Systems and methods for improving the liquidity and distribution network for luxury and other illiquid items are provided. These systems and methods preferably include the trading of futures and options contracts, which will provide the liquidity and distribution network for luxury items. Possible embodiments of these systems and methods include the trading of futures and options contracts for diamonds and wine. Another embodiment of this invention preferably includes generating indexes for diamond prices, wine prices, luxury item prices, housing values, mortgage prepayments, privately-held companies or for anything with from sufficiently liquid points of value. Another embodiment of this invention preferably includes a centralized data base for retrieving closing and current auction prices for determining the value of, and best method for the auctioning of various items. The data provided by this data base would improve liquidity by creating greater price transparency.

A system and method for management of parking spaces is provided. The system including a server configured to receive the geolocation of a motorist and generate a live interactive map depicting available parking spaces configured to be occupied by the motorist either immediately or within an upcoming period of time. The server further configured to establish a secure connection between computing devices associated with the motorist and a current occupier of an applicable parking space allowing an opportunity for the occupier to preserve the applicable parking space until arrival of the motorist at the applicable parking space.

A method of implementing sub-table replication starts with the processor detecting an update to an entitlements table. The processor performs filtering of a data table based on the update to the entitlements table. The data table including an entitlements column. The processor detects an update to the entitlements column and performs incremental replication of the data table by causing a version-based replication to be executed. A method, and corresponding system, employs machine learning to predict a plurality of output targets corresponding to a plurality of input attributes for nodes on a telecommunications network. Each node represents a user with no or limited Internet access desiring broadband communications. The target can be set to a measure of the likelihood of broadband access being provided for a particular node. The method and corresponding system includes steps and apparatus for: defining the attributes in relation to telecommunications broadband service for a node, each node having associated informational content; defining the targets as predictive outcomes relating to telecommunications broadband service for a node; assigning each attribute a value based on interpretation of informational content extracted from a node; determining targets corresponding to the attributes using a machine learning algorithm; and reporting the targets in response to queries. In an exemplary environment, a decision tree analysis is used, where each node is represented by a plurality of attributes, and each attribute is used to recursively effect a split of informational content pertaining to it, until a measure of gain as between the nodes is optimized. The target value for each node is thereby determined. The list of input attributes includes geographical factors, a socio-economic factors, political factors, educational factors, technology factors, external factors and telecommunications factors.

Systems and methods are provided for partitioning a geographical area to generate a plurality of partitions for the geographical area, determining a plurality of points of interest located in the geographic area, determining a popularity of each of the plurality of points of interest based on a trip count comprising at least one of a number of ridesharing pickups or a number of ride-sharing drop-offs at the point of interest, and for each partition of the plurality of partitions of the geographical area, determining one popular point of interest located within the partition and associating the one popular point of interest with the partition.

A system and a method for proficiency assessment and remedial practice is disclosed. A remedial subsystem to recommend a set of remedial practices to the learner. A deep remedial subsystem including a test administration module to conduct a practice test. A proficiency assessment module to determine difference in the current proficiency level of the learner and a second predetermined threshold limit, identifies a learning requirement of the learner recurrently using a coherence map and recommends a set of deep remedial practices to the learner recurrently. The system also allows for enhanced interaction for the learner via an interactive digital assistant.

The present invention relates generally to a novel and improved method of loading clickstream data into a web analytics platform, and, a commercial off the shelf (COTS) web analytics platform. The process of loading traffic into COTS Web Analytics platform from clickstream data relates to: (1) the process of discovering ecommerce sales by looking for specific tracking beacons in clickstream or resource stream and loading them into a COTS web analytics platform; (2) a process of discovering website “goals” by looking for clusters of tracking “beacon” activity in clickstream or resource stream data; and (3) a process of unlocking the search term that a website visitor typed into a search engine immediately prior to visiting that website when web analytics platforms can't see that data for many searches (99%+) having all of the features described above.

An object is to forecast a demand more flexibly. A demand forecasting device 1 that forecasts a demand in a first area, which is a predetermined area, includes a storage unit (10) configured to store area information regarding a second area, the second area being a predetermined area relevant to a demand of the first area, an acquisition unit (11) configured to acquire information on the number of people in the second area indicated by the area information stored in the storage unit (10), and a forecasting unit (12) configured to forecast a demand in the first area on the basis of the information on the number of people in the area acquired by the acquisition unit (11).

The present invention provides a POI tracking analysis system, which comprises: a footprint tracking unit, for detecting user's footprint information, which includes a plurality of stay times of the user or a user's virtual object visiting record at different locations; a POI analysis unit, comparing the stay time (or the virtual object visiting record) at one of the locations in the footprint information, with a judgment threshold according to a point of interest at the location, for determining whether this one location is a point of interest of the user or not; and a historical information storage unit, storing each point of interest of the user. The present invention further provides a people flow analysis system, which determines a people flow status at each location according to the footprint information.

Computer-implemented methods and systems are provided that monitor brand performance in a holistic manner by calculating brand scores for a set of competitive brand names over time and in different geographical territories through disparate mass media and digital media channels. The methods and systems take into account i) different influence factors that pertain to a brand's influence on consumer behavior in the different media channels over time and in different geographical territories as well as ii) the exposure (spending) that use the brand in the media channels and the geographical territories over time. In embodiments, the brand score for a given brand can be calculated by combining influence factor scores and an exposure factor score using a set of weights derived from statistical modeling of brand performance in a brand category and relevant geographical territory. Other systems and methods for monitoring and evaluating brand performance are disclosed and claimed.
