SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR PERFORMING FUNDS FREEZE AND/OR FUNDS SEIZURE WITH RESPECT TO PREPAID PAYMENT CARDS
Systems, mechanisms and processes are provided to allow law-enforcement officials, when encountering the potential use of prepaid payment cards in the furtherance of a crime or in relation to criminal activities, to (1) attempt to check the balances on such prepaid payment cards, including the ability to perform aggregate balance checks on a group of such prepaid cards, (2) attempt to freeze the funds on such prepaid payment cards, and/or (3) attempt to seize the funds on such prepaid payment cards.
CACHED BALANCE INSPECTION IN REAL-TIME CARD TRANSACTIONS
A transaction processing server may include a set of stored program rules specific to a supplier account and a cached balance value for a card account associated with an end user. The transaction processing server may receive an authorization request for a transaction between the end user and the supplier account. Additionally, the transaction processing server may send an approval request with transaction details to a supplier computer for approval to complete the transaction by the supplier account. The transaction processing server may also determine that the supplier computer is offline and, in response, determine to approve the authorization request at the transaction processing server on behalf of the supplier account based on the set of stored program rules specific to the supplier account and the cached balance value for the card account.
PAY WITH POINTS VIRTUAL CARD
A method includes receiving a payment request for a transaction between a merchant and a customer. The payment request includes a payment token and an amount of the transaction in currency. The rewards account stores a number of rewards points. The method includes authenticating the payment request. The method includes determining a currency conversion value for the rewards points. The currency conversion value is based on a conversion rate and a merchant multiplier. The method includes determining the number of rewards points is not enough to cover the transaction. The method includes identifying a secondary payment source that contains sufficient funds to cover a remaining balance of the transaction. The method includes transmitting an approval message to a merchant computing system.
Intelligent Shared Cryogenic Physical Therapy System
The embodiments of the invention provide an intelligent shared cryogenic physical therapy system, including cryogenic physical therapy devices, human-machine interaction devices and a server. The server is configured to acquire target location information and recommend a cryogenic physical therapy device based on a relationship between the target location information and pre-recorded location information of each of the cryogenic physical therapy devices; and send a use request to a human-machine interaction device when a target cryogenic physical therapy device is selected and it is determined that the account balance meets a fee deduction condition. The human-machine interaction device can acquire the use request and generate the control instruction. A programmable controller of the cryogenic physical therapy device is configured to control the physical therapy module to perform an operation indicated by the control instruction when receiving the control instruction. After finishing the cryogenic physical therapy, the human-machine interaction device is configured to send a fee deduction request to the server, so that the server can update the account balance when receiving the fee deduction request. The user does not need to go to a specific service merchant, and can select a suitable cryogenic physical therapy device according to actual conditions.
Monitoring account usage to provide transaction retry notifications
The disclosure herein describes providing transaction retry notifications to merchants based on monitored account usage. An insufficient funds message of a first transaction is received that indicates the first transaction includes a payment to be provided to a merchant from an account and that the account has insufficient funds for the first transaction. An account identifier of the account is stored and a transaction message of a second transaction associated with the account is detected based on the stored account identifier. The transaction message indicates that the account has sufficient funds for the second transaction. Based on detecting the transaction message, a transaction retry notification is sent to the merchant, whereby the merchant is notified that the account with which the first transaction is associated includes a quantity of funds. The disclosure enables merchants to optimize the timing or retrying failed transactions and thereby reduce costs associated with transaction retries.
Automatic alerting communications systems and methods
A system includes a user device and a computing system. The user device accesses a plurality of images captured by a camera and identifies, from the plurality of images, a particular image that depicts a portion of a user interaction object. The user device transmits the particular image across a wireless communications network. The computing system accesses the particular image depicting the portion of the user interaction object and determines a data item from the particular image. The computing system compares the data item to one or more accounts of the user and sends instructions to the user device to display an alert message on the electronic display based on the comparison of the data item to the one or more accounts.
Post-purchase credit offer and tender switch
Disclosed embodiments may provide a framework to implement post-purchase tender switches. For example, following a transaction made with a particular payment instrument, a customer may be offered the ability to apply for a preferred payment instrument and/or to switch his or her tender type to the preferred payment instrument for the previous transaction.
Systems and methods for electronic database communications
A system for managing a financial account in a low cash mode. The system may include a memory storing instructions, and a processor configured to execute the instructions to perform operations. The operations may include providing an interface; providing a notification to a user when a balance in the first account is deemed to be in low cash mode; presenting, when the first account balance is deemed to be in low cash mode, an option for a transfer request; receiving, a selection of the option for the transfer request to connect the first account with a second account; transferring funds from the second account to the first account; notifying the user that funds have been transferred from the second account to the first account; and further notifying the user that the balance in the first account is greater than the threshold value.
Systems and methods for integrating web platforms with mobile device operations
