COMMODITY RECOMMENDATION METHOD AND COMMODITY RECOMMENDATION DEVICE
A commodity recommendation method and a commodity recommendation device are disclosed. The commodity recommendation method includes receiving location information of a user to whom the commodity is to be recommended, performing commodity recommendation according to the location information of the user to whom the commodity is to be recommended, and sending the recommended commodity information to the user to whom the commodity is to be recommended. This location-based commodity recommendation method can mere accurately meet user requirements while improve the convenience of shopping.
COMPUTING ORDERS OF MODELED EXPECTATION ACROSS FEATURES OF MEDIA
A method implemented by a determination engine is provided. The determination engine receives a media dataset comprising target piece music information, target piece audience information, corpus music information, corpus audience information, and corpus preference data. The determination engine determines a subset of the corpus music and preference information and determines at least one surprise factor of the subset of the corpus music and preference information across features at one of a plurality of orders. The determination engine learns a model that estimates a likelihood that time-varying surprise trends across the features achieves a preference level. The determination engine determines at least one surprise factor of the target piece music information across the features at the one of the plurality of orders and predicts, using the model, preference information using the time-varying surprise trends for the target piece music information across the features.
RECOMMENDATION SYSTEM FOR PATTERNED PURCHASES
Systems as described herein may include making recommendations for patterned purchases. Transaction information for a user that is associated with a plurality of merchants in a geographic location may be received. Frequencies of visits and transaction patterns associated with the plurality of merchants may be determined. Risk factors and a success rate that the user to complete shopping successfully may be determined. In a variety of embodiments, after detecting that the success rate falls below a threshold value, a recommendation for the user to shop at an alternative merchant and alternative time/date may be presented to the user.
PRICE RANGE SYMBOL INDICATOR INTEGRATION DISPLAY SYSTEM, METHOD, AND DEVICE
A method of displaying a plurality of price range symbols, each price range symbol being representative of a time period, each time period having a same duration, the method includes generating and displaying, by a charting engine, a first of one or more price range symbols positioned starting at a first position corresponding to a first time and having a first symbol width spanning the time period, and generating and displaying, by the charting engine, a second of one or more price range symbols positioned starting at a second position corresponding to a second time and having a second symbol width spanning the time period, wherein the second time occurred after the first time and the second symbol width is wider than the first symbol width.
Career Accelerator Toolkit
Software tools serve universities and their prospective and enrolled students in the development of clearly understood career pathways, attainment of skills, and transition to employment. Exemplary embodiments are designed to better reveal the connections between chosen majors, required coursework, developed skills, future employment, and regional labor markets, while also providing data to better understand a student's process of making educational and career choices when exposed to this data. An overall goal of the product is to affect increased enrollment and successful outcomes of underserved and non-traditional students through exposure to guaranteed transfer pathways, cost savings, timely matriculation, higher retention, and increased post-graduation job opportunities focused on regional job markets.
Predicting the crowdedness of a location
Embodiments of the present invention disclose a method, a computer program product, and a computer system for predicting a crowdedness of a location. In the example embodiment, a computer receives a location and defines a geofence around the location. In addition, the computer collects current feature data of users within the geofence and predicts a crowdedness of the location based on inputting the current feature data into a model.
Policy-driven data locality and residency
A method and system for policy-driven locality management of routes in cloud-based multi-tenant systems is disclosed. Policies are provided to end user devices to specify one or more locality and residency to either favor or avoid. Routes are provided to each end user device for the policies. When an application specifies a policy to use for a cloud service, the appropriate route(s) are provided to provide connectivity. Testing of the route is performed for compliance to provide telemetry. Where non-compliance is found, the routes are updated and distributed to the various end user devices.
System and method for identifying mobile device users using a wireless communications device at an entity location
Systems and methods are provided for identifying and communicating with a user through the user's mobile device. One example method includes receiving, from the mobile device, a user identifier associated with the user and an entity identifier associated with an entity location, the entity identifier being obtained by the mobile device from a wireless transmitter located adjacent to an entrance of the entity location; retrieving user profile data associated with the user identifier from a user database, the user profile data including a user qualifier; providing the user profile data to a display device at the entity location, the display device configured to display the user profile data, including the user qualifier; and sending at least one notification to the mobile device for display thereon, the at least one notification comprising at least one of information related to the entity location and a portion of the user profile data.
Systems and methods for defining candidate and target locations based on items and user attributes
Systems and methods are provided for using information obtained from a various databases to efficiently identify new or additional geographic locations in which a user, such as a seller, a manufacturer, a distributor, etc. can offer its goods and/or services for acquisition. A user interface is provided that provides information on such locations and value details for a user to utilize in determining where to offer or list an item for acquisition.
FOOD SAFETY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
Disclosed are various embodiments of a food safety management system, including a web portal for management and reporting and a handheld computing device for checklist completion. A checklist of tasks to be performed in a food service establishment is obtained and displayed on a touchscreen of the handheld computing device. Confirmation is obtained on the touchscreen whether a task has been completed. An identifier at a location in the food service establishment is inputted to verify that a task has been completed. Temperature and humidity readings are obtained from one or more stationary sensors monitoring a food storage environment. Task completion data, temperature data, and humidity data are sent to a server.
