Methods and apparatus for associating media devices with a demographic composition of a geographic area

Example methods and apparatus for associating media devices with a demographic composition of a geographic area are disclosed. Disclosed example apparatus include means for receiving a plurality of Internet Protocol addresses assigned to a media device associated with a panel member. Disclosed example apparatus also include means for resolving addresses, the means for resolving to determine a most used Internet Protocol address from the plurality of Internet Protocol addresses, determine a geographic location corresponding to the most used Internet Protocol address, in response to determining the geographic location corresponds to a location of an internet service provider, associate a geographic area with the media device, determine a demographic profile associated with the geographic are, and associate the demographic profile with the media device.

METHOD FOR SUBSCRIBING INSURANCE POLICIES FROM GEOLOCATED MOBILE DEVICES WITH CONTRACTING ON A DISTRIBUTED DATABASE

Method and system for subscribing insurance policies from geolocated mobile devices with contracting on a distributed database, having an application for mobile devices and a back-end infrastructure, the system using geolocation and the digital channel to allow customers to select the most suitable policy and finalize the purchase; the system allowing: a) selecting from a plurality of policies categorized or automatically suggested according to user preferences; b) reserving special contractual conditions; c) entering the necessary documents from a mobile device; d) purchasing policies online from the mobile application; the system including: (A) a mobile application that implements: search mode and automatic proposal mode; automatic management and verification of the validity of the payment; immediate activation of the policy; (B) a central infrastructure including: user and insurance policy databases; a policy-position element generator; a generator of insurance proposals, based on machine learning algorithms.

Automated database record activation using predictive modeling of database access
10942931 · 2021-03-09 · ·

A computer implemented system and method for selecting and notifying operators of the option to enable a record activation feature for a short interval of time for the records they offer in a selected geographic area. Enabling record activation for a record indicates that the record may be booked without the operator's to manual approval of the transaction. Before selecting and notifying operators, a demand for database requests is predicted. Operators that are most likely to offer their record for record activation are identified. A quality score is determined for each identified record based on the likelihood that the record will get booked once the operator has programmatically enabled record activation. The records needed to fulfill the demand for database requests are selected based on their quality score and the operators of the selected records are notified of the option to enable record activation.

System and method for detecting and classifying recurrent stops of a vehicle fleet

A method and system for identifying recurrent stops of a vehicle fleet having a plurality of vehicles. The method comprises retrieving historical GPS tracks of the vehicle fleet over a period of time; detecting stops made by the vehicle fleet along travelled routes that are associated with the historical GPS tracks; constructing a coverage area that covers the travelled routes; discretizing the coverage area into a plurality of cells; determining whether a cell is a recurrent stop based on a fleet stay period associated with that cell; and classifying a determined recurrent stop into a plurality of categories.

Systems and methods for inferred review
10949899 · 2021-03-16 · ·

Systems and methods are provided for generating inferred reviews of service providers. Inferred reviews may be generated based on user behavior data for one or more users. The user behavior data may include information that represents how far a user travels to a service provider, how many similar service providers the user passes on the way to the service provider, a number of repeat visits to the service provider, a typical time for services at the service provider, or a length of time the user has been a customer or attendee of the service provider. A service provider may include a merchant, a hotel, a physician, a contractor, another service provider that provides goods or services for a cost or may include non-profit service providers, charity-based service providers or public locations such as parks, rest stops or other locations.

GEOGRAPHIC BOUNDARY DETERMINATION SERVICE

Systems, methods, and computer-readable media are described for a geographic boundary determination service. A geographic boundary may be associated with one of a plurality of geographic locations, and the area within the geographic boundary may be within a specified distance of the geographic location and closer to the geographic location than to any other geographic location in the plurality of geographic locations. The geographic boundary determination service may determine geographic boundaries for existing locations or may determine a set of locations whose geographic boundaries satisfy various criteria. The geographic boundary determination service may further display geographic maps that include the geographic boundaries, demographic indices and other demographic information relating to the geographic boundaries, network coverage information relating to the geographic boundaries, and a targeted geographic region or regions that the boundaries overlap.

ORDER DELIVERY PROCESSING

An order delivery processing method includes: extracting target location information and merchant location information from a received order; determining whether the order is in a preset delivery range according to the target location information and the merchant location information; delivering the order based on a first preset rule when the order is not in the preset delivery range; sending first order-taking notification information to a merchant in response to receiving an order-taking operation of a deliverer in the target deliverer set; determining the order is effective in response to receiving an order-taking operation fed back by the merchant in response to the first order-taking notification information; and delivering the order based on a second preset rule when the order is in the preset delivery range.

Resource allocation

Embodiments of the disclosure provide a system and method of allocating a resource based on myriad input data. In some embodiments, the myriad input data include membership information, claims data, transactional data, etc. The myriad input data are sorted and organized in a meaningful association relationship before applied to a resource allocation modeling algorithm. The resource allocation modeling algorithm provides estimated resource necessary for the application chosen. For example, an insurance company may use membership information, claims data, transactional data, etc., to estimate how much reserves or funds it should hold to cover future claims within a certain timeframe.

OPTIMIZING LARGE SCALE DATA ANALYSIS

Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on a computer storage medium, for an object grouping system that obtains data for multiple sketches that are each stored using a set of registers and are a sampling of objects in a dataset. Each object in the dataset is a member of a digital audience. For each sketch, the system uses an identifier for a first object to generate a hashed parameter. The system determines whether the hashed parameter contributes to describing demographic attributes of the sampling of objects. The system stores demographic attributes of the first object at a register in the set when it determines that the hashed parameter contributes to describing the demographic attributes. The system generates an output that indicates a number of objects in the digital audience that were reached by content directed at the digital audience and demographic attributes for the number of objects.
