Systems and methods are provided through which loyalty reward tokens are automatically generated and redeemed through one or more decentralized distributed ledger nodes based on dynamic tracking of user transactions. As transaction data associated with a user is received, transaction tokens are automatically minted through a decentralized distributed ledger. When a threshold amount of transaction tokens corresponding to a loyalty reward has been minted, the provided systems automatically generate a rewards token in the decentralized distributed ledger. The rewards token is redeemable for use with a merchant system, whereby when the rewards token is redeemed, the merchant system can apply the corresponding reward.

In one embodiment, a method of rewarding a user of a search engine includes receiving secure identification information identifying a user, retrieving user account information using the secure identification information, receiving a search query associated with the user account information, crediting the user account with a reward that is directly related to providing the search query, and returning search results in response to the received search query.

SURFACING LOCAL MERCHANTS WITH ENHANCED REWARD OPPORTUNITIES

Disclosed are various embodiments for surfacing local merchants with enhanced rewards opportunities to customers. First, a computing device can determine that a merchant satisfies a qualification criterion and add the merchant to a list of qualified merchants. Then, the computing device can send a message to a client application executing on a client device associated with a transaction account, the notification indicating that the merchant is a qualified merchant. Then, the computing device receives a first message from the client device indicating that a user of the client device is travelling from a first location to the merchant. Later, the computing device receives a second message from the client device indicating that the user of the client device has arrived at the merchant. A distance traveled by the client device is calculated and award value is calculated based on the distance traveled.

An end-user computing device may utilize an imaging device to capture input from an electronic tag of a physical asset. The end-user computing device may generate supplemental digital data associated with the input. A loyalty program management system associated with an enterprise location is provided. The loyalty program management system is programmed to: a) receive a plurality of input data associated with a plurality of patrons, wherein the plurality of input data represents actions of the plurality of patrons; b) determine a current location of a patron of the plurality of patrons, wherein the current location of the patron is not at the enterprise location; and c) transmit a message to a computer device associated with the patron including a prize to be awarded if the patron visits the enterprise location.

The codes are received by the mobile computing devices, and can be used to present promotional or other content to the consumer, such as content related to the consumer's current location within the store. The codes can also be used for other purposes, such as for use as part of a store rewards program. In some embodiments a vendor is charged a fee for presentation of the content to the consumer.

In addition, the device may be configured to receive the user's selection from the prompt. The device may include executing the user's selection to manage the tag accordingly.
