Proposed is a scalable and computationally light approach to validating blockchains called the Catastrophic Dissent Mechanism (CDM). CDM uses anonymous actors who are free to join and leave the system as they please. The mechanism gives all actors strong incentives to behave honestly, both as individuals, and as members of coalitions who might benefit in compromising the integrity of the blockchain. As a result, CDM offers users Strategically Provable Security (SPS). CDM provides a foundation to create an ecosystem of federated chains which can share heterogeneous tokens using different business logic. As a result, new instances of chains can be created to serve as inexpensive, scalable platforms for a wide variety of blockchain applications and to provide a path for existing instances to be upgraded or altered without the use of hard forks or breaking the rule that code is law.

Synchronization consensus token system and method

A method includes receiving, by a first computer from a second computer, a stateless API request message comprising update value data, a consensus token, and a user identifier. The first computer determines whether or not the consensus token matches a previously stored consensus token. If the consensus token matches the previously stored consensus token, the first computer retrieves stored value data from a value data database based on the user identifier. The first computer then updates the stored value data with the update value data. The first computer generates an API response message comprising an indication of the update. The first computer transmits, to the second computer, the API response message.

Facilitation of real-time payment network transactions

A request for payment message is received. The message includes transaction data. A transaction identifier is generated. The transaction data is stored in association with the transaction identifier. The transaction identifier is transmitted to an acquirer bank. A request to retrieve data is received from a payer's bank. The request to retrieve data includes the transaction identifier. At least some of the transaction data is transmitted to the payer's bank. A confirmation is received from the payer's bank. The confirmation indicates that a real-time payment has been made in accordance with the request for payment message.

RAPID APPROVAL OF BLOCKCHAIN-BASED TRANSACTIONS
20230162175 · 2023-05-25 ·

The present disclosure involves systems, software, and computer implemented methods for providing rapid approval of blockchain-based transactions. This includes approval of transactions prior to the transaction being written to the blockchain. A transaction system can register with a transaction manager, such as a cloud-based or cloud transaction manager, which can maintain a queue of pending transactions and provide approval for transactions in real-time or near real-time, while later verifying the pending transactions are written into the blockchain as expected. This allows the transaction system to securely confirm the transaction is approved prior to the transaction being written in the blockchain, based on a real-time or near real-time analysis of each customer's corresponding account and transactions.

SCORING TRUSTWORTHINESS, COMPETENCE, AND/OR COMPATIBILITY OF ANY ENTITY FOR ACTIVITIES INCLUDING RECRUITING OR HIRING DECISIONS, COMPOSING A TEAM, INSURANCE UNDERWRITING, CREDIT DECISIONS, OR SHORTENING OR IMPROVING SALES CYCLES
20230116362 · 2023-04-13 ·

Systems and methods for recruiting, counter-terrorism/security, insurance underwriting, sales and marketing improvement, decisioning financial transactions and collections, and social scoring are provided. Machine learning can assign connectivity values to other community members, including individuals, companies, products, brands, cities or neighborhoods, etc. Connectivity values may be automatically harvested from or assigned by third parties or based on the frequency and/or type of interactions between community members. Connectivity values may represent such factors as alignment, reputation within the community, degree of trust, competence at one or more skills, or compatibility with others. The degree and type of connectivity between two entities may be assessed by computing a connectivity value based upon connections between entities and relative or absolute trust, competence and/or compatibility features of the connections. Connectivity values identify best prospects (customers, hires, dates), find off-grid people, underwrite insurance, ‘decision’ loans & collections, shorten sales cycles, etc.

Systems and methods for determining a provider-specific likelihood of payment acceptance

Embodiments of the application are directed toward a method comprising: receiving, by a transaction management computing apparatus, an electronic payment estimate via a secure communication channel for services rendered by a provider; receiving determining a likelihood of payment acceptance by generating, by the transaction management computing apparatus, an payment amount acceptable to the provider computing device based on data associated with the provider computing device, a type of service provided, or a number of days to make the payment; determining, by the transaction management computing apparatus, whether the generated exact amount is acceptable to the provider computing device; and completing, by the transaction management computing apparatus, a payment transaction with the generated exact amount when the generated exact amount is determined to be acceptable to the provider computing device.

System and method for providing real time financial account information using event driven architecture

A system and method of providing real time account information for financial accounts is disclosed. The system includes an event based architecture including an event stream. Financial transaction processing systems publish transaction events to the event stream. A transaction service listening to the event stream detects new transaction events. The transaction service takes action to enrich transaction data. A middleware system reconciles existing transactions and persists transaction records in long term storage. The system can retrieve real time enriched transaction data to calculate account summary information, including current account balances and projected future account balances. The system can also be used to provide real time notifications to customers using enriched transaction data.

ELECTRONIC APPARATUS FOR PROCESSING ITEM SALES INFORMATION AND METHOD THEREOF

Disclosed is a method of processing item sales information by an electronic apparatus, the method including obtaining a purchase request, which includes item information related to an item selected by a user and information related to a payment option, providing, when the item information corresponding to the item and the information related to the payment option satisfy a first condition, the user with a purchase response, which includes approval information corresponding to the purchase request, in response to the purchase request, prior to payment of the item by the user through the payment option, generating release request information for the item, and generating settlement information corresponding to the cost of the item, wherein the cost of the item is settled with the seller on the basis of the settlement information.

Offline authorization of airline ticketing requests

A method and system may reduce latency and improve connectivity by performing offline authorization of products and services related to airline reservations. A server device may receive a request for a product or service related to an airline reservation from a user including payment information for the user and may transmit the payment information to a payment service provider for authorization. In response to identifying an outage at the payment service provider, the server device generates a temporary approval code indicative of a successful payment to prevent latency during the outage at the payment service provider and stores transaction data including a representation of the payment information for the user in an offline database. The server device proceeds as if payment was successful and provides an order confirmation message to the user's client device indicating that the product or service has been reserved for the user.
