SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR AGGREGATING AND APPLYING REWARD POINTS

A computer-implemented method includes receiving reward points associated with a first account and a second account held by a consumer from a first issuer computer system and a second issuer computer system. A first conversion factor is applied to convert the reward points for the first account into reward money, and a second conversion factor is applied to converted the reward points for the second account into reward money. The first conversion factor is received from the first issuer computer system, and the second conversion factor is received from the second issuer computer system. The reward money from the first account and the second account are combined to provide aggregated reward money. The consumer is presented with options for using the combined reward points of the first and second accounts for making purchases, donating to charities, or sharing with other consumers from a single, integrated platform.

The present invention teaches a system, method and computer program for enabling local or regional merchants to participate in an automated cause marketing (ACM) program using mobile devices. The ACM program that may provide benefits to several parties involved in fundraising for one or more supported organizations, including one or more supported organizations, advertising providers, merchants, and individuals. Merchants are able to access enhanced analytics regarding their transactions with members and non-members of the ACM program and can use these enhanced analytics to realize an increased number of or revenue from transactions with members. The present invention also teaches a system and method for enabling advertising providers to acquire and analyze data associated with consumers-merchant transactions. The present invention provides the above features optimally using mobile devices. Furthermore, the present invention, may enable a member to disseminate its charitable preferences and contribution notifications to members of its electronic social networks.

PAYMENT DEVICE APPLETS WITH PRE-STORED MESSAGES AND TRIGGERABLE LOGIC

A system may include a payment card that includes one or more chips that are operable to utilize information in a payment transaction to enact different functions. For example, a payment applet in a contact chip transaction (e.g., contact EMV transaction) or contactless chip transaction (e.g., contactless EMV transaction) may utilize information that flows through the chip (e.g., country, time, date, transaction amount, approval status) to trigger pre-stored messages or functions (e.g., switch to a payment option or account). Information may be introduced into the chip during a transaction as a result of manual input from the cardholder on the cardholder's phone or other device. Thus, transaction scripting (e.g., EMV scripting) may be utilized to let a card (e.g., static or powered) know that a function (e.g., change of account) is desired by a cardholder and the chip may, if not in the proper account, reset and restart the chip in a mode associated with the desired function (e.g., in the desired account).

Real time scalable loyalty processing apparatuses and/or systems operable to process up to ten thousand transactions per second and more than one billion transactions annually, and having a sub-second response time.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR TRANSACTION DETECTION AND TRANSACTION INDICATOR MECHANISMS FOR CARDS AND DEVICES

A detection activity of a card may be sensitive to property changes in one or more conductive pads on the card and/or information received by the card, where a processor of the card may execute a transaction indication algorithm based on detected property changes on the card, that may be caused by the card's proximity to a point-of-sale terminal and/or by information received by the card. The transaction indication algorithm may cause the processor to provide visible, audible and/or tactile indicators on the card based on the detection.

ADVANCED SECURE PAYMENT DEVICE

A wallet card or other device includes three buttons, a PCB antenna for connection to all cellular bands including low band, mid band and high band, dual pressure sensors operable to determine velocity and/or as an independent trigger, a cellular chip whose encryption/decryption key between a payment network and the cellular chip is dynamically changeable for security, and a dynamic magnetic communications device operable to communicate data using a magnetic data waveform with amplitude adjusted by the device.

Various embodiments herein each include at least one of systems, methods, software, and data structures that facilitate inter-entity non-monetary transactions. Some such embodiments include a single account identifier per consumer that is utilized across multiple entities to identify a single award account which is credited and debited in the consumer's transactions with all participating entities. One method embodiment includes receiving a unique account identifier within a transaction involving an account of the unique account identifier and calculating a value based on the transaction for transfer to the account of the account identifier. The method then generates a data structure in memory to transfer the calculated value to the account of the account identifier and signing the data structure in the memory with a private key of a private/public key-pair. The method then transmits the data structure to a computing system storing a replicated trusted ledger used to maintain value balances.

AUTOMATED CAUSE MANAGEMENT

A method, system and computer program for providing a loyalty engine for automated cause marketing. The method can include a charity linking merchants and sponsors to the loyalty system.
