Crowd-sourced activity processing
Users form custom-defined communities for performing a defined activity amongst themselves. An actor defines the activity and restrictions associated with the activity. Members of the community place requests for the actor to perform member-specific actions during the activity on behalf of the members. The actor performs the activity with the member-specific actions and arranges procurement of results associated with each of the members. The actor and the members may also settle up with one another at least upon procurement. The activity is crowd sourced within the custom-defined community, thereby reducing the need for the members to each individually perform the activity.

Embodiments of systems and methods for the aggregation, analysis, display and monetization of pricing data for commodities in general, and which may be particularly useful applied to vehicles are disclosed. Specifically, in certain embodiments, historical transaction data associated with a particular vehicle configuration may be obtained and processed to determine pricing data associated with the vehicle configuration. The historical transaction data or determined pricing data may then be presented in an intuitive manner.

The customer flow line determining method comprises: receiving coordinate data sent from multiple mobile devices, wherein an environment in which the multiple mobile devices are located is divided into a plurality of grids; on the basis of the coordinate data of each mobile device, determining the grid to which each mobile device belongs; determining the number of the mobile devices in each grid; and on the basis of the number of the mobile devices in each grid, outputting a customer flow line distribution map.

Systems and methods for determining an optimal delivery location based on delivery address and delivery time are provided. An example method includes receiving an online order from a user application installed on a user device; generating a map comprising a dynamic display of a local service area polygon associated with the online order and transmitting the map to the user application; transmitting to the user application a request for a delivery address; upon receipt of the delivery address, querying the delivery address to determine whether the local service area polygon includes the delivery address; transmitting to the user application a request for a delivery time; upon receipt of the delivery time, automatically recommending an optimal delivery location and time within the local service area polygon based on the delivery address and delivery time; and executing a delivery of the online order based on the optimal delivery location and time.

A system for processing information requests associated with mobile devices comprises an evaluation module configured to determine at least one performance measure for each of a plurality of information documents using at least data in one or both of a requests database and events database. The system further comprises an information server configured to select a first information document for transmitting to a first mobile device to fulfill a first request. The information server includes a volume control unit configured to derive an off-line site visit projection in response to the first document being selected based at least in part on an off-line site-visit-based performance measure and having been impressed on the first mobile device, and to adjust a budget associated with the first document using the off-line site visit projection.

The concepts and technologies disclosed herein are directed to a policy-driven homing service system that can receive, from a master service orchestrator, a demand specifying a service component to be used to provide, at least in part, a service. The system can receive, from a policy system, a homing constraint. The system can determine, for the demand, an initial set of all potential candidates. The system can apply the homing constraint to each potential candidate in the initial set of all potential candidates. The system can determine a resultant set of potential solutions that satisfy the homing constraint. The system can determine a best solution from the resultant set of potential solutions. The system can send the best solution to the master service orchestrator, which instantiates the demand based upon the best solution.
DISCOVERING NEIGHBORHOOD CLUSTERS AND USES THEREFOR
Computer-based systems and methods for discovering neighborhood clusters in a geographic region, where the clusters have a mix of venues and are determined based on venue check-in data. The mix of venues for the clusters may be based on the social similarity between pairs of venues; or emblematic of certain neighborhood typologies; or emblematic of temporal check-in pattern types; or combinations thereof. The neighborhood clusters that are so discovered through venue-check in data could be used for many commercial and civic purposes.

A strategic decision support system is disclosed. The system can filter content received from a remote database coupled to a network to provide a graphical user interface to enable strategic decision making to expand utilization of a product. The system can include a local client computer to generate access to content stored in the remote database, at least one filtering scheme, a set of selectable filters configured to filter the content stored in the remote database according to the at least one filtering scheme, and a remote server coupled to the local client computer via the network to analyze access restrictions to the product based on a selected filter and the at least one filtering scheme to generate a graphical user interface displayed on the local client computer.
