attempts via an electronic payment processing system is obtained. One or more features are extracted from the information. Then, for each of a plurality of potential candidate retry time points, the one or more features and the potential candidate retry time point are fed into a dunning model, the dunning model trained via a machine-learning algorithm to produce a dunning score indicative of a likelihood that a retry attempt at an input retry time point will result in a successful payment processing. The dunning scores for the plurality of potential candidate retry time points are used to select a desired retry time point. Then the electronic payment processing system is caused to attempt to reprocess a payment associated with one of the failed payment attempts at a time matching the desired retry time point.
Systems and methods for providing, reloading, and redeeming stored value cards used in transit applications
The invention is directed to systems and methods of conducting transactions associated with a transit card. A method of conducting transactions may be conducted between a processor and a transit processor. Steps may include receiving a redemption request and determining if it is a pre-authorization request or a redemption; if the redemption request is a pre-authorization request, determining if the account is authorized for a particular transit type. If the account is authorized, communicating approval to the transit processor. If the account is not authorized communicating denial. If the redemption request is a redemption: determining if account value is sufficient to pay the redemption amount; if not, denying and if so approving the transaction and deducting the amount, and determining if the account value is below a pre-determined threshold for a particular transit types, and if so, updating the status of the account at a data store.
Scenario gamification to provide improved mortgage and securitization
Systems and processes for the gamification of data, including providing scenarios and actionable elements to execute a preferred scenario. Embodiments can include a credit modification software tool that is configured to automate the transmission of one or more messages to effectuate modification of a credit score associated with a user. The system can determine accounts eligible for improvements, application amounts, time to apply, and determine the effect on user's credit score. Embodiments can include scenarios for increasing a user's credit score where funds are not available by applying for a loan to reduce rolling debts, thereby providing a net increase credit score. Loans can be negotiated based on the resulting credit score and autonomously implement. A universal payment system is disclosed to retrieve data and determine a transaction model, which determines the accounts to be used, in which order, and how much to be applied, in order to benefit a credit score.
