CODE GENERATION AND TRACKING FOR AUTOMATIC DATA SYNCHRONIZATION IN A DATA MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
There are provided systems and methods for code generation and tracking for automatic data synchronization in a data management system. A user associated with an entity, such as an employee of an organization, may purchase an item utilizing a payment instrument or card provided by the organization. In order to provide proper expense allocation, the organization may require receipt matching and storage per use of the payment instrument. An expense management system may provide digital code generation and output on a corresponding physical or digital receipt so that when the receipt is provided to the expense management system, the codes may be matched to backend data stored by the system. The receipts may be processed by extracting text data from an image of a receipt to determine the codes. The codes may then be used to search a database of codes to match to digital transaction data.
Transaction mediation method
Systems and methods for processing transactions using a digital payment platform.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR COMPLETING CROSS-CHANNEL TRANSACTIONS
A high security communication channel between the back-end application and the customer's mobile device is disclosed. An application programming interface that integrates into a service provider's back end application and a software development kit that integrates into a mobile application on the customer's mobile device establish a two-way communication channel between the back-end application and the mobile device. When a customer is ready to complete a transaction in one of the service provider's sales channels, such as online, by phone, in-person, by mobile device, or at a kiosk, the transaction moves to the mobile device for completion. A push message on the mobile device launches the service provider's mobile application and the customer completes the transaction quickly and securely using the advanced automation functions, such as biometrics, GPS, wallet, camera or near field communication, available on the mobile device.
PAYMENT CARD BENEFIT VALUE ESTIMATOR SYSTEM AND METHOD WITH TRANSACTION-BASED INDIVIDUAL CARDHOLDER RELEVANCE OF SELECTABLE BENEFITS
A payment card benefit assessment system and method includes a computing device accepting payment card benefit catalog information from a payment card issuer and payment card transaction data from a payment card processing network. The payment card transaction data is analyzed to group cardholders into one demographic clusters and to determine an estimated benefit value for each of the demographic clusters. Individualized payment card benefit options are presented to an individual cardholder based on the individual cardholder's payment card transactions and the determined estimated benefit value for a corresponding one of the plurality of demographic clusters.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR USE IN FACILITATING NETWORK MESSAGING
Systems and methods are provided for use in facilitating network messages. An exemplary method includes receiving, at a network, an instruction associated with a first user and specific to a first user account, where the instruction is directed to a second user account associated with a second user. The method also includes compiling a pre-authorization message indicative of the instruction, consistent with a first message standard and including an identifier of the first user account, and transmitting the pre-authorization message to a first institution associated with the first user account. The method then includes translating the pre-authorization message and/or the instruction into a transfer instruction consistent with a second message standard different than the first message standard, and transmitting the transfer instruction to a different network thereby permitting the delivery of the transfer instruction consistent with the second standard to a second institution associated with the second user account.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR USE IN PROVISIONING DATA
Systems and methods are provided for provisioning data based on network messaging. One exemplary method includes passing, by a network computing device, a message to an institution where the message includes an account identifier for an account of a user and data of a first party. The data of the first party includes a code associated with a category of the first party and/or an identifier of the first party. The method also includes detecting, by a computing device, the message based on inclusion of the account identifier in the message and retrieving a control for the user based on the account identifier. The method then includes identifying, by the computing device, data for the user to be shared with the first party based on the data of the first party satisfying the control and sharing the identified data with the first party apart from the network computing device.
INJECTING USER CONTROL FOR CARD-ON-FILE MERCHANT DATA AND IMPLICITLY-IDENTIFIED RECURRING PAYMENT TRANSACTION PARAMETERS BETWEEN ACQUIRER PROCESSORS AND ISSUER PROCESSORS OVER DATA COMMUNICATION NETWORKS
Updates to a payment card of the specific card user that will affect subsequent payments to the COF merchants has occurred are detected based on receiving a notification from an issuer processor. In response, payment credentials can be automatically updated with the COF merchants for the specific card user.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR BILL PAYMENT USING TRANSACTION CARDS WITHIN A FINANCIAL INSTITUTION PAYMENT PLATFORM
Described herein are card-based bill payment systems and methods enabling bill payment using a transaction card within a consumer financial institution (CFI) payment platform and enabling real-time payment confirmation messaging is provided. The bill payment system includes a bill pay exchange (BPX) computing system that receives a payment initiation message from a CFI, the payment initiation message including tokenized payment credentials associated with a transaction card used to initiate a bill payment transaction with the CFI, a bill payment amount, and a biller identifier. The BPX computing system also identifies a biller service provider (BSP) associated with the biller, and transmit the payment initiation message to the BSP to initiate authorization of the bill payment transaction. The bill payment system further includes a payment processing network associated with the BPX computing system and configured to implement authorization of the bill payment transaction according to a card-based transaction model.
VIRTUAL CARD NUMBER AS A LOGIN CREDENTIAL
Disclosed embodiments pertain to systems and methods related to user authentication with a virtual payment card. A virtual card number can be requested as a login credential for a user. A virtual card number can be transmitted through a credit card payment network to a financial institution that issued the virtual card for payment authorization. The user can subsequently be authenticated in response to a granted payment authorization by the financial institution. The financial institution can execute a machine learning model trained to infer fraud based on a usage pattern associated with a virtual card number. Granting or denying payment authorization can depend on a confidence score returned by the model regarding the likelihood of fraud. A virtual card number associated with authentication can include one or more distinguishing characteristics in one instance. Further, virtual card numbers can include use restrictions in time and location.
Enhancing information security via the use of a dummy credit card number
The present disclosure is directed to enhancing electronic information security. An electronic device is registered in a registration process. The registration process of the electronic device includes at least one of: obtaining a device identifier that is unique to the electronic device and storing the device identifier as a registered device identifier; or obtaining a location of the electronic device via Global Positioning System (GPS) and storing the location as a registered location of the electronic device. A dummy credit card number is generated. After the registration process and after the dummy credit card number is generated, a request to conduct a transaction electronically is received. The request contains the dummy credit card number. A determination is made as to whether the request was sent from the registered electronic device. The request is processed if the request has been determined to come from the registered electronic device.
