METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR FACILITATING PAYMENTS FOR ITEMS DELIVERED AT DELIVERY LOCATIONS
A method and system for facilitating payments for items delivered at delivery locations is provided. A server system associated with a payment network receives payment card information provided by a user in relation to an online purchase of an item. The online purchase of the item is associated with selection of a Payment on Delivery option. The server system determines if the online purchase of the item is authorized or not. If the online purchase is authorized, a transaction ID is generated by the online seller. The server system receives the transaction ID from item delivery personnel subsequent to the delivery of the item to the delivery location. In response to the receipt of the transaction ID, a notification is provided to the user. The payment to the online seller is processed subsequent to receiving confirmation of the receipt of the item at the delivery location from the user.
Systems and Methods for Facilitating Network Transactions Based on User Authentication
Systems and methods are provided for facilitating payment account transactions in virtual settings. One exemplary method includes prompting, by a computing device, a selection of a product for purchase from a user in a virtual reality setting where the virtual reality setting is provided by the computing device. The method further includes transmitting an authentication request to a directory server for a purchase transaction for the product. In response, the computing device receives an authentication response for the purchase transaction from the directory server. When the authentication response includes an authentication value, the computing device compiles and transmits an authorization request for the purchase transaction for the selected product, where the authorization request includes the authentication value. When the authentication response includes an indication that a challenge is required, the computing device instead causes a device associated with the user to carry out the challenge in the virtual reality setting.
Systems and methods for using a cryptogram lockbox
Systems and methods for using a cryptogram lockbox are disclosed. In one embodiment, in a merchant-specific cryptogram lockbox comprising at least one computer processor, a method for generating a cryptogram locally using a cryptogram lockbox may include: (1) receiving, from merchant backend, a request for a cryptogram comprising an account identifier received from a customer in a transaction; (2) generating a cryptogram for the account identifier using a limited use key for the account identifier; and (3) returning the cryptogram to the merchant backend. The merchant may conduct the transaction using the cryptogram.
SECURE MANAGEMENT OF ACCOUNTS ON DISPLAY DEVICES USING A CONTACTLESS CARD
Systems, methods, apparatuses, and computer-readable media for secure management of accounts on display devices using a contactless card. An application executing on a display device may receive a request specifying a service provider. The display device may receive a cryptogram generated a contactless card, and transmit the cryptogram to an authentication server. The authentication server may decrypt the cryptogram and generate a virtual account number associated with the contactless card. The authentication server may transmit the virtual account number to the service provider, which may create an account based at least in part on the virtual account number and the decryption of the cryptogram by the authentication server. The display may receive an authentication token generated by the service provider for the account, and access the account created by the service provider based at least in part on the authentication token.
Systems and methods for use in provisioning data
Systems and methods are provided for provisioning data based on network messaging. One exemplary method includes passing, by a network computing device, a message to an institution where the message includes an account identifier for an account of a user and data of a first party. The data of the first party includes a code associated with a category of the first party and/or an identifier of the first party. The method also includes detecting, by a computing device, the message based on inclusion of the account identifier in the message and retrieving a control for the user based on the account identifier. The method then includes identifying, by the computing device, data for the user to be shared with the first party based on the data of the first party satisfying the control and sharing the identified data with the first party apart from the network computing device.
Systems and methods for card information management
Example embodiments of systems and methods for replacing card information. In an embodiment, a system comprises an authentication server in data communication with a network and a database in data communication with the authentication server. The authentication server is configured to receive an authentication signal from a user device via the network, retrieve a list of merchants having transaction history with an account associated with the account card, and transmit an access token to at least one merchant server selected using the list of merchants.
Predictive contextual transaction scoring
In one embodiment, a predictive contextual transaction scoring system receives transaction review data associated with person-to-person transactions from a marketplace, the transaction review data including feedback information relating to the person-to-person transaction. The system identifies contextual characteristics of the person-to-person transactions by analyzing the feedback information related to the person-to-person transactions. The system pairs a first party requesting a service to a second party providing the requested service by matching a contextual characteristic of the first party to a contextual characteristic of the second party. The system also predicts a transaction score for a new person-to-person transaction involving the first party and the second party, and provides the predicted transaction score to the marketplace to facilitate pairing of the first party requesting the service.
Apparatuses and methods for operating a portable electronic device to conduct mobile payment transactions
Methods for operating a portable electronic device to conduct a mobile payment transaction at a merchant terminal are provided. The electronic device may verify that the current user of the device is indeed the authorized owner by requiring the current user to enter a passcode. If the user is able to provide the correct passcode, the device is only partly ready to conduct a mobile payment. In order for the user to fully activate the payment function, the user may have to supply a predetermined payment activation input such as a double button press that notifies the device that the user intends to perform a financial transaction in the immediate future. The device may subsequently activate a payment applet for a predetermined period of time during which the user may hold the device within a field of the merchant terminal to complete a near field communications based mobile payment transaction.
Systems and methods for secure mobile transactions
Systems and methods for secure mobile transactions are disclosed. A method for conducting a transaction may include an issuer receiving, over a first network and from a customer mobile device, authentication information and mobile device location information; the issuer authenticating the customer, generating a transaction session identifier, and communicating the transaction session identifier to the mobile device over the first network; the issuer communicating, over a second network, the transaction session identifier and payment device information to an acquirer; the acquirer receiving, from the merchant, the transaction session identifier from the computer application, location information a merchant point of transaction, and transaction information; the acquirer generating a transaction authorization request including payment device information and the transaction information and communicating the request to the issuer portion over the second network; and the issuer authorizing the transaction authorization request. The issuer and acquirer may be under common control.
Order Information Processing Methods, Apparatuses and Systems
Methods, apparatuses and systems for processing order information are disclosed in the embodiments of the present disclosure. The method includes determining, by a first user data processing system, identification information of a second user when processing a service request of the second user; submitting the identification information of the second user to a server, to enable the server to perform credit authority verification on the second user; generating a service order and submitting the service order to the server after receiving a successful verification message; and submitting consumption resource information of the service order to the server, to enable the server to end the service order according to the consumption resource information. Using the embodiments of the present disclosure, efficiency is improved, and second user who is currently dealt with is avoided from waiting for a long period of time.
