METHOD, PROGRAM, AND APPARATUS FOR IDENTIFYING DEVICE BY USING CHIP UNIQUE VALUE-BASED VIRTUAL CODE
Embodiments of the present invention provide a method, program, and apparatus that may identify a device by using a virtual code generated based on a unique value of a chip inside a device without a separate procedure for identifying the device. Furthermore, embodiments of the present invention provide a method, program, and apparatus that may generate a virtual code, which is not matched with any other code, whenever a code for identifying a device is requested. Moreover, embodiments of the present invention provide a method, program, and apparatus for identifying a device that may add and use only an algorithm without changing a conventional process.
Systems and methods for bill payment using transaction cards within a financial institution payment platform
Described herein are card-based bill payment systems and methods enabling bill payment using a transaction card within a consumer financial institution (CFI) payment platform and enabling real-time payment confirmation messaging is provided. The bill payment system includes a bill pay exchange (BPX) computing system that receives a payment initiation message from a CFI, the payment initiation message including tokenized payment credentials associated with a transaction card used to initiate a bill payment transaction with the CFI, a bill payment amount, and a biller identifier. The BPX computing system also identifies a biller service provider (BSP) associated with the biller, and transmit the payment initiation message to the BSP to initiate authorization of the bill payment transaction. The bill payment system further includes a payment processing network associated with the BPX computing system and configured to implement authorization of the bill payment transaction according to a card-based transaction model.
Code generation and tracking for automatic data synchronization in a data management system
There are provided systems and methods for code generation and tracking for automatic data synchronization in a data management system. A user associated with an entity, such as an employee of an organization, may purchase an item utilizing a payment instrument or card provided by the organization. In order to provide proper expense allocation, the organization may require receipt matching and storage per use of the payment instrument. An expense management system may provide digital code generation and output on a corresponding physical or digital receipt so that when the receipt is provided to the expense management system, the codes may be matched to backend data stored by the system. The receipts may be processed by extracting text data from an image of a receipt to determine the codes. The codes may then be used to search a database of codes to match to digital transaction data.
Systems and methods for convenient and secure mobile transactions
Systems and methods for conducting convenient and secure mobile transactions between a payment terminal and a mobile device, e.g., in a fueling environment, are disclosed herein. In some embodiments, the payment terminal and the mobile device conduct a mutual authentication process that, if successful, produces a session key which can be used to encrypt sensitive data to be exchanged between the payment terminal and the mobile device. Payment and loyalty information can be securely communicated from the mobile device to the payment terminal using the session key. This can be done automatically, without waiting for the user to initiate a transaction, to shorten the overall transaction time. The transaction can also be completed without any user interaction with the mobile device, increasing the user's convenience since the mobile device can be left in the user's pocket, purse, vehicle, etc.
PAYER-CONTROLLED PAYMENT PROCESSING
A method for payment authorization includes receiving, from a payer device registered with a payer identification merchant identification and transaction information transmitted to the payer device from a merchant device registered with the merchant identification and the payer identification. The method further includes deriving a transaction request from the payer identification and the transaction information; transmitting the transaction request to an acquirer system, receiving an authorization from the acquirer system for a transaction referred to by the transaction information and transmitting transaction approval codes for the transaction to the merchant device based upon the authorization.
SYSTEM FOR VALUE LOADING ONTO IN-VEHICLE DEVICE
Various embodiments are directed to using a near-filed communication (NFC) contactless card to perform one or more transactions within a vehicle. For example, a user may load value (money, funds, digital currency, etc.) onto an in-vehicle device (transponder, badge, card, etc.) by performing one-tap authentication or one-tap payment, or both, via the contactless card. Thus, even under time-constrained circumstances, payment may be loaded to the in-vehicle device in a quick, efficient, and safe manner.
PAYMENT CARD BENEFIT VALUE ESTIMATOR SYSTEM AND METHOD WITH TRANSACTION-BASED INDIVIDUAL CARDHOLDER RELEVANCE OF SELECTABLE BENEFITS
A payment card benefit assessment system and method includes a computing device accepting payment card benefit catalog information from a payment card issuer and payment card transaction data from a payment card processing network. The payment card transaction data is analyzed to group cardholders into one demographic clusters and to determine an estimated benefit value for each of the demographic clusters. Individualized payment card benefit options are presented to an individual cardholder based on the individual cardholder's payment card transactions and the determined estimated benefit value for a corresponding one of the plurality of demographic clusters.
Smart node to node payment systems
Methods for smartwatch-to-smartwatch payment systems is provided. Methods include receiving a transfer of funds initiation at a first smartwatch. The transfer of funds initiation may include an identifier, an amount and a personal identification number (“PIN”). Methods include transmitting the transfer of funds initiation from the first smartwatch to a second smartwatch. Methods may include receiving a notification on the second smartwatch. The notification may include a first smartwatch telephone number and the transfer of funds initiation. Methods may include transmitting a transfer of funds request from the second smartwatch to an entity. The transfer of funds request may include the first smartwatch telephone number, the transfer of funds initiation and the second smartwatch telephone number. Methods may include retrieving a first account and a second account from the entity. Methods may include transferring funds from the first account to the second account.
SYSTEM FOR INQUIRING, GATHERING, PRIVATELY STORING, BROKERING, AND REQUESTING DELETION OF PERSONAL DATA FROM THIRD PARTY ENTITIES
This disclosure describes a system for managing personal information of a user that is stored on a third-party server. The system requests personal information for a user stored on a third-party server. The system receives the personal information for the user from the third-party server. The system markets the personal information for the user on behalf of the user.
Method and System for Generating Payment Request Message Based on Preferred Payment Method
A computer-implemented method for generating a payment request message based on a preferred payment method is proposed. The computer system facilitates communication of transaction messages between a merchant server and an interoperability server. A first payment request message is received from the merchant server for transaction between a user and a merchant. A payment method is selected from a group comprising a plurality of merchant preferred payment methods and a plurality of user preferred payment methods obtained from a database. The selection is based on at least one of transaction information in the first payment request message and one or more rules. A second payment request message is generated in the selected payment method. The second payment request message is provided to the interoperability server. The transaction is processed in the selected payment method.
