Incented Stored Value Account Holder Transaction
A method, system and computer program for providing a loyalty engine for automated cause marketing. The method can include a charity linking merchants and sponsors to the loyalty system. Once the merchants and the sponsors are linked and the members are registered, merchant defined rules can instruct a loyalty engine as to the level of donations in connection with one or more transactions by a member that is associated to the loyalty program. The loyalty system can include a reporting facility to allow the merchant to track transactions with members in a number of ways. A system is also provided that can consist of a server including the loyalty engine and the charity utility. The charity utility can provide the functions of the method and can be linked to the networked server.
VENDOR AGNOSTIC LOYALTY PROGRAM
A novel and advantageous vendor agnostic loyalty program. More particularly, a novel and advantageous loyalty program that spans multiple vendors and multiple manufacturers. The loyalty program may be used by a customer at one or a plurality of vendors. The loyalty program tracks what is bought by each customer at what location of what vendor, how many points or rewards are accumulated by each customer at what location of what vendor, and what product incentives for what products from what manufacturer are redeemed at what location of what vendor.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR TARGETED MARKETING AND CONSUMER RESOURCE MANAGEMENT
Systems and methods are described for providing an enhanced rebate and marketing program which may automatically enroll a consumer in a loyalty programs after the consumer completes rebate form; filter consumer information to provide to customer relationship management campaigns; capture real-time consumer responses to queries; provide real-time and dynamic, targeted offers and other communications to consumers and recipients; and provide bonus added value to consumer received rebates.
AUTHORIZATION NETWORK AND A METHOD FOR AUTHORIZING A PRELIMINARY TRANSACTION VALUE
An authorization network includes a payment terminal and a loyalty program server. The payment terminal receives a preliminary transaction value, receives an account number from an EMV-compliant payment device, and determines an authorization value from a difference between the preliminary transaction value and a redemption value. The terminal initiates a funds transfer from a customer account associated with the account number in an amount equal to the authorization value by at least transmitting the account number and the authorization value to the payment device, receiving a cryptogram from the payment device, and confirming that the cryptogram was generated from the authorization value and from a cryptographic key uniquely associated with the payment device. The terminal initiates a funds transfer from a funding account to a merchant account by transmitting to the server a redemption request that includes the account number.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR TARGETED MARKETING AND CONSUMER RESOURCE MANAGEMENT
Systems and methods are provided for providing targeted marketing to goods and services provides and consumer resource management services to consumers. An example system and method for targeted marketing comprises collecting transaction data from point-of-sale (POS) terminals and using a consumer identifier in the transaction data to access stored information about the consumer. This information may be used to target offers and advertisement to the consumer. In an example system for consumer resource management, a consumer may configure a consumer account on the enterprise infrastructure via a web-site. The consumer may use the consumer account to purchase and configure gift cards that may be used for purchasing goods and services. A universal transaction identifier may be associated with the consumer account and used to purchase goods and services from more than one selected goods and services providers.
Method and System for Delivering Offers to Users of Electronic Privilege Cards
A method for delivering customized data items to users of electronic privilege cards includes receiving a customized data item to be delivered to a user having an electronic privilege card, identifying the electronic device storing the targeted user's electronic privilege card, and transmitting the customized data item to the electronic device. In one embodiment, the data item is an offer or coupon that the user may redeem from an entity associated with the electronic privilege card, such as a retailer or service provider. In another embodiment, the electronic device storing the electronic privilege card is a mobile telephone.
Methods and systems for managing transaction card accounts enabled for use with particular categories of providers and/or goods/services
A computer-implemented method and system for managing transaction card accounts involves enabling a transaction card account by a card issuer for use with pre-defined categories of providers of goods/services and goods/services sold and issuing a transaction card and establishing an associated pre-qualified category card account. Upon receiving data for a transaction with the transaction card at a transaction terminal by a processing platform of the card issuer via a card association processing network, the category of the provider and goods/services is interrogated to determine whether or not the transaction can be posted on the pre-qualified category card account of the cardholder, and the transaction is approved and posted to the pre-qualified category card account if the transaction falls within the pre-qualified category of the cardholder.
PORTABLE MULTIFUNCTION DEVICE WITH MULTIPLE APPLICATIONS
A system and method for operating a reward points accumulation and redemption program wherein a user earns reward points from a plurality of independent reward points issuing entities, with each tracking the user's earned reward points in a user reward point account stored on a multi-function card (such as a frequent flyer account or a credit card loyalty account). The multi-function card is adapted to aggregate some or all of the user's earned reward points from the reward accounts and credit the aggregated points into a single reward exchange account on the multi-function card. The user may then select an item for purchase with the accumulated reward points from the multi-function card. The item is provided to the user in exchange for a subset or all of the reward points from the multi-function card.
System, method and computer-accessible medium for authentication of rewards information
An exemplary system, method and computer-accessible medium can include receiving information regarding a purchase by a person, receiving financial account information regarding a financial account associated with the person that was used to fund the purchase, generating rewards information associated with the purchase, generating an authentication token(s) based on the financial account information, sending the rewards information and the authentication token(s) over a network, and receiving a confirmation, over the network, that a rewards account associated with the person has been updated.
PAYMENT DEVICE APPLETS WITH PRE-STORED MESSAGES AND TRIGGERABLE LOGIC
A system may include a payment card that includes one or more chips that are operable to utilize information in a payment transaction to enact different functions. For example, a payment applet in a contact chip transaction (e.g., contact EMV transaction) or contactless chip transaction (e.g., contactless EMV transaction) may utilize information that flows through the chip (e.g., country, time, date, transaction amount, approval status) to trigger pre-stored messages or functions (e.g., switch to a payment option or account). Information may be introduced into the chip during a transaction as a result of manual input from the cardholder on the cardholder's phone or other device. Thus, transaction scripting (e.g., EMV scripting) may be utilized to let a card (e.g., static or powered) know that a function (e.g., change of account) is desired by a cardholder and the chip may, if not in the proper account, reset and restart the chip in a mode associated with the desired function (e.g., in the desired account).
