CODE GENERATION AND TRACKING FOR AUTOMATIC DATA SYNCHRONIZATION IN A DATA MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
20240233038 · 2024-07-11 ·

There are provided systems and methods for code generation and tracking for automatic data synchronization in a data management system. A user associated with an entity, such as an employee of an organization, may purchase an item utilizing a payment instrument or card provided by the organization. In order to provide proper expense allocation, the organization may require receipt matching and storage per use of the payment instrument. An expense management system may provide digital code generation and output on a corresponding physical or digital receipt so that when the receipt is provided to the expense management system, the codes may be matched to backend data stored by the system. The receipts may be processed by extracting text data from an image of a receipt to determine the codes. The codes may then be used to search a database of codes to match to digital transaction data.

METHOD FOR PROVISIONING MERCHANT-SPECIFIC PAYMENT APPARATUS

Various embodiments are directed to a method and system for provisioning a merchant-specific payment apparatus, such as a temporary payment card, via a computing device, such as an automated teller machine (ATM). A user, such as a customer, may specify a merchant. A record of known payment acceptance types at that merchant may be returned, which may be used to determine what type of temporary payment card gets issued to the user.

Systems and methods for convenient and secure mobile transactions

Systems and methods for conducting convenient and secure mobile transactions between a payment terminal and a mobile device, e.g., in a fueling environment, are disclosed herein. In some embodiments, the payment terminal and the mobile device conduct a mutual authentication process that, if successful, produces a session key which can be used to encrypt sensitive data to be exchanged between the payment terminal and the mobile device. Payment and loyalty information can be securely communicated from the mobile device to the payment terminal using the session key. This can be done automatically, without waiting for the user to initiate a transaction, to shorten the overall transaction time. The transaction can also be completed without any user interaction with the mobile device, increasing the user's convenience since the mobile device can be left in the user's pocket, purse, vehicle, etc.

AUTOMATED FINANCIAL TRANSACTIONS

Arrangements relate to processing financial transactions on an automated teller machine (ATM). An ATM identifier can be presented on a display of the ATM. An ATM identifier confirmation can be received from a mobile computing device. Responsive to determining that the ATM identifier confirmation matches the identifier presented on the display of the ATM, a customer authentication or a transaction request can be received from the mobile computing device. Responsive to verifying the customer authentication or the transaction request, the transaction request can be processed.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR PERFORMING PUSH TRANSACTIONS

Embodiments of the invention are directed to systems and methods for pushing tokenized payments to resource providers for goods or services, after the goods or services are received. A user may make a transaction request including a credential and a resource provider ID (e.g., a resource provider location) via a server computer. The server computer may generate a token corresponding to the credential and transmit it to the resource provider using the resource provider ID. Upon receiving the token, the resource provider may enter a transaction amount and send it with the token in an authorization request message. The transaction can then be processed according to standard transaction processing methods, as if the resource provider had initiated the transaction request.

Systems and methods for facilitating card present transactions

This disclosure describes systems and methods related to facilitating card present transaction. In one embodiment, a service provider system may receive a request from a merchant to initiate a card present transaction associated with a consumer. The service provider system may determine an identifier associated with a mobile device associated with the consumer. The service provider system may communicate to the mobile device, based at least in part on the identifier, a message that facilitates invocation of a transaction module associated with the mobile device. The service provider system may facilitate the car present transaction based at least in part on an interaction with the transaction module.

CARD SHIMMER DETECTION

A shim detection device is selectively interfaced to a portion of a chip card reader that is integrated into a terminal. The shim detection device is configured to detect when a shimmer is inserted into the chip card reader during a card transaction at the terminal and take an automated action in response thereto.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR USING A CRYPTOGRAM LOCKBOX

Systems and methods for using a cryptogram lockbox are disclosed. In one embodiment, in a merchant-specific cryptogram lockbox comprising at least one computer processor, a method for generating a cryptogram locally using a cryptogram lockbox may include: (1) receiving, from merchant backend, a request for a cryptogram comprising an account identifier received from a customer in a transaction; (2) generating a cryptogram for the account identifier using a limited use key for the account identifier; and (3) returning the cryptogram to the merchant backend. The merchant may conduct the transaction using the cryptogram.

Systems for securing transactions based on merchant trust score

Systems for securing transactions based on merchant trust score are disclosed. The system may receive information identifying a merchant from a user device and, in response, retrieve transaction data associated with the merchant and receive website data in response to receiving information identifying the merchant. The system may use a machine learning model to generate a merchant trust score for the merchant, and determine whether the merchant trust score is less than a predetermined threshold. The system may also generate or retrieve an alternative payment method and provide related information or a recommendation to the user device.

Secure token driven conditional routing of proceeds

Methods and systems for secure token driven conditional routing of proceeds are described. A request to initiate routing of data between remote systems is received by a server computer system, where the request includes an incomplete set of parameters. A validation challenge and a challenge response defined by a first remote computing system are received, and a token that references the first remote computing system and the incomplete parameter set is generated. A validation may then be performed for a second remote computing system using the validation challenge and the challenge response defined by the first remote computing system. The incomplete set of parameters may then be completed by the second remote computing system when the challenge is validated to enable the routing of data according to the complete set of parameters referenced by the token.
